  1. pic 13 is sad, zed police are always trying to show muscle with little schoolgirls but when it’s armed robbers they never show up. Whats an intelligence chief doing at a strike, collecting intelligence? Were the pics of RB before or after the operation, I don’t remember seeing him limping before

  2. PICS 15 and 16 ama suits similar.yakufola fye.And you tell civil servants that that they should show restraint when you yourselves get even bambas for free.Shame

  3. Indeed those cops ought to be ashamed of themselves being so physical with little girl. And the way they were loading them on the truck kwati ni ng’ombe!
For the first time RB looks really smart in a suit!

  4. very sad pics especially for tha man in pic#4, does it mean that the president cant see all this?, please RB save lives before their souls cry on you

  5. After the turmoil in those pictures from UTH and pupils being arrested , the pictures of Rupiah Banda laughing in South Africa are the final nail in the coffin. Rupiah Banda is not fit to be President. He has no clue on how to run a country.

  6. Hospital pictures are making me sad, it’s indeed very sad looking at these stranded people who cannot even afford to pay the more than K500,000 they are charging at some private hospitals, and then doctors follow suit, what is that student nurse going to help if the doctor isn’t around. Rupiah is busy eating free food and manzi in capetown, shape on on you satanists.

  7. does it have to get to this, caging minors in a track, sme one used for criminals, murderers, thieves. what a shame to me thats one of the waste scenes, even the so called police service should be ashamed of this unless they mere government machinery objects with no emotion.

  8. and there is another bored intelligence chief, what business is yours in the strike by nurses? your boss is being treated in SA, he ‘s safe, go look at our porous congo border

  9. Amazing how some people always find something negative to say about the president.

  10. Impressive pictures.

    Prevention is better than cure.

  11. Depressing pictures – On the other hand our President and Security Chief look very happy and fit – they must know something we do not

  12. LT, THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE FREE PIX OF THE SPIE CHIEF. HE’S NOLONGER ANONIMOUS. WE HAVE DOWNLOADED HIS IMAGES. HE COULD FEATURE WELL ON UTUBE.

  13. However, sad that such professionals are not paid well (in some cases not paid at all) while the so called president is rushed to SA for a simple operation. This country has gone to dogs, man! Or is it the dogs that have gone to the country?

  14. Richard Sakala hasnt been “aquitted” .He has just done finished his sentence. He was jailed/remanded in 2002 and this is 2009.the man has just done 7 years behind bars ,simple !

  15. Imwe ba Fred Mmembe choir, especially my fellow zambians in the diaspora, look at the nurses, in all honesty do they look like the picture of starvation in Somalia. I beg you. Don’t be used by Fred Mmembe to destroy the Zambian government. Mmembe wants a President who will forgive the US$3m debt from DBZ which he quaranteed for Zambian Airways. Rupiah refused to forgive the debt and as far as Mmembe is concerned Rupiah must be brought down. All of you including Sata, HH are just being used. There is a strike for teachers and nurses every year in Zambia. Efyo iya. A pay settlement will be struck and that will be the end.

  16. During one of the strikes at UTH, at the time of Chiluba and Sata, mortuary attendants brought a dead body and put it in the Director’s office. A strike by nurses and doctors is nothing new. They strikes have been there before and the current one is not the last. For those in the UK no need to tell you it is very common to have nurses strike.

  17. The government has a duty to maintain macro economic stability, especially at a time of global economic melt down. Financial discipline is very important. Margaret Thatcher weathered a strike for 12 months until she defeated the coal miners. So tekeni bola panshi na Mmembe wenu. Sata is just a tool for Mmembe because he can’t sell Peter Magande yet.

  18. As far as we are concerned in MMD we are waiting for Magande to come in the open. Then the proper dance will begin and Mmembe will show true colours on Sata. Ichintu chintu umwene.

  19. NKOLE WA MAPEMWE UMFWE IMILANDU, awe bane imilandu yena na mufwa, when it comes to problem solving awe lyakwa Namungwa.Rb started off by giving himself hefty perks and allowance, people ask for a descent salary ati awe you are being used.So apa RB ali muma allowances ayashupa sana from his gallivanting.we know he is planning another journey in no time.Imilandu mushumfwila kwisa kanshi?

  20. LT, do you know what “sun-bathing” is? I do not see anyone “sun-bathing” in any of your pictures. Zambian journalism is really something to marvel at!!!

  21. Imagine if all Zambians had to be given a pay rise! Nkole I agree with you. The trouble is these UPND cadres don`t listen and they never will. They make PF cadres look saints!

  22. Ok #38 Zedson, if you do keep record, you will remember that the Bill to increase salaries and allowances for Presido, VP, Ministers, Judges and other constitutional offices was already with Parliament when Levy left for Egypt. The salary increment was approved by Mwanawasa not Rupiah. Could Rupiah have withdrawn it. May be. But it vwas already agreed in Cabinet chaired by Levy. It was not an issue for the POst at that time. The heasers were imported during Levy’s time and Masebo says so. Let me tell you Fred Mmembe will never attack Levy even when he knows the dea was made by Levy. His enemy is Rupiah Banda.

  23. 37 and 42 NKOLE WA MAPEMBWE UMFWE MILANDU greetings. Long time and what a surprise on “As far as we are concerned in MMD we are waiting for Magande to come in the open. Then the proper dance will begin and Mmembe will show true colours on Sata. Ichintu chintu umwene.” and “Let me tell you Fred Mmembe will never attack Levy even when he knows the dea was made by Levy. His enemy is Rupiah Banda.“, I thought we were together in the forward hand. What is happening maybe I can also join in in the MMD as tricksters seem to be invading the forward hand?

  24. Peter wa Kulubemba, don’t worry about UPND. UPND is at NCC. Sata is expelling his own Members of Parliament and Councillors who are at NCC and then joining up with the UPND who are at NCC. The man has lost half his brain. The UPND know that HH can not be covered by the Post unless they are with Sata. So they have partnered with him. When the chips are down HH is an intelligent person. He knows if he joins Sata he will have to wait for 10 years to be President if Sata wins. If he joins Rupiah, he will only wait for 5 years. UPND have brains. They will know what to do at the right time.

  25. Reason I see the pact as a waste of time. The last person one would ever want to rule the country is Satana. I doubt he will sit and say ok HH you become president. It won`t happen. If HH says ok Mr Sata you rule for 5 years then it`s my turn-he is a goner. I am not worried about this pact. Won`t lose my sleep over it. I am more worried about what happens after RB finishes his term in 2016. Do we say he needs another five years or two?

  26. #43, Maestro, good to see yours at 43. Check mine at 44. I work with a lot of UPND people and I have the greatest respect for them as intellectuals and independent minds. I can’t see Hachipuka, Matongo, Chizyuka being treated the way Sata treats his subordinates in PF. I give you six months and you will also see that this one is a marriage of inconvinience.

    Kabilo wa mwenso tapwa milandu.

  27. #46 Ukwali insoke, takwafwile muntu. Let these UPND join with PF, they will regret they did it.

  28. #45, Peter wa Kulubemba, the Consttution is very clear, Article 35 (2) says that “Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Constitution or any other law, a person who has twice been as President shall not be elligible for re-election to that office.”
So Rupiah has been elected once in 2008. He can only stand one more time in 2011, then it is finished. So I know HH with his brains will make the right decision at the right time.

  29. 46 NKOLE WA MAPEMBWE UMFWE MILANDU thank you very much for everything. You are really a man, in fact my elder brother would say a man and half. However, your “I give you six months and you will also see that this one is a marriage of inconvinience” is too little. UPND needs more coverage in the POST until about June 2011.

I am just reflecting on President Obama’s “This last point is important because there are some who advocate for democracy only when they’re out of power. Once in power, they are ruthless in suppressing the rights of others,” excerpt from his speech in Egypt. Very soon, I might be with you in MMD if the Undereducate tricks my fellow wise southerners.

Have a blessed Sabbath and take care.

  30. A very sad state of affairs pa Zedi.

RB does not care about you Nurses, just go back to work. RB is busy Nursing his ‘sick’ knee in RSA. This is a criminal case… sick people being wheeled on those hard trolleys… pitful scenarios indeed.

  31. #51 Maestro, Very thoughtful indeed – the reflection on Obama’s Cairo speech. To buttress the point, when the nurses and Doctors went on strike during Chiluba’s time, I do not remember Sata being so sympathetic to the nurses. May be you do. Any way I would be extremely catious if Sata was following me with a panga in his hands. As it is Shalom Shalom!!!!!

  32. 55 NKOLE WA MAPEMBWE UMFWE MILANDU hhe hhe hhe, on “#51 Maestro, Very thoughtful indeed – the reflection on Obama’s Cairo speech. To buttress the point, when the nurses and Doctors went on strike during Chiluba’s time, I do not remember Sata being so sympathetic to the nurses. May be you do.” For sure I do not remember the Undereducate Sata being sympathetic or emphatheic to the Nurses and Doctors. In fact, the Undereducate fired them from employment and kickstarted the massive brain drain that has almost irreversibly affected Zambia.

I hope voters are careful with the way he is trying to cheat them now though last elections’ results are worrying.

Sober minds do not need to use excuses, but do what is necessary to be done.

  33. VIVA STRIKE . ministers are not more important than civil workers. Equall pay is what we want period. PLEASE CIVIL SERVANTS DONT GO BACK TO WORK UNTILLYOUR DEMANDS ARE MET. If you go back ala nkesa miloppla.

  34. Fellow Zambians, have you noticed that pictures #1, #2 and #14 have something in common. All those in these pictures have huge bellies, so big that they can’t button up their jackets. They are well fed, three square meals a day while the majority of Zambians are starving to death, what a SHAME.

  35. 1984 you will agree with me that that photo of RB with Rothschild is not appropriate for Zambia. That a the face of a man that eminates from a dubious family; might even be one major cause of the current recession and I leave it there. It is better doing business with ruthless China than with such Africa is a market within itself first trade with your own then other continental brothers simple.

  36. sad pictures and only those whose lives are not immersed in the blood of calvary can really want to divert the attention with there trickery political sentiments aimed at tribla promotion. People like meastro HAHAHAh whatever are as evil as the pharisees and their sabbath. this guy is foolish if not he is a member of Phiri as a shu shu. i have watched his steps he does not belong to HH. he is related to VJ so all you see is pretense. these pictures are very pathetic such that as i went through comments i expected people to reflect on the way forward. For sure Sata of all today is sympathetic how miuch more you sabbatrians? i even wonder if SDA is a church that promotes unity. From the likes of Maestro whatever, this church seems to be a divider and looking for enemies everywhere.

  37. Spying on striking workers, the head of state shamelessly seeking medical care in a foreign land, pupils rioting, police brutality. Zambian democracy at it’s best. Very sad.

  38. Ala ba kapokola tabakwata insoni ……baya ikata imisu shekashaka. Those girls are harmless and innocent . Police kwata amono.

  39. #10 The President does not care. He knows that in 2011, Zambians will have no choice but to vote for him.

  40. #59 CONUNDRUM
When you say othes are having 3 square meals while the majority Zambians are starving tell me when you where last in Zambia???? Some people work hard to be where they are but us Zambians we like pointing fingures we have very bad attitude towards hard work because we want to be rich quick. People need to change there attitude instead of statements that people make about others who are better off aspire the archiver more instead of being angree with those that have what you dont

  41. picture 4 so sad,how can they cary a patient like that, outside paka zuba.anyway thanx lt for the pics, soon am going home, just graduated so i see the situation back home especially in my home town lusaka.

  42. pic#1,2 is it not a breach of security to to the Zambian state expose Zambia’s top spy chief like that?

pic#15 Fundanga looks like he was suggesting to Prez RB in a non verbal way to “say yes” to anything rothchilds says. Rothchilds representatives the battle of idealogies of the west trying to stop the east from outsmarting them in Africa.

  43. We need a military gov’t in Zambia or a communist gov’t because democracy is not working. Just look at UTH, the finished old infrastructure no wonder even the President had to have his knee operation in a foreign country.

It is a shame that no one in gov’t takes development seriously. Gov’t should come up with a deal with medical personel asap, it is not right to have innocent people get caught in issues between gov’t and medical staff.

Corruption is what is killing zambia because with out this , our country would have a hospital at every corner of the country. What the country needs is a civil coup organised by the people.

A transitional gov’t must also be set up and all strategic assets must be re-nationalised!

  44. Interesting…Spy chief for what? I think with exposure some things become meaningless if applied in the Zambian context. The Red brick building needs serious auditing because Phiri just took off from where X Chungu left off. And am sure after looking at the mess around UTH he even called Banda that all was well and just go ahead with the surgery in a foreign country. These are the people who have failed us and failed Zambia. How the hell do we expect Munkobwe to do in government? It’s such a shame….!! Same old, brain dead retards eating whatever the colonial masters left over.

  45. #71 It is not about the type of government. It is about the type of people we are and have leading us. Can you imagine what RB would do if he were an unelected millitary or communist dictator? We would not be like Cuba, China or Augusto Pinoche’s Chile. Instead we would be like Congo DR – Infinitely worse than we are now. Democracy is much more than just a five yearly election. In some countries citizen have powers of recall. A constituency can call an election anytime and recall an MP from parliament if he or she is not performing. We need a better constitution.

  46. Workeres are on Strike pupils are rioting….i wonder… Hey GUYS lets not generalise that police are not doing there jobs. The thing is in the copperbelt the police are not doing there job, as we read or heard the other day people were killed there. POLICE in Kabwe are doing there work, there was a riot and they went there. BUT am wondering as to why pupils who were not on the scene of the strike have been apprehended. The area they got them is DEBS-for the ministry of Education. LT intresting pictures on these pictures i have even seen my friends.

  47. it is such a shame to see ba Bwezani laughing his way to RSA leaving the impoverished Zedian dying helplessly. We NEED URGENT change of gvt !!!!!!!!

  48. #61. I agree with you on hehe-whatever. The chap is just an !.d.!.o.t who does not take interest in Zambia becoming a country, again. Its only when you read articles such as his that you realise that Zambia is mainly full of !.d.!.o.t.s.

  49. SATA was only a minister of health when he upgraded the hospitals to recognizable standards. RB is a president, but he is already running away from domestic problems. WHAT A SHAME OF A PRESIDENT!!!
    BLESS PF/UPND PACT.

  50. #71…What work? snooping around to twist the truth? Folks grow up? The excesses these folks enjoy should be given to UTH and other struggling institutions to fix the mess.

  51. No matter how genuine the dispute, it is immoral and unethical for healthcare workers and doctors to refuse to attend to the sick and dying. This is blackmail and should be condemned in the strongest terms. If they are not satisfied with the pay, they should leave and seek the highest bidder for their services. South Africa, Botswana and other places far and wide may be willing to employ them. I have problems with people who strike. It is like a tomato seller wanting to be paid more but when he does not get his price, closes shop and goes home and lets his tomatoes rot instead. There is a law of supply and demand. If you are valuable, leave. The results of their actions is worse than brain drain.

  52. #82. Your tomato anology is nonsense. These people are providing services to earn a living. eg Pay rent , feed family and send children to school. How do you compare this with selling a product? Mwe ba mano

  53. Read next post.

    5. The only way to achieve his (Undereducate Sata’s) goals is to support the UPND where there are educated men who can challenge the MMD nicely.
    6. The “Between now and 2011, anything can happen to both the young and the old,” Mr Sata said is there to just let most PF cadres, who are tribalistic, to have time to accept president HH as he now gets publicity from the POST at full strength through the PACT. However, he thinks he can also trick the UPND should NCC and Parliament fail to succeed with the education qualifications clause in the New Republic of Zambia Constitution.

Thus, as things stand, president HH has been settled as a person who will lead the PACT in to the governing of Zambia, by God’s grace.

    __
    Prevention is better than…

  54. After gathering some data from Zambia, here is my analysis of the presidential candidate under PF-UPND PACT:

    1. The Undereducate has noted that MMD’s plan to block him for being a presidential candidate using educational qualifications in the wouldbe New Constitution have reached an advanced stage and needs to see someone win the 2011 presidential elections other than MMD.
    2. In PF especially among non rebel MPs, there is no one with a NATIONAL FOLLOWING THAT can challenge MMD.
    3. Only the UPND especially president HH has a following across the country and only needs some support in Copperbelt province to be able to win.
    4. The Undereducate Sata needs a position such as Vice President of Zambia atleast since the President one has been elusive to him in the past.

  55. 61 KING COBRA and 78/9 Peter>/b> continue confounding yourself as you are hostile to truth.

I have made it clear that I am a student sponsored by GRZ, and also I do not work for GRZ and I have never worked for GRZ.

I am fully for the PF-UPND PACT, but should they NGC of the PACT behave as if Zambia is a MONARCH, I am out to join the MMD’s candidate in terms of supporting him/her for 2011 elections to lead as President of Zambia for the next five years after that.

Have a blessed day and keep well.

  56. Rupiah Banda was born in Zimbabwe so what does that make him?someone tell me we Zambians are not stupid!!!or am i having a night-mare or is it deja-vu!!!!!!!

  57. Imwe ifi ma-Zambians! you are so stupid to allow a Zimbabwean to rule you!how can you be duped again!we are so shallow minded no stupid!we always want someone to take care of us!i will not be suprised if these fools want a white-man to rule, when a real Zambian comes up you cut them down(kill) how do you think RB feels when he looks at us,he must be saying ,gee these are fools, wait until he becomes like Mugabe,a dictator we will not even fart, forget about pacts, they can be destroyed with emergency rule, people want to behave as if we have matured as a country,we have a lomg ways to go people,we better wake-up,people have no love for you or your children’s future!!!!!!!!!!!!

  58. Those things in white dresses are not nurses
They must be fired. Takwaba whateva the grievance where a nurse can walk away and levae her patients.
I will convert my nationality and go help build the health system in Zambia
Will I get support? Cant we all go back with our skills but how much will we be paid?
    Big question

  59. Mulamba, just relax tekwaba ati nga afyalilwa ku Zim he becomes a South Rhodesian. Leave Bweza alone, he is my hero you won’t convince me
He is Zambian who knows maybe you have may have lost your Zed status yourself , sadly like me
