Zambian pastors invited to preach in India

Share

A visiting Indian church leader has appealed to Zambian Pastors to start thinking of going to India to do pastoral work and reach many Indians with the word of God.

Missionary Global Alliance Director, Dr Stanly Simon, made the appeal when he spoke to a group of over 70 pastors in Ndola.

Dr Simon said India was a good ground to do pastoral work because there was a larger number of communities who were in need of hearing the word of God which should bring hope to their lives.

He said there were many gods in India because the majority of Indians believed in having a god for anything that they feared or loved most.

He said many communities in India had not yet heard the saving word of God that instill the heart-driven joy in life.

Dr Simon said the Missionary Global Alliance was a Christian organisation working with many partners in several countries.

  1. Welcome indeed. Remember Ephesians 6:18. We shall pray that your steps are directed by God for the time you are in that country. Your going in shall be a blessing to the people of India. No weapon that will be formed against you shall prosper, you are shielded by the promises of God unto Abraham that whoever blesses you shall be blessed and whoever curses shall be cursed and as Galatians 4:28 says, you are protetcted under God’s covenant with Abraham through his offsprings by which we are connected through Isaac and Jesus. Amen.

  2. Great stuff as the Holy Scriptures indicate:

    KJV Bible + Matthew 28
“28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen. ”

Our Indian fellow Earth Citizen’s need the message of God and they have to have access to it even now.

Finally Jesus Christ is recorded to have said in Matthew::

“24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” in Matthew Chapter 24 as an outline of…

  3. YES, so many died so that the Good News could be preached here. Please go forth and fear not “because I am with you until the end of time”
May blessings accompany you and may you be protected by the blood of the lamb.

  4. #4 Ba Honey, well whoever believes in Jesus Christ has a duty to be Christ’s ambossador. It will be funny to hear of the German ambassador to Zambia to be actively involved with the activities in the missions of the Kenyan High Commissioner to Zambia because the two countries missions are different. That is why it would be strange for a Chrsitian not to represent Christ on his mission here on earth. But to do that, we need to be equiped with the word Joshua 1:8-9, Deuteronomy 30:19-20, 2 Chronicles 20:20. But to answer your question, yes I am a lay pastor but to tell you the truth, it has not been easy. And so are you (a lay pastor, teacher, prophet etc) unless you’ve not just heard the calling.

  5. #7 kamunyama, i believe that he is the lord of lords, king of kings, he is the only one who can move mountains, build the entire world in seven days, just think about it , it says in Genesis, it took him only seven days to build the world. So who i am i ague with that.

  6. In as much as there is a cry and hunger for the word of God in India, I believe it’s not only that country that is in need of it alone. Here in Zambia, we still have place where the word of God is rarely preached. Am not implying that Zambia should be the first priority but if these pastors can establish there pulpits here at home, I don’t believe that it will be difficult to establish themselves somewhere else. We still have pastors who do not know how to start a church from solid ground. They entirely depend on the ground that has already been layed by other pastors. Its much easier to those that have the experience of starting a church from nowhere to something. Faith without works is dead. The faith they have in God should be execised to this calling of taking the word of God to…

  7. One reason for the “great illiteracy” of Christianity, is the “sad shape” of current religious writings. The authors of the so-called spiritual books that top the best-selling lists, are concerned only with “spiritual comforts” and are more interested in exploiting faith to gain readers than they are in bringing vital knowledge of religion to the people. “The stern and rugged events that should summon a legion of historians, novelists and dramatists have been so emasculated by genteel purveyors of faith that it is no wonder that Christians of our time lack even the most cursory interest in the dramatic unfolding of events which made possible our faith.”

  8. Going to India to preach christianity is as absurd as having hindu missionaries sent here to teach hinduism. My point is the religion you belong to is very much dependant on your place of birth.Religion is geographical.

  9. Thanks man of God, for that timely invitation! Ba honey, Maestro hehhehhe ,Kamunyama and I,are willing to travel and bring the lost souls to Jesus Christ! Amen!!

  10. Not necessarily ba Fission. If you believe what the bible teaches, you would notice it talks about disciples being in all the earth-christian disciples of course. The only problem is that what is currently called christianity is made up of a lot of squabbling sects, yet the night before he died, Jesus prayed for unit. Can these squablling sects be true? Not when they don’t agree on their basic teachings. No wonder Jesus then said there be conterfeit christians, these are the one who will say Lord and lord, but they will be rejected as outlaws by Jesus. So bakamba, Bola ni panshi

  11. A true christian will not boast. Look at Noah, He preached for a period of about 120 years before the flood of his day. How many people repented because of his preaching? Would you say he was a failure as a preacher? Baby C, A person who preaches is not the one who brings souls to Jesus as it were. Some in the first century had that mistaken view and Paul lovingly and firmly corrected that. Notice his reasoning and see what you learn from it. “What, then, is A·pol?los? Yes, what is Paul? Ministers through whom YOU became believers, even as the Lord granted each one. 6 I planted, A·pol?los watered, but God kept making [it] grow; 7 so that neither is he that plants anything nor is he that waters, but God who makes [it] grow.” Did Paul have anything to boast about? Who made it grow?

  12. This is good hwo shall they hear without a preacher and how shall they preach without being sent? So this is a call of God to Zed preachers to go and spread the word of God to the indian communities…Christ will not return until his name and word has reached every ear on this earth…..May God be with those that will go to india for God’s business…!

  13. #21 Thank you for reminding us of KK’s birthday. He is one of a kind and I hope there’s more of his breed and calibre among our ranks to one day take over Zambia.

  14. 25 Jamaco
You are right. Religion is the opium of the people. People who are in pain need a pain killer. I wonder whether you would reject anaesthesia while you undergo a surgical operation? If religion numbs the pain and suffering here on earth, well and good. If religion helps people have a great life after death, well and good. Either way it is a win-win situation.

  15. Religion has caused so much PAIN for the people. Take for instance the Crusades and other so called “holy wars”. Which war was ever faught in which the waring parties or at least one of them did not claim the favour of the gods to be on their side?

  16. 24 My argument is this. The assignment Jesus gave his disciples is two fold. One it envolves making disciples by teaching them to observe all things he commanded(Matthew 28:19-20). ( This would mean teaching the TRUTH about God, Jesus and how they can truly please God). Not human philosophies and customs adopted from pagans now paraded as christian teachings. It also envolves giving a witness to the nations(Matthew 24:14). This does not necessarily bring about a repentance on the part of the hearer but it does give them a chance to decide. In any case, a christian will not boost about his “accomplishments” because all things are only possible by means of the holy spirit that God supplies.

  17. ba “elo natona” bakamba, obviously mwalisopolola ichipingo nomba pali #14 and #19-uncalled for comments but the situation demands prayers against misrepresentation of Jesus Christ.

  18. Leave the Indians alone, what good has the pastor done to Zambia to start with…..Let them be with their gods or Gods or GODS…. or whatever, Christianity is so self important.

  19. Christianity and religion in general has caused AFRICA to be exploited . Let us pray and close your eyes, by the time they are saying AMEN ,Huge Chunks of diamonds ,emeralds, cobalt and what not has already being drained.

AFRIKA IS SO RELIGIOUS AND YET SO POOR, DO THINK EVEN THE SO CALLED HOLY SPRIT DWELL IN POVERTY. FORGET ABOUT INHERITING THE KINGDOM OF GOD WORK ….GOD HAS GIVERN YOU THIS TIME AND PERIOD TO ENJOY YOUR LIFE DO THE BEST OUT OF IT…MUZADABWA NA VERSUS YANU….BESIDE THE ONLY COUNTRY IN AFRIKA MENTIONED IN THE BIBLE IS EGYPTY ,. WHY KUZIFAKAPO MANINGI IF YOU ARE NOT THERE DONT START CHIBULULU CHOLONDOLOLA NA YESU. YOU ARE NOT IN THE CIRCLE

  20. #32 makes sad reading. with all due respect kapena nika joke but boyi when all is said and done whats gonna happen to your soul? its not a matter of opinions! afterall they wont matter!

  21. # 30 The idea of praying for “Christian” unity really does sound good, but may not work. Well, you probably don’t agree with my last phrase. Let me therefore shade more light on that. Most of things we see happening today are prophetic. Because they are prophetic, they simply cannot be avoided. For instance the bible foretells that in the last days there shall be wars and food shortages (Matthew 24: 6, 7). We have seen these things happening before our very eyes and efforts have been made by well meaning world leaders to bring about a peaceful world, sad to say however, there efforts have not yielded any lasting benefits for you and I.

  22. Other than that, the bible also foretells that counterfeit Christians would abound in these last days, in fact, only a minority of those who would claim to be Christians would turn out to be true Christians. Perhaps you can think of some scriptures that form the basis of my statements. In case you can’t, well then consider the following; “For false christs and prophets would arise…” (Matthew 24:24). Who are the false prophets referred to here? Could it perhaps be those who don’t confess Christ? It is better to let the bible speak and it says “…False prophets that come to you in sheep’s clothing…”(Matthew 7:13) Yes these would come disguised, bearing the Christian label as it were, but they will not be true Christians, rather they will be counterfeit…

  23. No wonder then that Jesus prefixes what he says in that verse with “be on the watch…” Will these be a small number of people? No. how can this be? Well, remember Jesus said those who would find the narrow road leading off into life will be few, in contrast about those he will disown as outlaws he says ““Many” will say to me in that day…” clearly then most of what is called Christianity today, just isn’t. Paul echoed these words when talking about the last days (2 Tim 3:1, 5) “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men shall… have a form of godliness but deny its power.” That is very sobering isn’t it? And what the bible says is that one should do is simply to avoid such people.

  24. Would it be reasonable then to expect God to answer prayers that are out of harmony with his purposes?
Since it is impossible to bring about a universal change, does it mean one can’t ask for God’s direction and guidance to help them know the truth? Well, the answer is No. God invites each one of us, at individual level to get to know him. And he gives us this assurance “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” ( James 4:8) and “also And Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I perceive that God shows no partiality, but in every nation any one who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.” (Acts 10:34, 35). How though can one learn the truth about God in the midst of such confusion?

  25. The bible indicates that in the last days, true worship too will be firmly established and these will be united in one earth wide organization. . How can you find out what worship God approves?

  26. Submit to the Lord Jesus,ROM 10:9,accept Him as lord and savior of your life, spend time with Him 2TIMOTH3:16(read His CANON,bible)When you become like Him,you will talk like Him,and you will know the need and importance of going to India to reach out the lost with the gospel,(MATT 28:17..GO,)it will BE tragedy for Jesus on that Day (REV 20:12)to see the people He died for GO to Hell,Im PRAYING and PREPARING as im here in USA one day to GO to India for the sake of my bros/sis,because HE has already said GO.Its undebatable matter, settled in HEAVENLY COUNCEL,sealed by the commissioner 2 CORITH 1:21-22.
