Henry Kapoko’s wife Mary Mwamba has been arrested along with her sister Christabel Kalimu for forgery.

Mr. Kapoko is at the centre of the K27 billion scam at the Ministry of Health.

His wife Mary and sister in-law Christable were arrested on Wednesday.

On unknown dates but between April 1 2008 and January 13 2009, Mary with intent to deceive or defraud while acting together with other unknown persons did forge a grade 12 statement of results.

The statement of results was purported to have been genuinely issued by the Examination Council of Zambia-ECZ

It was also purported to have been obtained at Lusaka West School.

During the same period, Christable also forged a grade 12 statement of results.

The statement of results was purported to have been issued genuinely by the Examination Council of Zambia-ECZ and obtained at Naboye High School.

Why not requesting the grade 12 certificate instead of statement of results as April 2008 to Jan 2009 certificates are already out? Waste of time taking the matter to court. Elections are rigged all the time. Even in churches you have to bribe some elders to be elected as head of a congregation. It is the culture of the country. can anyone tell the institution not affected by corruption? It is the lifeblood of this country. Without it the country will grind to a sudden halt. Businessess have to pay bribes to obtain contracts. With corruption you can do everything in Zambia. It is a damned country. Titus Mpundu ( whom you know very well) forged a 1971 Chiwala Secondary School form 2 certificate belonging to Fredrick Chiluba and got himself a job at Atlas Copco (Z) Limited and in the process acquired himself the name Fredrick Chiluba without deedpol. What did you(ZP) do about it?? The man went on to become a leading Trade Unionist in Zambia and further went on to become Second Replican President and stole from the people of Zed.What did you (ZP) do about it inspite of the fact that KK mentioned the subject during political campaigns in 1991??

    What is on the statement of resullts?isn’t it what comes to reflect on the certificate? So who is fooling who?accept one thing and it will help you.the world over,money can buy anything.but when money stops flowing everything crumbles.same applies to mrs kapoko and is it kapoko’s sister.somebody did that job for them and a third party or probably a close family member knew about it.when kapokowas around oiling everyone it wasn’t blown out.but now there is no honey so there is no more sweet for those who kept the secret and probably there were a few jelous people who knew about it and with kapoko’s family’s now vulnerable somebody leaked it.maybe even a close associate.

    The best GRZ can do is to start paying its workers well, take home addresses of people seriously and record all issues relating to birth and death of all Zambians accurately.

    As of now, I seriously doubt all statistics in Zambia. Sadly the bad record keeping and statistical items could even be the ones reflecting our being number 13 th poorest Nation in a 177 total ranked list of Nations.

    Very sad.

I think, all that is needed to be done toavoid such activities or incidences is to enact a law that all collegesand universities across Zambia must be using only results Grade 7, 9, 12 and equivalent documents; college certiicate and diplomas; university certificates, diplomas and degrees obtained directly from the from the ECZ, equivalent to ECZ bodies, actual colleges and universities as things are one in USA to avoid cheating.

  57. Having the above written, I would like to challenge new Minister of Education Ms Dora Siliya to take up this matter of putting measures that will clean up corruption in Zambian people and office bearers in our private and public educational institutios.
    With the above suggested changes, using new laws, of how we currently do things, job creation can be done to a small extent while Ms Minister Dora Siliya can leave a great legacy at the Ministryof Education after her dented image with the Dora Siliya ZAMTEL SAGA — as such moves would deter corrupt practices which are not desireable in Zambia now and in future. They had to find a way to break the husband and this is one of them. She unfortunately has a forged document now with her arrest unless he doesn’t love her he will start talking in order to save her and the baby. He has to reveal the bigger people behind his deals.

  110. Forging pa Zed is like normal life now. Go to Matero township you can get any certificate that you want starting from Degrees, driving licences, title deeds, white books and name it all. The situation is quite bad and I dont know if the government will be able to control this scam.

Well thanks for that seemingly honest report.

    As for “… watsup with “take careful care”…” it is just meant to remind you that you must always be careful about what you do and the characters around you’s activities. Make sure you track all suscipious and unsuspicious characters that may be after your life and this is only possible by God’s help.

    To now in Zambia WE CAN and all those concerned/interested, I was unanimously voted to give the valediction oration on the 31st August 2009 to the space community after winning the second round of election.

    This was a very rare election and has given me confidence that people do care and see the capabilities that I have following the nomination by a Canadian friend and later an Indian friend also under a heavily contested poll.

    All this has been by God’s grace and I now He will help me end everything nicely in that oratory speech.

  156. Education certificates are not a good measure for how competent people can be at doing tasks. I for one am against the ideology of a four walled classroom where you are told 1+1 = 2. They send you home after a month you have an exam wats 1+1=? that is can you remember not really education. Education is about creativity so people lets get creative for bad creativity though. Just make sure its within the law.

Permamnet Secretary is the controlling Officer in terms of payments etc. We can’t have a situation of some citizens being untouchable in this day and age in our Country. Please let the law take its course. What is happening to our law enforncing orgs, where are heading as a Country with selective justice, God help us.
