    • you must be really ignorant, if you know only Kate Middleton as Princess. Princess nakatindi Wina was noble from a Royal family a dinasty more that 300 years old.
On top of that if you read about her you will get about the kind of special woman She was.

  4. I am extremely saddened by this death, Wina and his wife have always been too close, always seen togather – very rare manners in Africa, only characteristic of our european friends. I am sure the big man will never be the same. May God strengthen him. May God help the family get over it.

To the gentlemen out there, please love your wives, be close to them, show them all the love, you only realise their importance when you part. Usually, your first wife is the wife that God destined for you.MHSRIP.

That is very true, the couple was always together. I remember few years back, on Valentine’s day Mr Wina was being interviewed at Manda Hill. The interviewer asked him what he was doing at Manda Hill. His response was “I brought this girl here to buy her a gift”. We can learn a lot as young couples from the Winas. In a world where marriages don’t last, the two can be classed as role models in this area. MHSRIP, my prayer is with the Wina family

  8. I heard that the time heals all the wounds.
This painful tragic loss will take a lot of time to heal, because Princess Nakatindi was just unic! She was only 67 years old. too young to depart and leave the Family devasted. Mr. Wina, Sir, may the Lord streighten you. Your daughters, sons, grand doughters and grand sons need you. Zambians need you.

Rest in peace Mamma Princess Nakatindi,

  10. May Your Soul Rest In Peace Princess Nakatindi Wina, and may Jehovah God comfort Sikota Wina and his family during this trying times.

As for ka mushota, young lady you have no morals at all as to even make fun of the departed. It’s people like you that give the country a bad name. This is no time to play. If you were just a dream in your parents heads when the good princess served the country, then you are better of zipping up.

  13. I normally dont comment as on this blog but as a Bemba I think Mushota’s comment is way to out of texture and if there are any people that know her they should put her in line. If I did and found her here in Australia I would definately murder her. Thank you.

  16. The passing of a “STATESWOMAN”
Heart felt sympathies to the Bereaved Family. Mrs. N. Wina  could be considered Zambia`s IRON LADY. Aside from having been around, she was deeply involved in Zambia`s politics form PRE INDEP-ONE PARTY- MULTI PARTY. I wish for the family to find strength and pull through this.

  26. MHSRIP. I knew the Princess and worked with her for a few years in the early years of Chiluba’s government in the 1990s – when there was such a positive buzz all across the country without exception. Her death to me signals the end of an era. The generation of independence-struggle politicians is slowlying fading into the books of history. It is sad, they led us through an exciting period. From 1964 to end of the 1990s when this generation was most active we went through various times of excitement, doom, repression, and comedy. It has been nice to have been part of all that and now with this fading, there is a huge nostalgic feeling – may be a fear of the reality that the past will never be again. Let them go to rest: they fought and worked hard for Zambia – with little education.

  27. Will she be accorded a state funeral by the Zambian govt? How will the fact that she is a princess and the current impasse on Barotseland play out as regards her funeral arrangements?

This is the sort of history which might unfortunately miss from our history if people continue bickering on tribal issues. The Winas plus the late Princess were a political family to reckon with.and in my view should go down in the Zambian history.Zambia has such a great history with strong women like the late princess being in the forefront to restore democracy in our country but what we have especially on website are airheads insulting our leaders from KK to Sata and other great leaders of our time.No one is perfect so let us remember the great contribution each has given to our country and thank God for them all.

  41. Many many realtors would like what you have but with PITI. Principal, Interest, Taxes, & Insurance. That would give us the total molhtny payments which is much more valuable than just the PI, principal & Interest calculator. It should be easy to add on.1. Tax Rate with a Drop Down List from O.1 to 4.0 in .1 increments 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, etc.2. Insurance Yearly Cost, then you divide by 12.
