Teta advises Sata to stop cheap politics

The MMD Party has castigated Patriotic Front (PF) President Michael Sata for alleging that President Rupiah Banda has allowed his Ministers and the National Executive Committee (NEC) members to bring the name of the late President Levy Mwanawasa into disrepute.

MMD Information and Publicity Chairperson Benny Tetamashimba says the Party was not using the late Dr Mwanawasa’s name to win political mileage but that the Party was using late President Mwanawasa’s name to appreciate what he did to the incumbent President.

He said in a statement in Lusaka today, that the MMD Party will not keep aloof when the PF leader speaks things that he does not understand as President Banda had told his ministers and NEC members that his ascendancy to the presidency was because of late Dr. Mwanawasa who brought him from retirement.

Mr. Tetamashimba said he has no regrets to state that the people who worked under late President Mwanawasa’s regime were stealing and that they were involved in corrupt practices without Dr Mwanawasa’s knowledge adding that he saw nothing wrong to mention late President Mwanawasa’s name.[quote]

Mr. Tetamashimba was reacting to PF leader Michael Sata and Patrick Mwanawasa junior remarks that the MMD Party was using late Dr Mwanawasa’s name to bring him into disrepute.

He charged that Mr. Sata was not a right person to allege that President Banda has allowed his ministers and MMD NEC members to bring the name of the late President into disrepute as he, Mr. Sata, was only interested in using Dr Mwanawasa’s name to win a cheap political mileage.

Mr. Tetamashimba, who is also Local Government and Housing Minister, challenged the PF leader to state how many houses he got under the Avondale Housing Project if he was not corrupt.

He further advised Mr. Sata not to bring Patrick Mwanawasa junior into the firing range adding that people should not mislead Patrick Mwanawasa junior as President Banda has promised to do his level best to help the Mwanawasa’s family.

Mr. Tetamashimba has since advised Patrick Mwanawasa junior to go to the University so that he can be a shining example to future generations.

  1. I think both of them are politiking over LPMs name. Not healthy. You mean you chaps have nothing better to do? Thats what is disheartening about our politicians. Atase! Both of you have it wrong here. Disgusting, to say the least.

  2. If this “MMD Information and Publicity Chairperson Benny Tetamashimba says the Party was not using the late Dr Mwanawasa’s name to win political mileage but that the Party was using late President Mwanawasa’s name to appreciate what he did to the incumbent President” is the case, then stop using it as it is now enough.

All the best as you now outline your MMD plan to save the lives of Zambians who are suffering.

  3. Usually when intelligent people realise an allegation or assertion is cheap they ignore it and move on . Unfortunately Teta and his MMD lot are intellectually challenged and do not understand that by responding to so called cheap politics they are infact inflaming the fires of this so called cheap talk. So Teta why are you generating a debate over cheap politics?

  4. Ba Teta shipenifye yama, tell us the truth about LPM’s era. It looks as though there was glaring corruption and rampat stealing during this time and it’s like you are on leash, failing to open your mouth enough for us to asimilate the whole bulk of the truth. Spit it out in plain in english!

  5. Teta, I challenge you to tell us how many houses Sata falsely acquired from the named project!

If you want to appreciate to the Mwanawasa family what Mwanawasa did for you, do so with your own money, not govt money! You piece of sh…! Don’t appoint people into govt based on personal appreciation. That is called Corruption! RB, you clearly very corrupt! So how many people have you appreciated so far apart from Ms Mwanawasa and Dora ?.

  6. Aaaah!! So Mr Sata has had a huge problem with housing issues tefyo? I thought it was just Merzafgate scandal- surprisingly the Post have shelved that subject. Ooh, this manoo! Heeyy. To the subject, I am wondering why we even have to waste time talking about the Mwanawasa family. For sure LPM was an upright man, but that was him and not everyone who shares the sir name with him is. We have KK, whose children cannot match his political career because being a Kaunda has not made them to be Kenneth David Buchizya Kaunda. Whatever fears people have that if some Mwanawasa belongs to a particular party that party will gain popularity is not on at all. So both Mr Sata and the MMD should not be jittery because there has only been one “Chibumba” to straighten up the country & he is gone

  7. I think Teta Mashi is not normal. He is a psychiatric case who needs to be sectioned under the mental illness act. He is not even allowed to be in formal employment as a minister or MP. Please send this scumbag to Chainama east and section him.

  8. You all talk too much. These same politicians who talk too much are the ones cheapening the political scene.

  9. Teta Mulumo does not cease to amaze normal guys with his madness. How can he tell a boy who was studying in UK to go back to University so that he could become a shining example. The truth of the matter you do not appease pipo by bringing them into the political arena just because of the name. Those pipo if anything needed something more tangiable as a family coz we do not know exactly how the estate was administered. Drawing one family person in NEC is not enough, what benefits are there for a person like Eve, perhaps it would have made some sense by sending her Diplomatic service like Rose Zimba, Auntie Banda etc. Coz soon the MMD at the rate things are going may not be in power after 2011. Surely Teta should bbe touching on real issues affecting the welbeing of the pipo.

  10. Tetamalilo asamwa buti because his boss Nyama Soya is protecting him. Lolela mudala you will soon be trotting to the Magistrates Court for corruption charges after 2011

  11. Teta never ceases to amaze and could soon be added to the many wonders of the world. The chap is so petty to be a spokesperson for MMD. the chap is in govt and if he has evidence that Sata is corrupt why is he not reporting him to ACC, DEC or ZP? the MMD chaps have responded so speedily to SAta and Patrick just like their boss responded when his ‘special’ friend was cleared but have failed to respond with the same speed to strikes and other pressing national issues.

  12. “Mr. Tetamashimba said he has no regrets to state that the people who worked under late President Mwanawasa’s regime were stealing and that they were involved in corrupt practices without Dr Mwanawasa’s knowledge adding that he saw nothing wrong to mention late President Mwanawasa’s name” People read before you comment. I am not a fan of Teta, but he has a point. There was enormous corruption going on during Mwanawasa’s regime. It is a fact. Mwanawasa was no saint and Zed has always been corrupt regardless of who the leader was. Apparently it was worse under Mwanawasa. Disrepute, my foot!

  13. TETA WERE YOU NOT UNDER MWANAWASA YOURSELF??? IF YES YOU ARE JUST CALLING FOR INVESTIGATIONS UPON YOURSELF OOOOO…

  14. As much as i Deslike Teta i am afraid he has a point on Patrick i feel for the guy but he shouldnt be caught in the middle of these 2. At the end of the day he will come out the only looser. And also on the matter of Those that saved under Mwanawasa and corruption, i know for a fact that a number of them where not clean but LMP was not aware at times this is why we saw him trying to take on to much responsibilty. Trying to do everything by himself if anything the late got more stress from the people he ws working with than the opposition coz they stood for something they didnt believe but did it only to please the president and as such they should also be brought to book

  15. LT, dont you have a better picture of Temalilo? That one is too scary.. My son, maestro Jnr is screaming right now. Please do me a favour before he gets sick.

  16. Satana is the biggest foooool our country has ever had in history. Unfortunately he seem to be pulling the masses including some intellectuals. He makes issues out off nothing and dulllll chaps get attracted to that. I wonder very much when i see people following this dullll snake. My advice to Patrick is that it’s too early 4 him to enter heavyweights ring. Again to my fellow bloggers, i see nothing wrong in Teta’s response to attacks by from Pull of Folish people’s Party (PF).

  17. This man thinks with his mouth. He is forgeting that just recently he called for a probe in the7 year rule of the late President- He has been attributing all successes to RB and all failed/bad projects to Levy. Sata is not the only talking about your chameleon charecter. If you have honest relatives/friends, they should tell you what is being said all over the country. We know why you are advocating for defering of the MMD convention. You are not sure of the MMD members true mood. Mwana Teta one can see that you will also betray RB once he is out of office. Zambia is not yours and dont use tribal tactics in NWP.

  18. 1st Commander you are the fool yourself. Dont insult people who are saying the truth. Dont be fooled by tu ma dollar MMD is dishing out. Dont you read newspapers. This TETA of your has been insinuating that there was a lot of corruption in Levy’s govt and yet he was part of that govt. An honest man could have resigned then. But these chaps are like flies .

  19. #16 dalitso. Aleipwila umulilo pankasa just to keep his miserable job. Atase bane. Am upset to see even Levy’s relatives are not able to defend him. Ba Eve does no see the smear campain going on by this ungrateful MMD.

  20. Teta has not adjusted well to his ARVs treatment regime. My advice big man is to take things easy, these are just politics. You will die and leave your family suffering.Wee chipuba wee!!!

  21. Are there any PF reps in RSA…someone kindly avail me with their contact details. nangu ba upnd since we now partners

  22. #26 Deja Vu
Put resigning aside and be smart about the issue at hand, Teta claims there was a lot of corruption in Levy’s time of which he was part of. He did not resign which in my opinion actually says ok Mr Teta we will start with you, we welcom your idea. But instead people are already lefting there guard. If he is pretending to be clean it will come out so why should we shoot him down for a good suggetion just because we had a clean president

  23. Ba Mwishi Teta your head has some nuts missing. Surely of all things you call King Cobra’s comments as cheap politiking. I wonder if you are going to survive in that position after tomorrow’s press conference or you may simply coz you feel you are KING MAKER. This time around we amke sure next elections 2011 we decampaign as MP for Solwezi Central. You are accusing others of wrong doing are your hands clean, N/Western Cooperatiave Union, those trucks and houses what happened. How did you acquire Mansa Milling. Where did you get the cash? We shall see you next time its just a matter of time. The Katele’s though appearing in court were men who used their brains who worked tirelessly to convience IMF & World Bank. Just last year u used to insult Dr. Chiluba today he stands innoncent in ur…

  24. #30 CIA- I have no quarrel with your opinion. But look at this way: A wife of 10 years is divorced. At the court she starts shouting at the man that he wets his bed. What would you say to that? If people were not accusing the current GVT of corruption this BEN TETAMASHIMBA would not have said what he is saying. Today Dora is a heroine, but when thigs change I expect this gentleman to tell us more on DORAGATE. Mark this day.

  25. # 29, we are there for the opposition. Since real opposition now narrows to UPND/PF pact.

Why not you availing us your details and we will talk?

  26. # 33 Deja Vu
I understand where you are coming from but the example is a little extreme in that Teta has not devorced (fired) from LMP but rather there work in grz was cut short by his death. No one should think or say that Teta is clean until he is also gone through the court process or tribunal or dec or acc which ever agency. He might just be talking a lot to make people think he is clean.
I for one believe that LMP did a lot of work he was hard working but the people around him took advantage when people thought there was no corruption being exposed because all the cases where already in court others saw this as opportunity. Dont forget old habits die hard and there was 10 years of it under FTJ.

  27. # 26 Deja Vu thank you very much for your cheap analysis of everything i said. Look, govt is not like a small family of yours, ok. It is possible that things could happen n pipo can steal without u noticing until after sometime due to vastness of the arrangement. Ask yoself, where was DEC, ACC or ZP when stealing was going on. Unlike u who can’t even appreciate the truth at least Teta has given out, i do appreciate what he said to a larger extent; 1- Patrick has been advised to keep away from elephant’s fight (to u it’s a wrong thing) 2- the man (Teta) has agreed there was corruption in LPM’s regime which he may be learning about now with facts. So, all this to u is rubbish except insults, right! U n me come frm different family backgrnds n 4 me i was taught to apprcte efforts frm…

  28. yaba… ndipo mudala uyu Teta .. each time he opens his mouth nothing good comes out apart from licking Bwebwe’s ass

  29. Imwee Ba Commander on # 26 You are saying that
    1. Satana is the biggest foooool our country has ever had in history.
You are forgetting that one can never observe the other as a fool unless he himself is another foooooooooooL!!!

  30. Kabili mwatila 2. Unfortunately he seems to be pulling the masses including some intellectuals. He makes issues out off nothing and dulllll chaps get attracted to that.
Iweee commander!!! Are you sure Sata was saying something from his old head, and are you telling me that all the bloggers who have commented positively on the sentiment of Mr Sata are Dull Chaps? You must first ask yourself a question, amongst all the blogger given space here, are you the most intelligent one?. Iwee uichindike saana ai! Tawa twishiba. Katwishi ngani chalo nshi wabako. You are an economic refugee and you are talking like that about people who have endured the pain of being ridiculed for speaking the truth about real issues.

  31. Kabili mwatila 3. My advice to Patrick is that it’s too early 4 him to enter heavyweights ring.
Patrick has stated seeing something wrong with people like Tetamalilo and he does not see age in taking part. Muli mbutishi imwee ikaleni fye. That young man is back home to contribut to the growth of our nation and you are there telling him to stay away from politics. Why are you still in spora.

  32. #37 1st COMMANDER- Man you are like an ostrich with his head in the sand. TETA knew who were corrupt and what they illegally took from GVT but kept quiet. Thats my boney of contention. If he was an honest and truthful individual he could have gone to Levy and say” Mr President I dont like whats going on in your gvt, so am quitting.” Forget about ACC etc and the size of gvt being bigger than my family. Teta saw these things otherwise he is just hallucinating in order to keep his miserable job. For you info I have never been a fan of Levy but I will defend any dead man who is being used as scape goat. All my life I have stood for truth. FTJ is my “relative” and has assisted us at funerals but the moment I discovered the wrong doings I distanced my self from him and joined FDD.

  33. 4. Again to my fellow bloggers, i see nothing wrong in Teta’s response to attacks by from Pull of Folish people’s Party (PF).
I personaly see something very wrong with you ba commander. Bushe nibu commander bwa mu refugee camp nangu mu Nganda? Landa bwino! I hope you are not one of those who have declared themselves as refugees, but one thing I know for sure is that you are an economic refugee.

  34. …other pipo because they also matter in society. Sorry for exponsing your cheap analysis on this whole issue. U need to start understanding the gest of stories pipo tell by taking a bit of time reflecting on it. Keep your temperature down n don’t accuse me of cheap dollars. I wish u knew how wealthy i am. But anyway, i like you even though your analysis is weak.

  35. #44 Ba commander. Ikaleni nechuma chenu. Na Kapoko had money. I wont say much since you said you liked me etc

  36. Having gone through all the comments on this topic, am sad to announce that 1st commander and CIA are not thinking with their heads!

  37. #43 mwanawasa died in france and not in zambia .was he a health refuge or what .dont be quick to answer .think and thinkk hard .banda was recently being treated in south africa .health refuge or what .pa zed fyalipena mudala .you must travel to understand why it not worth it to sacrifice when it is not necessary .
#29 mudala tusangwa mu collet drive in bramley -pazed bar .ufwile wa feature ,not necessarily poltics but social .ubwali nefishimu etc.cry africa ,cry mother zambia .we need at least not the leadership of tenta .we need a state of immergency to look at these people who have taken the people for granted for too long

  38. I advice all those attacking my side of story to read what Patrick has been advised to do by the late President’s sisters and other family members. It appears some of u r losing yo zambian traditions so fast.

  39. please fellow bloggers help me! Who is that bloke pictured next to tetamashimba? To me he looks like “fugitive” Katele Kalumba,he is the one?

  40. #54, You got it. Katele is no longer fugitive. He has found a home in RB’s govt. The two persons in picture have many things in common!

  41. Iwe Commander, ufumine kwisa? Be realistic in your commenting. may i propose that if you have nothing sensible to say, you should take a nap!!

  42. I like to keep an open mind and not inflamed by political loyalties since I have none. But what ever you may say about Tetamashimba, the fact is that he is one of the longest serving MPs in our Parliament. He wins elections which I can not say for many of you. Winning elections is not easy but I expect Teta will still be in the next Parliament in 2011. What do you think,? without hatred.

  43. Nkole wa fimo fimo, Good analysis. Though you couldask next time without being cynical about it. Remember that winning an election over and over again does not make you a nice person…coz even fools can vote! No hatred, just facts. Teta like it or not is really getting on peoples nerves and talking crap of late. He will solely carry the responsibility of having lost the 2011 election for RB. Katele Kalumba (true Blue) asked him to “take his madness elsewhere!”. Coming from Katele, that should tell you something. Again, no hatred…and am not even MMD!

  44. 22 Mrs.Habupampu (Maestro) greetings. It is nice that you are taking good care of meastro jnr as indicated in your “My son, maestro Jnr is screaming right now. Please do me a favour before he gets sick.” Certainly, LT must help here so that the family is well.

As for “He said in a statement in Lusaka today, that the MMD Party will not keep aloof when the PF leader speaks things that he does not understand as President Banda had told his ministers and NEC members that his ascendancy to the presidency was because of late Dr. Mwanawasa who brought him from retirement“, this is very nice confession from both Minister Teta. and President RB Banda. Such “call[ing] a spade a spade” is rare in Zambia.
    __
    Prevention is better than cure.

  45. On “Mr. Tetamashimba, who is also Local Government and Housing Minister, challenged the PF leader to state how many houses he got under the Avondale Housing Project if he was not corrupt“, just take honourable, PF selfappointed leader, Sata MC (Grade 2/6, unknown) to court for corruption instead of giving us half truths on here Minister Teta.. Time to treat some Zambians as untouchables must end while threats must end, but honesty in discharging duties and integrity in disposition must be the order of the day.
    __
    Prevention is better than cure.

  46. Lets call a spade a spade. Patrick Mwanawasa Jr is just a scape-goat. This is coming straight from Ba Lady Maureen Mwanawasa’s MMCI. You can tell that Maureen and the ex-inlaws if I may put it are not in good books. Why has she remained quiet when the “son” is being attacked, knowing of course the step mumship that exists. And how come this Mwanawasa family are so desperate in joining a movement despite all the controvesy surrounding the successor of Levy that we saw before the elections. It’s not even a year since Ba Levy died and this family pact is just interested in MMD trustee etc, shame bane. Pansaka tapabula chipuba, Teta is just that person, mushifundwa (unteachable).

  47. #49
    CIAO
Thank you after all he is but human
I note with sdness everytime i come to thiis site how some people always argue with so much emotion that they forget to look at matters rationaly. I feel some people just comment on issues for pass time which is ok coz some actually make my day with there joking but serious matters Digitals Smoke some times looks like he is here to piss people of but when the topic at hand is a serious one you can tell when he is being serious. Some people are so narrow minded that they have blind loyalty. I am not always supporting government nor the opposition but regardless of the person that raises the issue its important you look at the bigger picture which is beyond your screen LOL

  48. Cursed hypocritical Zambians on the ground and in blogobogio are the same low-grade politicking losers who lampooned Levy. Though focused on Chiluba, Levy did not run a heavenly GRZ to be immune. Just when did you become defenders of Levy you lived insulting, cursing, accusing, framing, cabbaging and mocking since his political adoption way into his ICU only to be saint in his casket? Isn’t this the cabbage you kept insulting that the MMD waked up from slumber and worked hard transforming from a cabbage into an electoral winner? Isn’t this the cabbage you insulted those that built his image and political posture over?

  49. In all Zambian blogs since 2001 had never seen these false idols here other than one or two loyal and steadfast activists that fended Levy’s reign passionately reaping every lampooning you were doing. These are the same people who secretly secured some of hated and lampooned Mwanawasa’s kids into Diaspora school slots. When did it become wrong to look into the vices of an administration of those who have left us? Don’t we learn from precedence world over that investigations and judgments have been passed in some instances Posthumously or its Zambian myopia here at best?

  50. # 50 Ba Red Lipstick Mulishani bakaamba. Eka Kadoli katapa aka kene bakaamba ayini. Kalafwaya ukumonekelako pa net. kabili kubwendo twikala tafimonaika. Uyu commander bakaamba mulemumona shani. Alelanda at he is filthy rich? and yet he is just one of those kolokofyaz who found thier way out of Zed. I think he went out to sought for asylum where ever he is.

  51. Interesting is that despite our daily halloobos here year after year, these MMD who picks from obscurity, molds and wins them the Presidency. Here we are foolishly arousing non-rewarded emotions when MMD chaps are in overdrive 2011 victory trail. Will these blogs make votes into ballot boxes? As for the Mwanawasa, it’s clear the family of three wives and late’s family is in altercation. The question is with all the dirty linen she carries; can Maureen fight the camp aligning with state machines in her political quest? If she can, for how long and how much will be roasted to the benefit of manipulative GRZ hands? Young Patrick better be smart in balancing to limit own damage.

  52. As long as appointments will continnue beng made in a fashion as if Zambia is a monarchy, our beloved country will not develop. Unfortunately, it appears this way of recognising families is how President RB Banda operates – unless he disproves me tomorrow and in future.

One case in reference point is that appointment of some woman as Depotuy Finance Minister from some old UNIP family. I am watching as more campaign material for 2011 elections to hit them MMD hard keeps coming from the MMD to me and the opposition.

Keep well brothermen and sister women.

Somewhere in you commentry leads me to think that what if UNPDPF pact where actually considering using maureen??? Am only thinking out loud mwintuka !!!!

  54. SATA very interesting fellow with his exaggerated, over-rated, ballooned, rowdy bunch of disgruntled supporters. The circus entourage he prefers to ride along has ever been an amusing one, quite unlike any other. He himself ever plays the clown dressed in lingerie fit for a ritual dancer and performer yet his head ever uncovered as though to announce that his facial ugliness is the default enduring mask, of course with the desired effect, which a performer will never ever discard in session – a live mask fit for the purpose. His acts are as spectacular as can be, next to nothing I have ever seen, a circus show unmatched.

Those who suppose that this masked man could our President must surely be living on another planet. If ever this one became a President of a country, it is not Zambia…

  55. If somebody speaks sence, these PFs never listen. They will only listen their own -SATA. As mad as Sata is, they will listen to him.

  56. Most of what is SATA’s ‘magnetism’, for lack of a better word, can all be explained in terms of Psychology. The clandestine use of direct victimization, both real and imaginary, promise to reward supporters and outright mendacious rhetoric also plays a role to woe support. This explains the surprise small fraction of a people who despite a good share of exposure and some level of education will still show among his ranks. A good section, especially at party leadership level, are simply outright opportunists hoping to reap from his ‘hype and charisma’. These especially know that SATA is an outright entertainer but still hope that their bet would yield results. The rest are simply typical kaponyas who join the fray for free beer and chibuku. The large turn outs at PF rallies is…

  57. Then there is this open banditry of SATA. During the course of the last Presidential election campaigns, it is an open secret that PF went about soliciting for money from companies and individuals promising protection or repercussions. Many fell victim to this mafia style, illegal fund raising gimmick. And like the victims of the mafia, fear of repercussion was the reason for complicity. These are honest facts which many victims could easily testify about except for fear of the unknown. As in the Mafia run states, we too can learn that only open, unintimidated resistance is our only guaranteed protection against persecution of these hoodlums.

  58. We know that he(sata) has Vitumwa. We know that whilst Vitumwa could assist in giving temporal gratification, this none the less can prove fatal. Mad men have grafted their ilombas right into their bodies. In his case, one around the heart and one in each leg for that extra kick. But this is dunderhead mentality and when the time comes to give up the spirit, the vitumwa will run berserk, refusing to let go, this in the presence of friends, relatives and foes.

  59. The only thing outstanding about SATA now is his insatiable appetite for power. He cares more and more about himself than anything. Hamas will surely completely by pass him even if they were left with him alone for a suicide mission.

  60. But on the other hand, I have found it utterly amazing to see how just the opposite is true of insincere men. It is utterly risky and dangerous to hear the whisperings of the dying insincere men. Their words are like the last straw of chance to gain self. I know men who like me are in their afternoon of their lives who yet are so determined to grab more than could be buried with them. SATA surely, leave and let live. He wants to exemplify his whole life by leaving a daunting legacy.

  61. Have there been a people as divisive and rebellious as these (PF)? Nay. They hate themselves as much as they are prepared to fight and maim each other. Just a few days ago, they beat up so savagely and later hijacked their own people, all this done in the cruelest and basest of ways in full view of the public. This is normal amongst them. A culture of the crudest scoundrels, thought only to belong to the primitive peoples of the Dark ages. Alas we have our own in our midst in this day and age! Yet and I repeat yet the so called freedom rights advocates and defenders of truth operating as the POST are their firm allies. Talk about hypocrisy and double standards, there has never been such as this.

  62. These thugs, who determine to be a law unto themselves, must not be allowed to decapitate our laws and values at will. They must be brought to book. Their leaders (pf) must unequivocally condemn the actions of these thugs and disassociate themselves from these despicable acts, unless of course if, they themselves are the master minds – This is vain, as I know that their leaders are in fact the chief perpetrators of mayhem.

  63. Soon after brutalizing their fellows, their father (SATA) is calling for their release from where ever they have allegedly being kidnapped and held. I thought this is quite amazing. This guy is unashamedly the chief of all thugs. But then even hyenas care for their own.

  64. Ba Anonymous nabafulwa such emotional hatred for the poor man wont take us anywhere because even those that dont support your leader will talk in the same way in the end no compromise

  65. Teta just goes to show that his boss is also a joker . Just because he worships RB, Rb cant do anything about this pea brained humanoid. How can you have such a character if governement was serious with what it is doing??

  66. teta just shut up ur too loud mouthed as if ur not a man. why shud u attack yo friend for having acquired the houses in the Chiluba? Can u also tell the nation how u aquired Mansa Milling u r selfish no wonder you betrayed yo former party

  67. Patrick should indeed take advantage of free education at his discretion to avoid the misery of Chilufya Sata and Castro Chiluba.US based MMD loyalists did organise the boy entry into the US education system only to drop out for no reason.

Careful with Micheal Sata he has no record or priority of educating children but using them in doomed political rhetoric.

Mr.Tetamashimba who is also Local Government minister says President Rupiah Banda has been concerned about Patrick not going into university.

He appealed to people close to Patrick to let him know that education is the key to his prosperity.

  68. teta Sata doesn’t need your advice. While you need a lot of it with your boss rb. Who are you kabolala to advise President Sata. Just shut up if you never had any parental lessons.

  69. I wonder if Teta has experienced any form of tertiary education. The thing he says seem to said from without base. Why should he go to the media to inform Patrict of go to university? Would it be normal for Teta to tell his own children through the electronic and print media to go university?

  70. 101 Pundit greetings. On your “Careful with Micheal Sata he has no record or priority of educating children but using them in doomed political rhetoric“, this is why I am skeptical about electing PF Leader Sata MC (Sub B/Standard 4, unknown) as he has no personal formal school better than what has been given near his name in this posting including any success in educating his children though some claim there was one at UNZA. This analysis is same for HP’s B. Gen G. Miyanda.

How can a person or persons that failed in their families to take most of their children to school manage too take the whole Nation to school?

I hope the leadership of president HH in the PF-UPND PACT will be received well by all Zambians who cried tribalism.

  71. More garbage from Mr. Toilet himself. From now own when I mention Mr. Toilet, I mean Teta.

  72. All you lesbians and homos who have showered unprintables at Teta should bear one thing in mind.at the end of his term in parliament.he will go back and scoop the solwezi central seat cooly and nicely.and just like sata, teta also has got a loud mouth
But to his credit he is not violent.so he is a loud mouthed harmless guy.young patrick is being used unfortunately.so as much as he has every right to comment on people attacking his father.he should tread on those lines carefuly or else he’ll end up the loser because once the mwanawasa stories stops grabbing the headlines and stop selling in the papers he’ll be dumped.

  73. cheap politics indeed, so what has RB done which LPM was doing? which projects have they continued with. i thought compains should be based on issues of national development. Why capitalize on the name of the dead?
please let not selfishness surpass dignity like that. Respect the family and late themenjoy the peace they are going through right now.

why cant these guys find developmental issues to convince the voters.
Teta dont lead pipo to lose respect for late Mwanawasa bacause of your incompetence. if u got nothing to offer let other pipo with fresh ideas help u develop the country.

A challenge to all bloggers, we everyday complain bout this and that, when is the young generation of our age going to unite and chak these greed Teta/Rb out office. its this blogger generation we ne

  74. we need to run the nation. our diaspora exposure, zambian experiences is what is needed in zambia now. the continued condermination of these pipo who dare not take any advise will never yeild in anything atleast not anytime soon.

    think bout this.

  75. 100 Tax Payer greetings. On “awe need to run the nation. our diaspora exposure, zambian experiences is what is needed in zambia now. the continued condermination of these pipo who dare not take any advise will never yeild in anything atleast not anytime soon.“, all the very best but when are you going home to position yourself?

Let us not continue throwing stones from afar, but join in in the real fight with good convincing words only, as opposed to being taken along by insulting old recycled politicians at home.

  76. #95 Iwe ci Anony waba akalito!e ubunono. Next time you want to vomit on here, make sure you have balls. Matako yobe. Kaili if you were near ngana kutinta akabwamba.

  77. Mr. Tetamashimba, who is also Local Government and Housing Minister, challenged the PF leader to state how many houses he got under the Avondale Housing Project if he was not corrupt.

Mmmmm…..Mr. Sata, reveal. How many houses did you get. Can the ACC jump on this case. Also, what happened to the case where Mr. Sata was suing Mr. Teta for Libel? Could it be what Mr. Teta was saying is true??

  78. #116 Free-Market-Economist, I am really surprised as well. I thought the man was just connected to the Merzaf scandal which his buddies the Post have chosen not to talk about anymore. May be that is what his supporters refer to as him being a hardworker – “housophilia”. You know, I am now appreciating KK’s approach to politics. He must know a lot about this man (Sata) but as a father, he has chosen not to say much about him even when the man usurps credit from him on things like fly-over bridge and others which people accolade him with.

  79. With Teta, one wonders whether the stoogery and foolishness oozing out of him everyday is an act of endowment from god or the chap is simply on drugs, or both! Further, for a minister with all the benefits, he just looks damn dirty.

  80. Imwe guys ba LT.why are you blocking me from responding to ka MUKULUMPE ?lekeni omfweko ifyo taumfwapo. Naipompa

  81. “Mr. Tetamashimba said he has no regrets to state that the people who worked under late President Mwanawasa’s regime were stealing and that they were involved in corrupt practices without Dr Mwanawasa’s knowledge adding that he saw nothing wrong to mention late President Mwanawasa’s name.” What I’d like to know is: 1. When did Tetamashimba know about these crimes? 2. What did he do about it? Otherwise I am left with no option but to conclude that if he kept quiet and did nothing and waited until Mwanawasa died, then he is more than likely doing the same now. He knows of the corruption going on in Banda’s government but has no guts to say so to his face for fear of losing his job!!

  82. iMWE MWE BANTU ARE YOU SURE TETA HAS ALL THE FREEDOM TO UNLEASH ALL THAT CRAP??? KANSHI NINSHI FILECHITIKA MUCHALO CHESU??

  83. Anonymous, am no supporter for sata, but your insults man are just too. this blog is read by the young and old, and if i may ask you, what have you gained out of your insults on this blog? your insults just shows your incapbiity to handle simple issues like this one at hand. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  84. With due respect, ANONYMOUS, I will say that you are not fit to be part of this site. This area is meant for idea sharing and level headed debates. Accept that BEN TETAMASHIMBA is shooting himself in the foot. He has served under Mr Mwanawasa from the time he defected from UPND and during that time he was ready to stake his very life for LPM and never did ever make reference to the thefts he is now “revealing.” And neither did ever say even for once that Mr FTJ Chiluba was innocent, which statement he has been making of late. It was “Mwanawasa is the best President Zambia etc..” I hope RB is seeing through this axis of evil of Ronnie Mulongoti Mpombo and Teta.

  85. Dejavu
Is that so? My problem is this, how can a criminal advise on moral matters? How can SATA advise on anything moral with his reputatation?

  86. Dejavu
You honestly cant separate the issues from the personality of the issuer. You simply overlook the serious moral imbalances of SATA. You cant see my point I guess.

  87. Talk about what happened just a few days ago. His thugs beat up savagely their own. Has SATA condemned these acts? Yet he has audacity to advise on moral issues. This is hypocricy of the highest order which I am not prepared to tolerate neither should any right thinking Zambian. How do you reconcile such parodoxes?

  88. PLEASE IF YOU DONT LIKE ME…….THEN VOTE FOR KAPOKO IN 2011. HE HAS ALL MY BLESSING. SATA THE VETRAN THIEF, PANGAMAN AND MEZAFGATE GENIUS

  89. #Anonymous. You are the one mixing things. By the way if SATA had commited any crime LPM could have nailed him. You remember that he failed the car theft case fail to stick? Please if you are connected to someone let that not blind you. I told yesterday that inspite of FTJ being my village mate I cannot forgive for what he has done to MMD and Zambia. Mind you he even assists us but that that cannot make me support what he says and does. On a sad note-what has come out of that 2.5bK paid by Kansanshi Mine to Splwezi Municipal Council in land Rates?

  90. 134 Deja Vu greetings. On your “By the way if SATA had commited any crime LPM could have nailed him. You remember that he failed the car theft case fail to stick?“, please just know that the late (former) President Mwanawasa LP’s coruption fight was only directed at former President Chiluba FTJ while other people were overlooked.

This is why I am asking the current MMD GRZ to take all corruption cases like the one Minister Teta. has mentioned about Merzaf flats/houses to court.

Once we stop this current selective fight against corruption, Zambia will begin to make progress.

Thus, let us wait for Sata’s taking Minister Teta. to court case for now.

    Have a blessed day.

  91. #135 HABUPAMPU- You also remember that SATA was incarcerated for months at Chimbokaila only to be released with no case to answer. SEE RIGHT NOW TETA IS NOT TALKING AGAINST DORA SILIYA, NOW ARE GOING TO BELIEVE HIM WHEN HE STARTS REVEALING ON DORAGATE AFTER RB IS NO LONGER PRESIDENT? This what is paining me.People behaving like timid house wives who dont report their husbands who sleep with their small dughters. IF HE HAS TO TALK ABOUT CURRENT CORRUPTION HE SHOULD DO IT NOW. LOSING A POLITICAL JOB ON MORAL GROUNDS IS BETTER THAN KEEPING THAT JOB IN IMMORALITY. THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE AND I MEAN STRAIGHT AND FULL TRUTH WITHOUT AGENDAS AND STRINGS

  92. 136 Deja Vu thanks, but your IF HE HAS TO TALK ABOUT CURRENT CORRUPTION HE SHOULD DO IT NOW. LOSING A POLITICAL JOB ON MORAL GROUNDS IS BETTER THAN KEEPING THAT JOB IN IMMORALITY. THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE AND I MEAN STRAIGHT AND FULL TRUTH WITHOUT AGENDAS AND STRINGS is why I do not trust honourable PF selfappointed leader Sata MC (Grade 2/6) since he did not resign on moral grounds under Chiluba Admnistration like late LP Mwanawasa did.

Could you please assist me on this one failure? As for “#135 HABUPAMPU- You also remember that SATA was incarcerated for months at Chimbokaila only to be released with no case to answer“, how many months did Sata (Grade 2/6) spend in prison and what were the charges. Please, be specific. I’m waiting.

  93. #138 HABAPUMPU(MAESTRO)- THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE. MC was accused by Mwanawasa of stealing a HONDA ACCORD property of GRZ and was detained without bail for almost 3months(Zambian law motor theft is unbailed- law concoted by FTJ to fix one McTriboy)

  94. FTJ was not in parliament to enact the law that made motor vehicle theft a non bailable offence.this cause was championed by sata that’s why when it backfired on him his current mentors THE POST reminded him.those who follow parliamentary debates will attest-to this.

  95. #141 Akapondo. You dont know how Parliament operates in Zambia so you can not comment on this issue. Just to show you a bit of it. The MPs are called to state house for a caucus where they instructed by the President on what to do in Parliament, so FTJ cannot be exenorated.
