Msiska To Decide On Starting Fwayo

Share

Lucky Msiska said he will decide tomorrow on whether to start Swiss-based striker Fwayo Tembo who is en route to Lusaka for the All-Africa Games qualifier against Zimbabwe Under-23.

Zambia and Zimbabwe Under-23 sides clash at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka in a preliminary round first leg qualifier.

Msiska said Fwayo of FC Basel was currently in transit to Lusaka and expected to arrive at 21:00 Friday evening.

“I will personally go to the airport to pick him up and we will then assess tomorrow morning whether he will start or not but I can assure you he is coming and on the way,” Msiska said today.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe coach Friday Phiri is set to join his charges in Zambia today after staying behind to sort out his travel documentation in Harare.

They were fears that Phiri might not travel because of a pass port delay but the coach has now secured his travel document.

  1. As long as there players from Nchanga Rangers then the team is good and the coach knows how to coach. Bravooooooooo

  2. Msiska is incompetent,

He is wanting to be the manager of the national team

Msiska go away to belgium, zambia dont want your cause

You probably suffering in beligium and you come to zabia as though you are this good a manager. Stop making noise and do the job, if not LEAVE, all zambians on this site are tired of you

    Thanks

  3. I equally have no faith in Msiska, guy has no coaching experience not even a high school.Patrick Phiri is the best Zambian coach that has ever been.

  4. Msiska can do the job provided we give him all the support. Everyone is a manager in their field. The problem is that we want white coaches who have failed us before.

  5. For now, anything national team football iz not there, until the cacophony at Footbal House iz sorted out. That’s how come, Bonetti/Msiska move pararell, 4-0 on New Year’z day, Bonetti iz never here… Why not “beg” FIFA allow us to put our FAZ in order now and not in March?

  6. who ever can deliver good results is a good coach! dont develop tempers, Msiska is damn good just give him support! atleast he is better than yo italian Bonette..malabishi yeka yeka!

    Go Zambia Go

come tomorrow Zambia will coquer the hunger striken MugabemeniaZimbabwe

  7. It’s now time for the Zambian to take up the role of National Team Coach…..go Msiska go & all the best to the Young Chipolopolo

  8. I’m yet to see his results, but I like him for the fact that he is able to speak his mind even if it attracts media vuvuzelas. That, brothers and sisters, is what good coaches like Patrick Phiri and Chicken George Lwandamina or even Bamfuchile (MHSRIP) never did.

  9. Msiska can deliever win o lose 2moro.He has good xposure frm Europe. He has done the best to plough back into Zed sokka. We will ever stand with him.All the best

  10. Though most of the names in our squad are not well known, I have confidence in Msiska that he can deliver tomorrow. I like his independent state of mind. He’s proving that he’s not a push-over & I think the selection of this team is free from bias. Good luck boys!!!

  11. What do need you dogs.Olways complaining. We bring in a foreigners you complain,We give you all own you complain. To hell and our ass then.

  12. # 5 iwe ka Mushota go and play with your ka bean, if you are on heat, then this is not the place to get satisfaction.

  13. are these the same all Africa games that Zambia was supposed to host but choose to give them up?
i can not believe they even let Zambia participate !!! shameful!

  14. ba mushota if you have nothing sensible to say just shut up tatwamimwenemo ati abakubasungu tabalandilepo lelo, tebonse abamano.we have tried the rest they have failed us,why not give msiska a chance

  15. # 19 honest,
Bauze (edit: Tell us) You know, much like being lukewarm! Sometimes we should learn to stick to what we believe in, yes. If we want a foreigner we swallow the Bonetti pill, if not then we win or lose with the man who taught muchofe to the original Brazilian Denilson (not this Arsenal lad). So, yes spot on pal…

  16. Fwayo should start, after Zambia 3-0 Zimbabwe in first half then he can be substituted for the sensational Chakwa Lungu. Ku kabe imingalato zoowona, ni selako.

  17. Mushota is disgusting. First she/he fails to see that Msiska personally picking up the player is motivating and creates a good bond between player and coach which how great coaches have won trophies—-when your players are willing to die for you, ask Mourinho! Secondly Mushota Msiska has not failed anything he has just started so I don’t know what the **** you’re talking about. Thirdly it’s up to us to give Zambian sons opportunities and grounds to build experience, rather than foreigners. Patrick Phiri is where he is today because of the success he achieved in Zambia and so did Ben Bamfuchile (MHSRIP). It’s not my nature to attack fellow bloggers but Mushota made me sick to the stomach.

  18. It pisses me when I come across pipo who look down on the poor, Mushota sounds as such. Whenever I see pictures of people living poorly anywhere in the world and especially back home in Zambia, my heart bleeds and goes to them. Coz life is not supposed to be that way. It’s those times that I feel let me sacrifice and return home to help build a better country for the future, but to people like Mushota suffering is a laughing matter! And from experience its relatively poor and middle class people that like bringing up the topic of wealth coz that’s what preoccupies their minds, I bet Mushota is falls somewhere in this category. This bitch has pissed me mwe…spoilt my day, ****in biachi.

  20. looking at the team we have, just throw in fwayo in the mix ,moreover what have we to lose since losing has become our middle name with the current faz exec elyo ba msiska u used to land a day before the game in your days and played why now waste the boys time by “checking him out”?, bare in mind when u r good u r good full stop! all the best coz u surely need it!
