  1. Does anyone know which website has up-to-date results. I have been to the ECZ website but it does not have the latest results. How can diasporans follow the results of the beloved nation

    • That’s a good one! We Arsenal fans have got used to losing with diginity – not sure for how long though. Hope PF supporters will do the same.

  2. More people voted this year. Lets wait and see.

  3. Its a shame that elections held yesterday can’t have results on the table. Do you expect people who worked the whole night to continue working all day today? How many errors will they make in such a prolonged vote counting process? This is shameful indeed and I think this is how rigging is done – wait for them to fall asleep! Even if standing or in pain or in whatever situation, a person sleeps!!!!

  4. This story came out long time ago before I even had my lunch which has fully been digested and I’m even hungry again! We need new data PLEASE!!!

  5. Viva Sata….Viva PF…….. People its not PF or Sata annoucing early leads….. its your MMD people so when you rig you have a lot to say am sure bad thigs about Sata….. But sorry this time its not like before….. VIVA NEW GOVT….VIVA PF… VIVA Sata

  6. any way abantu nga balanda ninshi balanda, who am i to dispute.so if bwana sata i have never adnired you as a leader post chiluba, should you scoop it nkasumina and i`ll congratulate you.in the mean time tulolele what will come from mmd strongholds.

  7. Ok, I hope you win (actually more hope that Banda and the MMD are kicked to the curb) but can we have better picture for the future president please !!??

  8. Looking at results that were coming from some constituents across the country showed that PF leader Micheal Sata was leading by huge margin heading for victory. So far he has scooped presidential votes in Lusaka, copperbelt, Luapula, Northern and Rupiah Banda leading in Eastern and central while HH leading southern and western. Meanwhile all 3 main contenders are sharing sustantial amount of votes in northwestern province. source QFRM live radio updates. victory is certain for Sata

  9. MMD just accept defeat wapya munzi, this time it will be difficaulty to manupulate. Sata is leading by 70% in most cast ballots. pipo have the information. just tell the people the truth why hiding, you just bring problems.

  10. GOOD START. HOPE THERE WONT BE A REPEAT OF WHAT HAPPNED IN 2006, THE UNEXPLAINABLE COME BACK. THIS TIME, WE ARE WATCHING FROM THE ANGLES

  11. Though mystified by whatever it is that makes Michael Sata so popular among his followers, I must admit that the man has proved to be a heavy weight in Zambian politics. He deserves respect, even from his opponents.

  12. Just a word of caution MMD and PF supporters. There are posts of results by both supporters. I strongly caution against getting carried away as these results may just turn out to be wishes. Let us wait for official announcements by ECZ. For me only the official results count.

  13. He always takes early lead because of Lusaka Nd the Copperbelt. But wait until all rural votes come in. Then the results land scape will change.

  14. So far results are expected the only improvement is that this time more people voted so the gaps are wider. I hope in MMD strongholds PF will perform fairly well otherwise it will be the same story all over again. PF needs to give HH a pat on the back UPND has performed very well in Western province curtailing MMD’s advantage.

  15. Zambia has taken 50 steps backwards by voting for Kaponyas in govt again. Anyway, the Chinese will go and the lazy bembas will start stealing your heads of cattle while Zimbabwean soldiers will come and mine your copper. You the hard working Zambians will be cleaning his shoes and driving him around as he goes about beating your women and demolishing houses to repay the Afghans to grow hashishi and opium. Your democracy is based on an ignorant electorate and now you have elected an illiterate in the 21st century. Curse on you Zambians!!!

    • With all due respect, who gave you the authority to curse Zambians? Are you a prophet of doom? Just hold your peace and watch the frontiers of democracy unfolding. What is to be must be… no matter what you and I say.

  16. The Pact would have won the election. Am afraid its going to be repeat of 2008 with a lot of retirements this time

  17. #11 Kunta-Kunte fimofimo – taufwile CHIKALA SHAME ON U,TULETEKA MWAICE,YR RB KU FARM,YOU CAN GO AND HELP HIM CLEAN PIGS…OHH SORRY I FORGOT,BUT HIS FARM WILL NOW BE LOCATED IN CHIMBOKAILA…WAWA KONTO IWE MULEKWATA AMANO WE TOLD U.

  18. Dont worry being ahead dont mean you already there…MMD is the deal no question am saying this coz its the only thing that is closest to the vision….unless we are stupid. its more less like laugh now cry later type of situation for the Sata HDD……

  19. .
PF have maximised from their stronghold Lusaka , Copperbelt & Luapula. Its a reflection from last election. Also managed to double in some areas of Copperbelt & Luapula. MMD & UPND is expected to pick up from the rest of constituents. Its long way to go from all the list below…..

  24. Official verified ECZ results show that 133 constituencies out of a total of 150 have been officially declared:
Sata: 786,854; RB: 645,521; HH: 332,821. There’re only 17 constituences remaining to be declared. Make your own judgement but it’s clear MC Sata is the new republican President of Zambia.

  25. Sata will loose as all results from the list by  Independent Observer above come in. I thought he would have been ahead by 350,000 by this time. So this is a repeat of 2008. RB will this year pick votes from Southern Province because the south has been voting for UPND  MP’s while voting for RB as President to stop Sata. And of course Eastern will push him up. North Western, Western will be shared between HH & RB.  SATA HAS LOST.

  26. Independent Observer, I have to agree it’s a long way to go. I am not sure why you have posted the obvious though. The lists I mean.

I have said above, and I repeat, the real results are yet to be announced and they are the only ones that count. I say this because some people have been posting what I can only describe as wish lists. And that’s been both MMD and PF supporters. I am not sure whether or not these people are trying to psyche up for dubious motives.

  27. Pipo unless the Electron commission site has been hucked, there is NO way RB will pick up 8,314 more than Sata from each of the remaining 17 constituences…..

  28. Please can someone confirm if what is on ECZ site is correct based on 133 / 150 constituencies

  29. # 43,

Your friend left for Zambia to cast his vote. That is the difference with us armchair critics and those who have taken it as a matter of commitment and national duty.

  30. Chinese need to goo…they dont even like ukutomba Zambian girls so we rather keep the EU people in Zed.Plus ama chinese they giving u 10 days old chicken via shoprite cancer. PF please get ride of these chinese in Zed twapapata

  31. HH and group now you see that you are spoilers! You ignored the voice of the majority to make one opposition group. You cannot make it by yourselves. When will you ever learn?

  32. Every silver lining has a cloud. The man is leading simply because his support comes almost exclusively from urban zambia. When the rural vote is finally in the knight in shining armor wil turn into a loser in aluminum foil.Nuff said.

  33. its ths same pre judgement that causes commotion. n tryna burst anybdys bubble or be a kill joy bt d margin btwn d 2leadn candidates aint dt large. n we gats 133 in d kitty, meanin 17 mo..thats alota ppl by z way. dnt incite war frm yo premature predictions ppl. patience…

  34. BREAKING NEWS

PF HACKED INTO ECZ WEBSITE AND POSTED FAKE PRESIDENTIAL RESULTS SOME OF YOU MAY HAVE BEEN SEEING.

PLEASE AVOID RAISING YOUR BP NEEDLESSLY. ECZ IS YET TO POST BONAFIDE RESULTS. THE WINNER WILL COME FROM A SUMMATION OF ALL VOTES FROM 150 CONSTITUENCIES.

  35. most of the lusaka votes are not yet in,the difference this time is that they started with the rural areas,so the strong holds for pf are not yet counted,so takule ati tekanyeni the answer is known.

  36. Which 17 constituencies are remaining? From 2008 election results, PF have increased in their strongholds by reducing RB & HH especially in CBelt. I don’t see RB pulling this unless they say in the remaing constituencies the voter turnout is 100% which will not be accepted as the average posted on ECZ is 35%. In all fairness, this election is SATA’s and no one should dare steal it from him. He deserves and has worked so hard for it… RB took Zambians for granted, shame he is being retired by Sata

  37. mwamvela ka..ati ni false data..ey only gt 33 nt 133 constituencies. ndiye ba justic..ukose! hackers alert ppl. ey closin dwn d results portion on d ecz website. propaganda ppl. jus wait muzazitundila with false excitement.

  38. Early lead for Sata yah..Okay, RB shall have a final lead to close this election and rule for the next five years. Mind you, all of Sata’s big margin strongholds have been released, next to come is RB’s strongholds which will upstage the current lead for Sata. We are gearing for the victory party on Friday. Continue misleading each other with the opposition win yet the reality is that the incumbent continues for another term.

  39. # 83 SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST How about using a different name. These conversations, sometimes turn to be ugly  and you don’t want people to associate such discussion with the name. Really appreciate your input
