Ex Zamsure Star Joel Kabemba Dies

Share

Ex Zamsure goal machine Joel Kambemba is dead.

According to local media reports, Kambemba died on Friday at his home in Mtendere compound in Lusaka after a short illness.

The DR Congo born striker was one of the most feared and prolific players in the league during his time at Zamsure from the time he joined “Tamanga” in 1998 until they were demoted in 2002.

Zamsure “Tamanga” never returned to top flight football and were eventually disbanded three seasons ago.

Kabemba was until the time of his death coaching Division 1 South club Lusaka Tigers and also had a previous stint as assistant coach at Lusaka Dynamos.

Burial arrangements have yet to be announced.
