  1. Yes, I agree with these results, LT keep it up! Please show these results to MMD politicians to make amends. Stay well, forward 2010.

  2. yep @ 1. we know that they spend all time looking at these questionaires. The veteran must be working in some MMD or non governmental organisation…Pfew!!!

  3. Thank you LT. It has been a wonderful year. You opened the way, you really innovated and now others are following. You are the best fora that allows freedom of expression, even though sometimes you go too far with your ****, which people circumvent anyway by mis-spelling words. I personally do not mind if people want to make a fool of themselves with vulgarity, because we hear that everyday. But, overall, you have excelled. Now even baPost have a comments section and soon (dreams) the Times and Daily Mail will have comments sections!!!!(wishful thinking!). I trust that the knowledge shared here, has advanced Zambia.

  4. Nine cograts for the winning the award, we were behind your back budy, i wish president RB and his MMD folks would see this results, how honestly a president could be award worst politician of the year?
Vetran and MMD chief bootlicker whats your say?

  5. How many bloggers did actually participate in your survey LT ,numbers not just percentages will give us clue as to how much influence is having on Zambians around the .Shame to note that Fred confusionist is man of the year ,for what bloggers? And her Chansa also.Let us be serious sometimes in your analysis.Anyway these results have no impact on my father in the village who votes for the right party MMD.

  6. @1 & 3:

Congrats to you for being such good stewards of your time. But what, in the good name of time management, are you doing on this blog wasting your time commenting, hah, hah, hah, hah!!! Funny, isn’t it??

Anyway on a serious note, congrats to LT for your well meaning efforts in providing this free fora for everybody and anybody to air their views. You are truly beating your competition Zambia, hands down. Looking forward to more innovations from you guys in the coming year. All in whole, it has been a blast visiting your site so far. Wish you all the best in 2010.

  7. I don’t personally agree with some of the results but …. I can’t trach LT for whe bloggers decided. Pipo, be positive for once this is 2010, some of these things done for you for free. Have you done anything positive for Zambia? Some pipo will never stop complaining. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you news for free. Happy 2010

  8. To all you negative and “nay Sayers”, why don’t you start your own blogs and conduct your own so called “serious/honest” surveys. Let us see how well that works out for you. Simply aiming your cheap shots at LT who are at least trying to innovate does not cut it in my book!!!

  9. Congrats Henry ,I enjoy your articles keep it up and enjoy 2010, as much as i look forward to enjoying it .Nine Charle thumbs up too.For RB I was very confident that he would scoop that award.-This year you should mind those monkeys because this time they will not urinate but s.h.i.t on you.
    Apeee New YEEEEEEEEEEE all BLOGGERS

  10. Congratulations to all the winners ..Good presentation of the data as well..!
Just 1 surprise result here….. ZESCO was voted 2nd best govt controlled institution,.. and that is just unbelievable.

  11. But LT why did you asign me that flag. Why have you taggedme? I am in the UK and if i blog at home you show the proper flag……I think i might have won ‘most tracked blogger’ because this happens even when i change my screen name.

  12. I feel honored, not by LT, but you my fellow bloggers to have even nominated me. My best regards to you all and please enjoy this new year happily. Congratulations Nine Chale. God bless your soul. Keep on networking. One day this blog will help change and reshape our great nation, Zambia.

  13. I totally agree with this results. Congratulations Nine Chale. The worst Presido is the best out come of the worst out come. Its true Chansa is the Woman of the year. These results should be sent to the governement so that they can analyse their performance.

  14. I don’t ever comment on LT but today I have to. Obviously, Kyambelesa won his award due to FREQUENCY and QUANTITY. Let us differentiate between QUANTITY and QUALITY. Otherwise I think that person Chilekwa Mumba deserves the LT Contribution Award because of his QUALITY with his articles, This man/woman has only written 3 articles which I have seen and reread all the time and I always wonder who he or she is because of the intelligence and candor of his/her style. That Judiciary article should win an award by itself. Otherwise keep it up LT

  15. Congrats to Nine Chale.I enjoy reading your comments. I agree with Regular reader about Kyambalesa but hey if there was an award for favorite Zambian meal Nshima would win because of the Frequency and Quantity Zambians consume it and not its quality! To the LT team you are absolutely fabulous. You exhibit world class standards.I never thought anything of quality would come out of Zambia.Whatever time of day I come online LT is always there. To the bloggers who keep me entertained especially when I’m home sick thumbs up to you too.HAPPY NEW YEAR

  16. Happy new year to all my Zambians brothers and sisters but dont forget that being Zambian is the best thing that can ever happen to anybody!

  17. This is interesting indeed For Kalushya Bwalya to beat RB, FTJ and Dr Rodger Chongwe COMBINED is something. I guess they don’t call him Great Galu for nothing. Congratulation Mr Kalushya Bwalya for coming in Third. I don’t know whether to say well done, but happy new year to all soccer fans out there.

  18. Congrants nine chale, Fred M`membe, Henry Kyambalesa and Chansa Kabwela.
Can you imagine RB being worst politician or personality of the year? Its a pity! i hope RB sees these results so he can improve.

  19. Politician of the year Mutati and Milupi hats off guys you did you best. If they was the award for the most inteligent and dull MP,MInister who could it be?

  20. Mhhh.. congrats to all winners. RB please you have to change this year so that you win a best politician award. HAPI NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL !!!!!!!!!

  21. but chankalipa,Fi LT muli fya ma favour.i deserved the $50 voucher.imagine even RB beating me in some instances.nkesa vundula

  22. Dear bloggers wishing you all happy new year, the beginging of new season means, new resolutions, new objectives with possible goals, remember those around you, thank those who matched 2009 with you, forgive and forget, genuine love and laughter, pray and repent, above all learn from your mistakes you made in 2009. HAPPY VISIONARY 2010 TO ALL OF YOU.

  23. Happy new year 2010 to all! Well, I’m so humbled about my nomination that I cant even find the right words… while some are already bashing us for allegedly “wasting time” on LT, for me, its more of a passion for my country Zambia. To be able to comment on issues at home more than 1000 miles away from home is a privilledge that I will always cherish. So in short, I was only doing the thing that I love to do and if something good came out of it then that’s the best news I can ever get. Many, many thanks to ALL bloggers!
Furthermore, I wish the entire Lusaka Times crew and everyone else all the best for 2010, above all good health because if you can’t breathe nothing else matters. So goodbye 2009 and hello 2010, goodbye past dreams and welcome new ones.

    Long live Mother Zambia!

  24. Congrats Nine Chale, you have really been consistent and thoughtfull except on Kabwela`s issues you almost went on a wrong path. Congratulations bakalamba, you deserve the award.

  25. NINE CHALE,
Congratulations nangu nachinkalipa.ba LT bama favour.am filing an injuction but still more happy 2010

  26. Nine chale, am dissappointed with you,How dare you call LT blogging as an achievement, get a life bro, convert the same amount of time into work, remember what dr chibamba said last time.

  27. some niggas are like kids, flashin plastic tools, unaware of the most-year dynastic rule, what stupid!
Without a doubt, it’s in the heart where the best darts were written.Sittin at the window of the grand old earths,Youths thirst for knowledge, I teach but hold heat,Cuz some savage niggas are lost beyond reach

  28. AM JUS TRIPPING LOL….CONGRATULATIONS ..ALL THE WINNERs you kept the blog alive.HAPPY NEW YEAR.NINE CHALE CONGRATULATIONS FOR YOUR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS KEEP IT UP.THE REST OF ALL WHO NEVER MADE IT HARD LUCK,AS FOR ME,**** ALL WHO NOMINATED ME,WITH NO REMORSE **** YOU AGAIN

  29. #38 Ghost Dog thanks a lot. I think that depending on the nature of your job, it is always possible to combine productivity and blogging. It is called multi-tasking.

#32 Zimandola point taken. I know what you mean.

Nkhani, Nurse, Mariak, Kangachepe and everyone else – Thank you all for your well wishes!

  30. I think these results are fair and a true reflection of the MMD governance. I 100% agree that Bandas has been a worst politician Zambia has even seen. On the biggest rip off. Kapoko is not included

  31. Yeah congrats to all winners and I hope losers can learn from this that they need to improve massively in 2010 especially Lupiya and his stooges.. LT, thanks for the freedom of speech though u sometimes lose it…. All the best this year and hope there could be economic justice so that everybody can benefit not just plunderers.

  32. The results are the true reflection of the events of last year. I totally agree with them. We can learn one or to things from them. keep it up LT.

  33. Congrats Nine Chale. However, we need more transparency and explanation on how this poll was conducted. What about me? Veteran, Capitalist and MMD chief bootlicker who incidentally is one person told me thay also nominated me…….

  34. What is this now? Is this how far you have sank in shit? People who put comments here are only about 20. But they make 20 comments each on one story and you think you are popular? Infact even yuor results prove that. I challenge you to put the actual number of people who voted on each category instead of hiding in categories. You will discover that its not more than ten on each category.

  35. “#52 Maaayo” – What is your point? No one stopped any other from nominating any person or category. Actual numbers will NOT alter results if you put numbers instead of %?, LT have digested the numbers and make it easier to present and read the results. You have to respect the results regardless of how many voted. Actual numbers are besides the point, unless LT are cliaming that half the population of Zamnbia took part in the survey and I don’t see that anywhere.

You can visit FACEBOOK (tab below) and see how many of us are fans and friends of LT. or you can google LT or use Alexa.com and see some stats for your self.

  36. Nine Chale, nali pa cuti ku mushi – kwa ahe! Kanshi no blogging! Mudala tuleakanafye icilambu pakati. Congrats we ndume!

LT, thanks for the analysis. Thought provoking.

  37. Rubbish! Nine Chale is one of the mods. He used to post under Maestro He he he. A lot of posts on here are done by very few people so this is rubbish. Unless those people who have no clue about computers this is tosh. Ba LT don`t think we are all mugs.

  38. #56 Jane whatever… you must be new to LT.I am one of the many bloggers who found Maestro irritating and he certainly isn’t Nine Chale. You can tell from writing style and flags.Nine is a breath of fresh air while Maestro….lets just say there is a village that has its Id.i.ot back! You sound bitter with LT does your ex boyfriend work there?

  39. #56 Although I have ignored your insults in the past, and though I am fully prepared for the malicious glee that comes along with such awards, I deem it necessary to finally put an end to your baseless allegations. If you however insist that I am Meastro, I cant stop you.

To quote a saying “Those who can – do. Those who cant – criticize”. To those with award or no award, skill or no skill, anger or glee, I wish we would not take these awards too seriously. It does not require tactical oversight to win a blogging award. Just pure luck on my part. Last year it was someone else, this year its me, next year it might be you, so there’s no need for feelings of frustration. Let us enjoy life and laughter while we can because death and sorrow are just as real in 2010 as they were last year.

  40. Congratulations Nine Chale and thank you LT. This is a very informative and educative site and moreover it really has an impact on many issues. I just hate insults.

  41. If these results are not enough to convince Veteran, MMDMovement for Mandrax Dealers Boot Licker, the I dont know what can. #63 Blogging does not mean one is a loafer. Some of these guys run their companies and blogging from their offices.

  42. LT missed out on whether you are on MMD payroll! Although I must say, you allow even the most vile comments to be posted. Best 2010!

  43. # 62 wats wrong with you?some pipo suprise me alot?Ghost Dog please deal with this chap calling himself “Jane fimofimo” please Ghost Dog attack this konto!

  44. You know thus significantly relating to this matter, produced me personally imagine it from so many numerous angles. Its like men and women aren’t fascinated unless it’s one thing to accomplish with Lady gaga! Your individual stuffs excellent. At all times deal with it up!
