  1. Some of these traditions of topless dancers should be done away with, what purpose or benefit does it serve to carry lued acts in honour of some sick old man who wanted to see adolescent tittays thats probably turned to dust by now.

  2. Rabish. Can we please stop things that dont improve people’s lives in anyway!!!! Can those girls just concentrate on school rather than parading naked for RB?

  3. isnt that the porn that they are charging that post girl with? its the same thing.people can powa just by looking at those pics with ama vele.. but i have to say those breasts are soggy..

  4. isnt that the porn that they are charging that post girl with? its the same thing.people can powa just by looking at those pics with ama vele.. but i have to say those mavele are soggy..

  5. That outfit chief Gawa is wearing looks neither traditional nor authenticallly African, did he borrow it from his muslim counterparts?

The Engreesh on that bag in pic #8 is insanely unbeatable. Lol.

  6. Walai mune, ala tekanya na vocabulary yobe, ati powa, boob jobs, eh? Ba LT bala cita censor ama pics yatumabele nombaline.
Anyways mwandi those girls provide a fairly good filed of study on why you shouldn’t ignore African virgins from the village.

  7. Before I continue to type and comment on the pictures, there is a pot on LT on homosexuality that has bothered my concious. Especially that some Zambians are even thinking it is okay for such. Please educate yourself about who God is and why he created us. I feel pain about this new generation we have because the see even strange to be normal.

  8. I shall be moderated today, because I am on one. Firstly why why why should we disrespect our women and parade their n.a.k.e.dness as such. please do not give me that tradition answer, then whgy do the men not go walking around luno.

  9. What kind of a message is on the bag in picture 8 ,i cant make it the meaning is it a result of less days on the school desk or the creation of undis comedian

  10. Nine Chale I asked my cousins when I was in Mongu the exact same question. Where are Zambians that are proud to be just that Africans. That is one thing God blessed us with at creation, we were made in his own image to express diverse virtues and talents, why do you think there are different gifts of the Holy Spirit for every believer?

  11. Ba L.T., The woman in pic# 9 is clenching/clutching her daughter’s hand… it is very clear that this child is a girl…. kanshi chaba shani ba L.T?????

  12. Picture 8 and 9 mamama the engrish is bad, cant beat that! Ba LT you will be in court jst now for circulating p.o.r.n, no wonder RB was eager, from reed dance to that awe shuwa! But on a serious note aint virgins supposed to have firmer bobbies than that. The one with the big ones looks likes has breastfed b4 and going strong!
    OK pictures though..

*how do u censor b.r.e.a.s.t.f.e.d LT? censor the boobies!

  14. When women are paraded naked like that nishi its traditional but let a woman wear ‘westernised’ cloths nishi its immoral. I dont understand these double standards. So if i go out dressed in a chitege mini and matching low cut top it will be deemed decent cus am keeping it traditional? What a load of BS

  15. How many paramount chiefs are in easten province. the chief must be seen wearing his traditional dress if tradition can be respected, any way let us slowly turn from these traditions which demean our women in the name of traditions,, women need to be respected every where

  16. Take the same picture of those girls at UTH and it will be deemed pornography. Take the same pictures at Kulamba ceremony, its tradition. Some sickening double standards chachine mwe!

  17. I now see why RB went for the “Curamba Celemon”, more bare chests and boobs and bossoms and breasts and t!ts and nipples for all to see.

  18. I now see why RB went for the “Curamba Celemon”, more bare chests and boobs and bossoms and b r e a s t s and t!ts and nipples for all to see.

  19. AMAFACTS…….
I NOW KNOW WHY RB GRACED THE CEREMONY,
AYA MA FACTS AYA, AYA MA FACTS…..
RB ana mabele, ni door na door frame.

  20. You are wrong, there arent many girls this time. In Kaunda days plenty girls would parade the same way, but ba mdala was blind kuli tuna mabele. Thats part of the tradition, have you ever been to the swazi ceremony? I tell you if you are a wicked minded person you need to have some tena pads.

  21. Kofi Olomide is performing in Kinshasa with the Quarte-Latin (those topless dancers in his videos)…….and RB has gone there……hahaaaa.

  22. Lame tradition. It kind of demeans our women……………..some of these customs were engineered in those days when men used to treat and relate to women as sheer objects, for satifying their sexual needs and bearing kids.I think we should try to look at these traditons, once more…………………some of them dont deserve to be celebrated.

  23. Vizungu….Ati “I, was buy This bag on Gwamba celemon. When it buy”. RB nao Ati ” kanitundila on the tree when sitting talk to press the under the tree conference monkey” Chipata busy!!! Awesure !

  24. Kulamba WOW! what a great ceremony, Hey EASTERNS lets keep this traditional with respect. Let our GOD bless, our great GAWA.

  25. To the best of my knowledge, “Gule wa Mkulu” is not for women. This is the first time I have heard of a female Nyau dancer – someone guide me!

  26. hmmm these tunacisungu amabele ubukulu as if someone has been doing touch touch to them!!! I thought breasts of a nacisungu should be utwantutu like pan cakes or the top part of a cone icecream from McDonalds???

  27. So should the LT editor face charges for publishing pornographic material. RB should be working on making Zambian lives better than wasting time at ceremonies. That is why his counterparts did not show because the had something better to do like improve peoples lives. I agree with you # 4 (Dido) this is rubbish those girls should be in school. The look like they are too young to be parading the chest in public.

  28. NO# 39 YOU ARE RIGHT…..WOMEN ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DANCE NYAU ….. ITS ACTUALLY A MAN DRESSED AS A WOMAN ….THE NYAU IS KNOWN AS ” MARIA” ….OTHER TYPES INCLUDE MAKANJA , NYALA ETC

  29. There is nothing wrong with women showing their breasts. Pornography depends on the context and being topless is not in itself pornographic. People need to loose the hang ups about bodies that were brought to us by prudish victorian missionaries. The debate as to what is traditional dress or not is a vexing one. The misisi out fit which is seen by many as ‘traditional’ to Western province is actually based on European dress of the late 19th century. Even the siziba worn by Lozi men is based on the scottish kilt. The first vitenges were imported into Africa from Malaysia and then were made in factories in Manchester in the North of England so how ‘traditional’ are they?

  30. Baulekeni baletulangako intweno………pantu intweno tashimoneka moneka but I think these ones tetunacisungu pantu ama ntwenokane yakulu

  31. Is there a dietician in our army and airforce. Our Defence force boses are over fed and it is not professional. just look at pic 1 and compare between the US and our own

  32. Too many people commenting on this thread grew up kumayadi, in Mutendere Lusaka, these initiation ceremony dances where common place, and am told it has carried on till today.. so no big deal. Now the homosexual thread, I was equally saddened by the many pro homo comments that were posted. People in the diaspora we are compromised morally, But to Zambian and homosexual i must admit was a shocker. People stay with me here in the diaspora dont go back to Zed and ruin the young ones morals …Naka nebo Nakulu.

  33. Romantic Monk… Those americans as the picture illustration says, are taking pictures of RB, that is what they are doing there

  34. US troops on Zambian soil and in Chipata! This lends some credence to the story that Zambia was used for extraordinary rendition.

  35. Zambian is one African nation that has got unique dances done by females and the greates drum players which you can never find anywhere in the world. This treditional cultural dance art is unique to Zambia and its diverse tribes. Sad not even the Zambian tourism board knows that. Please embrence your traditional cultures. Because thats the only difference between Africa and the western world. And despite our many economical failures but this one thing is what curiously brings people from other “worlds” to us. Be wise

  36. #2 am sure you meant ‘lewd’ and not ‘lued’ and #10 these girls should continued being overlooked. They are backward and unpolished. Am sure you wouldn’t want to entertain yourself with one of these girls. Mind you, even a fool has breasts.

  37. niggers niggers niggers, u think by denying ya tradition u gona become more white. shame on you all. our african traditions must be preserved at all cost. aint nothing wrong with those chicks showing them nice boobs with them dark nipples and a ka flat stomach. thats Gelo wa pa zed.

  38. Beats me why we must parade girlz bare breasted in the name of tradition in this time and age. The girls would still be initiates if they were decently dressed.

  39. What were American soldiers doing on Zambian soil? To get pics of RB and take them to Obama? Did they come with airforce 1 and landed at Chipata Int’l Airport?

  40. Am still laughing on ” 2009 I, was buy this bag on Curamba Celemon when it is buy”. This woman…… Anyway she has tried her English. English is not our mother tongue but she could have written it in her own language.

  41. How did LT know it was a female dancer? These guys/ladies are always disguised. What did they see to tell it was a woman. in fact am told you cant know by name who is dancing. It is taboo.

  42. Pic #2, I can’t believe that in Zambia today people still risk their lives by being transported in this manner. Will this ever stop? It’s all summed up in #17. As for the girls dancing barebreasted it is really disgusting just like the strip and belly dances here in England. They lower the diginity of humanity.

  43. LT, It is ridiculous for you to censor the word ‘breast’ on my London Eye blogg when you have printed bare breasts so many times in your pictures. It doesn’t make sense, it’s hypocricy.

  44. i like the protocol by the guard who blocked state security officers am sure in his heart he just said (baba sichizathekha bwelelani chaba)

  45. LT well done, especially that bag and the English ha nice pix too.Ba major too much fats and check with those Americans soldiers there are classic and watching what they eat.
The only question i have is what are those Americans doing that end?
Ba Paramount chief Gawa Undi niba doni, is also a yo guy, hes huge and in wrong clothes all together

  46. #51, Bana KBBK, are you trying to say that RB is now a tourist or military attraction for those americans to be taking photos of him. I meant to ask, what are they doing on Zambian soil in full combat gear.

  47. What were those yankees doing in Chipata? Do they want to establish an Air Base or were just part of the advance party. Let us be careful with those chaps you never. It could be one who had just bin on tour of duty to Iraq or Afganstan and are under stress. Keep the Yankees away from our country side.

  48. Just want to say your article is as surprising. The clarity to your submit is just spectacular and i can suppose you are a professional on this subject. Well with your permission let me to grasp your feed to stay updated with approaching post. Thanks one million and please keep up the gratifying work.
