Patriotic Front Secretary General Wynter Kabimba

The Patriotic Front cadres this morning caused commotion when they disrupted a press briefing which was supposed to be addressed by party Secretary General Wynter Kabimba demanding to be given employment by the party.

The cadres also demanded that defectors from other political parties should not be allowed to join the party. One of the carders talked to said that defectors from other political parties are the reason why the party is not employing them.

The cadre, who refused to be named, observed that the party seems to be giving employment to people from other political parties who have never been there for the party. He said that the youths will ensure that only genuine members of the party are given employment by the party.

By press time, the Patriotic Front secretary general was said to be in a meeting with some senior UPND members who have defected to the Patriotic front.

  1. Donchi Kubeba coming home to roost. Come on guys , 90 days is ending on the 23rd December. Give your party time. They still have over 60 days to go. If as outsiders we can be patient , how much more you the insiders? You party is still firing credible people to create positions for you.

  2. For real!!! They want more money in their pockets NOT witch hunting!! He promised them within 90 days.Underline the word ‘within’!!

  3. The PF youths have a point. They are the power behind your success. Do not be like Alabee who did not want to listen. Once these hungry youths become angry youths there will be no peace. Why give jobs to opposition members so soon forgetting the very people that really fought for you?

  4. YES THE YOUTH ‘S DEMANDS ARE REAL. SOME OF THEM PUT IN MUCH TIME AND RISKED THEIR LIVES. ITS TIME TO GIVE THEM SOMETHING “MPASELA” MWABOMBENI. FOR A START THERE IS SUPPOSED TO A VICTORY PARTY ORHANISED BY THE PF SOMETHING LIKE A CONCERT IN THE SHOW GROUNDS. THE YOUTH KNOW EACH OTHER. THERE IS NEED FOR THE PF NOT TO OVER LOOK THE EFFORT OF THE YOUTHS ITS NOT TOO LATE. THE YOUTH BROUGHT THE CHANEGE THAT WAS DEMANDED. WYNTER KABIMBA COME OUT IN THE OPEN AND DECLARE THE PF POSITION SINCE YOU ARE THE ONE RUNNING THE SECRETARIAT. NO TWO WAYS ABOUT. ITS IME FOR MWABOMBENI MUKWAYI.

  5. They were promised more jobs, lower taxes, more money in their pockets within 90 days. Following up on the promise should not be a problem. Besides, they are seeing jobs going the other way round.

  6. I blame the party for taking advantage of the less privileged and pushing themselves into power with questionable attitudes and qualities. There was so much deceit in the attempt to wrestle power from the MMD. The desperation bred all sorts of negative qualities in the leaders as well as cadres that the anarchy sown in PF is now bearing seed. I always asked how PF would govern if they showed so much disrespect for the rule of law and flew on rumors and gossip to greater heights. Well these people were promised jobs and more money in their pockets WITHIN and not necessarily at the END of ninety days. They are perfectly within their promised time frame.

  7. Now that PF is in power, they have to disappoint such people. There will be no jobs in the party, there will be jobs if you work hard for Zambia and not for PF. Now PF has got the police, they will have to use such to stop such foolish behaviour. I cannot wait for the budget, I hope it will be a well consulted budget unlike some decisions made thus far. Please impress us Mr. President!

  8. Those in the Boat already should not worry.

Maestro wouldbe qouting this bible verse:

    Mark 2:17
    New International Version (NIV)

17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Now all you cadres, worry not just yet, let us welcome our friends on the Boat first before their sinking ship disppears, and then let us sort out the issue with jobs.

    The Boat is sailing.

  9. Why should a PF cadre not give his name if he truely believes in what he is doing? At least he should say I am so and so and was chairperson of one ward and want a job. Then it will make sense. I smell that these chaps want to disrupt the defection of senior UPND officials

  10. Kaili they were promised jobs before the elections. its the very reason why pf was voted into power..lelo lelo!

  11. Hahahahahahaha the chickens have come home ……. 60 days money in the pocket, can’t blame the youth; they see new people in the party  getting their jobs, by the way, young people the president has extended the retirement age so you have to wait an extra 10 yrs for jobs.

@ 14, how are you? We are in an era of personal decision becoming law and bills, the resident decided to change the retirement age, scrap the position of secretary of The Treasury, so there is no owner of the government assets which by the way are in the custody of secretary, the secretary appoints budgetary committees, so the budget might take longer than expected, my guess. I want a peoples budget period.

  12. Its very funny wats hap in this country, myself am graduate in Agric without a job since graduating in 2009 with Bsc Ag from UNZA. GRZ tok abt revamping agric with their graduate nephews from mashrooming universities holding degrees in HR serving as extension officers at MACO, no wonder u’r delivering urea fertiliza b4 seed there’s no technical experts in Agricuture, as experts we’re just roaming the streets.

  13. Those are organised thugs by the opposition. Just look at the reporting so shallow. No detailes are given concrning the defecting UPND guys. I think its those who were preventing the defection who made that nose. Shame on the opposition UPND cadres.

    • kioikenifacation on April 24, 2010 man i know this might sound like im a wuss but i have a laptop that i watch and i get my gun and BLAST THE TV!

  14. Will there come a time when after elections, we will all be united in unizon to look forward? To put all differences of the campaign period behind and focus for the betterment of all of us and our children? After elections we demand delivery of all deliverables from those we have put in power in an open and honest way? Its nosensical of the highest order to remove one leader from office on the basis of non-deliveries, secrecy, arrogance, corruption, nepotism and pride and put another from whom we can not demand all these virtues. Why do we sound as though we are still campaigning for the party that is already in power? Will that add any value to our status? I leave this to all blogers

  15. the clock is ticking ka, 60days to go. Its now clear dat the snakes politics are all about lies and more lies. ati job creation within 90days… the nigga thinks hes a superhero… gimme a break

    • goose2goose2 on February 20, 2011 there is a free one in 30 ft of water in Dutch Harbor Alaska.it broke into a tunosahds pieces and blew into the ocean..but it’s free it you want it.

    • mlakeilamiguelz on November 20, 2010 i love hula they should bring back the hula class at bally . the took it away THIS SUCKS!!!

  16. This is normal it happens in many organizations, PF needs those MMD district level leaders if its to make in-roads in some MMD strongholds.

  17. .
Unfortunately the youths were duped and they must come to face the reality.

The truth of the matter is that Sata cannot create 1 million jobs in 90 Days, not even in 365 days or 1825 days = 5 years of his term.

Even if Zambia opened up 5 New Copper Mine’s in any province in the next 5 years, the new mines would not have the capacity to create 1 million jobs. It’s not feasible.

Governments don’t create jobs but rather create Conditions & Good Regulations that can make the private sector grow and create jobs. We are still waiting to see the Job Creation Plan from PF

As I mentioned in my opening comments after PF won the election: ….

“” The same youths or so called PF Kaponya’s will turn against Sata over his blown promises””

  18. In eastern province we say “pangano inadulisa mutu Yohane” maening that it`s the promise which led to John the baptist`s head to be chopped, the guys promised and so they have to fulfil that and many other promises.Barotse is waiting and us civil servants are just watching and waiting.

  19. japhen mwakalombe aleya ku botswana as ambassador! utwaishiba ukulwisha incito! Ba pf cadre you thought this was about you? its about power to the big people.

  20. It is pay time now. Give them jobs while we are reorganizing our opposition. Empty promises will haunt you. 1 term party!

  21. These cadres thought ‘donchi kubeba’ was only meant for MMD? They (PF) have done on them (PF cadres) aswell. First it’s on the jobs, next you’ll have to go to Kambilombilo or Kanakantampa for forced farming or probably some country in Asia called A*********n.

  22. I know it is not fair to always just critise without solutions. PF do emback on recruiting youths for training in various life skills as a matter of urgency otherwise tamwimone bwino. This is just the begining. Remember us direct tax payers are also just waiting for the budget to see what you have offered my children. I need more money in the pockets to make them happy too.

    • nltlaieadav1 on September 4, 2011 I love that the products are a greener option and that they are hand sewn for a better quality. The toddler hoodies (ages 1-6) in the boy colors are absolutely amazing. Enter me in the give away please.

    • dzayyz on May 29, 2008 great company, definitely helped me with my credit score. If you need help improving yours you should check out high rise credit consulting.

  23. No.3 MMD Chief Bootlicker, you have woken up! I thought you went to slumber like RB! Hopefully you are not punch drunk like RB. Wake up with more mature criticism than you currently are espousing. We have a quota for new comers so finding employment for our youth is none of our worry! PF at work- keep on working!

    • DynamicoDesigns on June 24, 2011 As one of my past elyompers of over five years, I loved my job at 24-Hour Fitness I’m on a different career path these days (web developer), but always have great memories of working there Great video and thanks for being part of the equality for all’ movement we are all equals.

  24. @ KAPOTU: Luciferous invites you for an issue based debate- you appear to be needing some verbal ideological panel beating!

  25. …We are yet to see more of such from the Kaponya Revolution before some other wise fellow begins to give us theories for another revolution

  26. I thought Kabimba has already told his cadres that PF has no capability to create jobs. PF is full of retirees and people who through out their lives have lived on pay checks ——-and have no skills and abilities to design job creation strategies across the country.

  27. @KEKE: Please speak by mentioning names, Kabimba is a qualified and reputable lawyer, our Chancellor is well qualified and a successful business man, I think jobs can be created. When you mention that people are unqualified, please attach your CV and I will mention to you a million Zambians more qualified than your Father!

  28. I THINK I CAN CONTRIBUTE BY SUGGESTING TO PF A FEW TIPS ON HOW TO CREATE EMPLOYMENT FOR THE YOUTH, BUT WE MUST FIRST TEACH THEM THAT THE CULTURE OF ENTITLEMENT AND NOTION OF NATURALLY DESERVING WHAT THEY HAVE NOT WORKED FOR OR DON’T QUALIFY FOR HAS SPOIT THE YOUTH HERE IN SOUTH AFRICA. IT IS TRUE THEY VOTED IN LARGE NUMBERS, BUT SHOULD NOT HOLD GOVT TO RANSOM FOR THAT. I THOUGHT 90 DAYS WAS FOR GOVT TO LAY A FULL PROGRAMME OF ACTION, GOVERNMENT’S GOALS AND KEY PRIORITIES FOR ITS 5 YEAR TERM – I MEAN, NOT EVEN ONE REASONABLY SIZED HOUSE CAN BE CONSTRUCTED AND CCOMPLETED IN 90 DAYS, COME FOLKS!

  29. @Wanu Ngwee, in 90 days you can lay out how you want your mansion to look, by the the way, a physical house can be built in two weeks if you have the right amount of money!

  30. Good comment Independent Observer #34, Can you imagine in his 6,423 words speech to parliament last week, Sata failed to outline his job creation strategies for all the 9 provinces and yet this is a president who won his election on the basis of job creation and putting money in people`s pockets. As rightly put by Independent Observer, the issue of job creation will make PF the fastest shrinking political party in terms popularity.

    • dpsmuun on July 3, 2011 hey um how do i get my remote to change channels on my number two reciever? i cjhange the battiers and everything..i dunno?

  31. What colour are PF cadres? BlacK? Did they present their membership cards? So they could be anything right…MMD, UPND, ASSO or just bored and looking to make some confusion. Who knows. What jobs?

    • goose2goose2 on January 26, 2011 @tsport100 know much about wind tubeinrs> ?maybe do just a few minutes searching around, before shoot your mouth off and showing everyonewhat we already knew..that you don’t have a clue.the gen-set alone cost over 700 dollars try looking up the cost of an axial flux gen-set,then you might consider even finding out just what , exactly that is .

  32. Luciferous Calyptus, can you please be civil in your response to my comment. I know its difficult to fro you be civil —-given your upbringing perhaps. Why should you involve my dad in your comments. If you are suggesting that PF has capability to create jobs across the country, why can you refer me to PF`s job creation strategy? I was reading Sata speech and there is nothing in their. Please i very much understand how difficult it is for PF suppoters to be civil —but lets try to —especially when you are in the US.

  33. How do you roam the streets with an agriculture degree? You must be sick in your head. There are thousands of options young man/woman.Zambia cant develop with people like you who always ask what the country can do for them than what you can do.Good luck.GOD BLESS ZAMBIA.

  34. @ #47 Luciferous Calyptus, here in Africa we construct our houses with brick and mortar, and not wood. And given that proper curing (drying) of concrete (of which our floors are made) takes at least 21 days, there is just no way you can complete a house in two weeks. We dry our floors using natural means and not GMO aggregates.

  35. On scrutinizing defectors, I support you because some have bad corrupt behaviors which can infect PF, on Jobs, Give PF some time, SATA will make sure there are Jobs for all Zambians not only PF cadres, Please don’t behave like MMD cadres who controlled Bus stations and councils. Just relax.

Anybody out there with this type of problem, would like to know.

  36. This is just a tip of an iceberg of the things to come. The campaigns were riddled with lies, deceit and violence.PF must deliver on the promises they made amidst world economic turmoil.
PF! what goes around comes around. The clock is fast ticking.

    • shveoofheautn88 on May 11, 2011 STEP 1 , MY LIGHTS FLASH PEFECT , I’M OK THERESTEP 2, THE TV LIGHT DOESNT STAY ON AT ALL BRAN NEW REMOTE ! ANY IDEAS ?WILL IT STILL WORK ?

  37. We are not giving jobs you carders. We are actually extending retirement age to 65 so that us old PF leaders can continue saving you. Don’t worry, just be patient, your time will also come.

  38. 49 # KEKE

    Well said…..

The only way PF Government MUST or CAN put more money in the pockets is by creating jobs for the youths that are now lining up before Wynter Kabimba. But that’s not practicable looking at the current drive or sermons coming from PF.

Otherwise the PF Government will just instruct BOZ to print more money to pay in the pockets of civil servants and the private sector, which will end up devaluing the kawacha against external currencies by loosing our buying power for exports and imports. In the end people will still find it hard to cope with the cost of living

    cont..

  39. Brazil, Italy, Japan took the same route which lead to the crashing of its sovereign currencies many years ago. Their economies suffered. Many more African nations have gone through that bad route. It does not work.

Bob Mugabe crashed the Zimbabwean $ Dollar by over printing the money as if the central bank is owned by his wife. He did it to appease his freedom fighters that he had over promised with goodies in the pockets.

  40. khani yalula…have you ever listen to the youths in the shantis and streets towards the election.. Cobra promised heaven on earth to them that is why he won. Banda was more realistic thats why he lost… The country we be un governable in few years to come… kwacha is going down… infalion has started raising…. You know what follows>>>

    • kauramsso on September 4, 2011 I love that Wimsyboo Baby was founded by a WAHM, Jenny. It’s so nice to see a quality product made by real people like us. Proceeds benefit real people like us, instead of big corporation.

  41. Why not offer them instant military training and send those cadres to Somalia and Sudan? You promised them, give them jobs.

  42. INTERESTING, WATCHING THE DRAMA UNFOLD AS MINES START DISMISSING PEOPLE WHILE PF CADRES DEMAND JOBS. NOT EASY JOB MR. PRESIDENT. WHAT YOUR HEART AND BLOODY PRESSURE.

  44. it looks like some people just wanted HH to be president, by the way jobs are not easy to be created, even in America there is a melt down, please guys understand. any way HH will never be President of Zambia

    • TheDRock456 on March 24, 2010 There is a quote from the movie Tommy Boy I’d like to retlae to this turbine, If you’re looking for a guarantee, I could take a shit in a box and mark it guaranteed, but all you’re getting is a guaranteed piece of shit. The wind tamer makes outrageous claims about the production of their turbine but its nothing more than inflated theoretical data. Educate yourself folks.

  45. it looks like some people just wanted HH to plot 1, any way HH will never be the president of Zambia, job creation is not easy, even in America people are suffering without jobs.those supporting HH should just start supporting PF or else they will be burried together with HH. People listen, HH is finished, why should be associated with a loser, or else you will be a failure

  46. Ba PF cadre, what jobs do you want?Sata will definately give jobs to special cadres not mare cadres like you.If you get nice jobs with birth and grade 7 certificates(if at all you have them),who will be dancing at the airport for King Cobra? He DONCHI KUBEBA’d you.SORRY!!!Just accept reality.Ifwe ba special cadre inchito shilamoneka it doesnt matter who is leading the nation.GO BACK TO SCHOOL!!!

  49. DrGoodwrench64 on March 2, 2011 @tsport100It amoslt sounds like your blade length and turbine radius are backwards. If I’m understanding your description correctly, your turbine was very short and wide instead of being tall and narrow. In all the VAWT turbine designs I’ve seen, the 1 characteristic they all share is that they’re all tall and skinny.I’d build another one with a 15cm diameter and a 50cm blade length. And make sure you’re using a good thrust bearing so it can spin up to it’s lift point with minimal resistance.

  50. bnikeutter1 on September 28, 2011 Really boring, lifeless, robotic, monotonous voice. I was so looking forward to hearing the book. I do better when reading books to children on my knee
