The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. PROS
- Great acting by the whole cast . Andrew Garfield took the Peter Parker/Spider-man character to a higher level of believability.
- The special/visual effect were great , they really brought the movie to life.
- Rhys Ifans played the role of The Lizard/Dr. Curt Connors perfectly.
- The movie had a great story line.
CONS
- The story line was a bit predictable as it basically stuck to the origin story of Spider-Man.
- There was some unnecessary humor.

CONCLUSION
The Amazing Spider-man is exactly that ,Amazing. This re-boot of the Spider-man movies that originally stared Toby Maguire , is darker and more realistic . The movie is well paced so it keeps you glued to the screen . It is a must-see movie.

5/5 my foot , spiderman 2 is way way better than this laughable reboot. Aside from the action the story will probably put you to sleep. The villain a big buluzi cannot even compare to previous villains like the green goblin or dr octopus . The thing this whole reboot was just brought about because hollywood wants to cash as much as possible in sequels and the merging of the avengers to form the new avengers. The rul of thumb is if you are going to make a remake or reboot at least make it better like they did with Batman this rubbish is not worth seeing in the cinema just wait for the bootleg
Why the re – boot in the first place?
I thought the Spidermans 1 – 3 were okay (okay, when Sandman started growing in the third one, thats where things got messed up), but if there is one movie that seriously needs a re boot, its surely Superman….
I understand Chris Nolan will be involved in “Man of Steel”…….
