Zambians are yet to see the worst of Sata

What is that which Hakainde Hichilema has done for the state to even stop thinking about the mysterious murders that are happening each day all over the country, especially in Lusaka to be following him. HH might have lied, but surely how many lies or false alarms did our president make when he was in opposition and was not arrested by RB?

I told Zambians before the elections that the previous president, Rupiah Banda if he was a devil, then he was a better devil than now president Michael Sata. I even mentioned some of the things that Sata was likely to do if he became president of Zambia and true to my words that’s exactly what has been done.

Sata has turned Zambia into a police state today in order for him to have absolute control and completely destroy democracy in our country. How can you even doubt a person who has brought close to himself people like Robert Mugabe, Fred Membe and team; Kenneth Kaunda and his UNIP people? This clearly shows that we are back in the days of wamuyaya. Sata has brought close to himself these people to help him manipulate and control the masses like both Kaunda and Robert Mugabe did so that they just think that he is the only one.

I have a feeling that people will be arrested on tramped up charges, severely punished or even killed mysteriously for opposing or speaking against the part and its government by the overzealous PF members because that’s what was happening during KK and happens in Mugabe days.

But please can someone tell Sata that he has more pressing issues to attend to than hunting the head of HH for supposedly lies. Sata and PF should pay particular attention to the continuous load shading by ZESCO, brutal murders happening in our country, poverty and lack of quality health services and facilities among other things.

How can Hichilema become a thief and liar to Sata today and yet just some few days ago this is the man Sata was in alliance with so that they could remove MMD out of power?

Iam not in any way supporting the UNDP president, Hakainde Hichilema for supposedly lying as has been reported by pro- government newspapers because lies are bad and any one in the habit of lying is not worth to be a leader.

If HH has chosen to take that root in order to woo support, the best thing to do is to expose the lies and leave people to judge for themselves if at all that’s the kind of a person they want to be their leader. I believe our people are busy watching all of us and come 2016, they will make a good decision. So no need for PF and the president to be having sleepless nights, especially if they are addressing the problems of our people, as they are saying. But if they are the ones who are lying then they should know for sure that they going and none of the lessons and support from Mugabe, KK or Post Newspapers will be able to save them.

  2. Bwana president, thats your opinion and we respect your right to air yours. Unfortunately the issue of load sheding cannot be resolved in a year, not even 5 years. I have no respect for people who twist facts to justify their point. In the last 20 years Zambia never built a single energy geenration scheme; yet in the same number of years the population increased to levels where existing energy geenration facilities could not cope. Same applies to roads, water reticulation and waste water treatment. If you are worth being a future leader, tell the people the truth. Tell them that loadsheding is here to stay until we build a “dam”; and to build one will take minimum 7 years, at a cost of, blabla. As for politics of HH, i have no comment.

    • You pipo forget quickly our own president was making such statements and he was never arrested. It is unfortunate that we should leave in fear of our own government. What training institutions are in Sudan to risk the lives of our young people. Kabimba agreed that PF has an agreement with Sudan, if that agreement was for the good of Zambia it would have been made public. Why is the President aligning himself with Zimbabwe and Sudan. I fear that it is to gather support for what he has planned for Zambia. He knows those are the people that will give him support

NO one z above the law. if he has the truth, we want to kno so that we judge PF. why did he have to make dat statement if he z a coward? common pipo, let him prove himself, we r we r waitin

THE PROBLEM WITH YOU IS THAT YOU THINK PRISONS WERE ESTABLISHED FOR ROOSTER THIEVES AND NOT ANYONE WITH MONEY OR POLITICIANS. SINCE PF CAME INTO OFFICE THEY HAVE ARRESTED A NUMBER OF ALLEGED WRONG DOERS FROM ALL BACKGROUNDS. SO, WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT HH? THE ZAMBIAN MENTALITY OF PRISONS BEING FOR PETTY THIEVES MUST STOP.

    • dude, in politics you do not arrest and jail liars (also known as opposition leaders ) , you prove to the masses of their lies and that in itself will discredit the perpetrators hence construct their own down fall. if this was a genuine police matter , H.H would have been dealt with by the police at the time he made the allegations ! this is a clear indication that whoever is in charge of the police is under huge pressure from the ruling party to do what they have done on this occasion . that being the case then bwana Musona may have a valid point that our country( i.e i did not say P.F supporter’s country) is being turned into a police state!!!!

  14. It is true. Look after thinking about training cadres in Sudan, they also talked about youth service. Then they said youth service will not have a military component to it. They have been trying to create some armed wing of youths to further their hold on power. They just dont have clue on what to do to develop the nation apart from just stealing.

    • When did lying become an offence. Sata and the Post would be serving life sentences if that was the case. This is political persecution of the highest order.p Bob Sichinga also lied about MMD printing fake money accusing China in the process. Why was he not arrested? Kabimba said PF youth carders would sent to Sudan. Why PF youth only when its Zambia they are serving? and why Sudan with its record…
      Let’s fight for our country and not for our Parties. The come and go but Zambia will always be ours irrespective of the Party in Govt.

    • Examples were not given as such i am made to believe that the author of this article does not have any facts of Sata lying and being left scot free. Even if it is hatred for an individual, it should not get to a level where you say something about him which you cannot substantiate.

  19. I have friends in Prison,if HH is not sent to Prison,i will protest alonn by walking from one point to the next………Besides….if he goes on trial soon,i will request the Judiciary to resign because alot more of people are still in line waiting to tried…..

Opposing PF in legitimate or illegitimate ways will soon be a matter of careful consideration in terms of personal safety.Long gone are the days when Zambians could express themselves freely without looking over the shoulders.You will now be afraid to breath in your own skin.Findout from Sudan’s ruling party,the communist party in China or Robert Mugabe’s ZANU-PF.Fear and the reign of terror are their major weapons against dissdents.PF now has a well knitted militant Intelligence System all over the country.These Party intelligence officers have completed intensive workshops countrywide.Stop yapping anyhow if you value your own peace!

  27. Zambia cannot be ruled based on threats and violence. GBM, This dirty chap from Luapula Sakeni and pipo like Shamenda are not worthy to be called Leaders. ba Sata should solve the numerous problems currently in zambia. That is what the minority that voted for him wants. sata must fulfill the many endless promises he told us and not harrass HH. This will come to haunt him come 2016. HH never lied. What can PF cadres learn in Sudan????

  28. Kibinda, you seem to have forgotten that Sata during his campaigns promised that if elected load-shedding would be thing of the past.

    • And you believed that? Even if you were to be given billions you may not manage to build a single dam in 90days; however, the process can start in 90 days and that process has started, it will end in 20 years. Remember, a journey for a thousand miles begins with a single step; but that step should be in teh right direction. Zesco is working on it; but iwll deliver in 2015 or 2017. And load shedding will be a thing of the past; for now, reality of non performance of a government for 20 years from 1991 to 2011 continues. am just stating the facts.

  29. Mr Wright Musoma HH is not UNDP president, UNDP is a UN agency it full names are United Nations Development Programmme. Check this out. Don’t be emotional in your analyis of national issues. Go on dream man.

    • You wish!! Ask a guy earning $22 500 per month tax free to leave Zambia now!! Actually minority of people may say there are no human rights; especially if they keep making alarming statements that they can not substantiate. Or they visit state house without permission. But those that go on with their lives would never swap Zambia for any place on earth. Even i could do anything to get back home to suffer a life of no human rights but earling as much as they are making from Gold Copper and Cobalt. In short, the minority are not happy; its likely to be the same in 2016; the minority will loose and continue being unhappy. Such is life!!

      You have guffed too much and I wonder whether or not you truly believe in what you are saying. Are you sure that HH’s claim was alarming? More so than a Cabinet Minister, in Bob Sichinga, claiming that China had printed fake Kwacha notes that were circulating in the country? Please… HH is an opposition politician who is peharps second (judging by Paliamenterian representation) to Mumba and his claims should simply be rubbished as Did the finance minister when Bob made his claim. This is political persecution whichever way you look at it.

If HH has the facts to prove his wild statement about training militias in Sudan, no worries, he has just been granted an opportunity to expose Government in court, but if he hasnt and just exageratted Kabimbas MOU with the Sudanes eParty and thought he could translate that into militia training, then all those close to him should be quite worried and strengthen his defence team, this is legal, not political and he will only be reffered to as Accussed 1 or A1, not President HH, no, not in court!!!

  32. Iwe Kibinda, have you ever heard of a thing called Energy Efficiency or Demand Side Management (DSM)? What development has taken place in Zambia compared to the numder of industries that have closed shop? Can you do an energy balancing exercise?

    • You are asking a wrong person; ask Zesco or better still educate them on DSM so that they can stop the load shedding; but asking politicians to deal with it is a a right question asked to a wrong group. And its problem of you technocrats. A politician twists facts to sound legitimate you support!! Tell the guy to say what he needs without citing irrelevant data. Meanwhile, leave me alone to enjoy my mukwere kwere life where there is no load shedding; will come back after you have sorted all the mess to rule over you as a kibinda waba kabwa!!

    • Dr Mwazambwa, for your own information, developing a country does not necessarily mean that you have to be in your country. I contribute to my beloved Zambia in subtle yet effective ways. Zambia could not absorb all engineers at the time i graduated; in fact had Zambia realised 10 to 15 years ago that they needed infrastructure many of us would not be working abroad. That said, am always back in zambia as a volunteer engineer working at a named public institution at my own cost, flights, accomodation, and all. Except, I work silently, the exact opposite of politicians. I pay tax, have employed tens of Zambians over the last 6 years. So am doing my bit sir. Thanks

Fights and probably killings between cadres of one political party and another – especially after 48 years of independence and for a good number of those 48 years mediating between waring political parties of other countries? PLEASE, LET’S RAISE THE BAR ON MINIMUM ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS FOR POLITCAL OFFICE BEARERS AT ALL LEVELS, BRANCH LEADER, COUNCILLOR, MP, MINISTER UP TO PRESIDENT. ITHINK IT WILL HELP.

  37. i dont see the connection between pf and kk,all i know is that the govt of the day takes care of all former heads of state,and can seek advice from them.if sata and pf are blutalising us ,its him and his party.mwanawas embraced kk but i never heard anybody complaining of it and rupiah banda did the same.so whatever is going on has nothing to do with the old man,he knows that he is close to meet the lord and his focuse is on helping and promoting programs which disadvantages the poor.as for hh ,he is a national figure so his words can not just go scot free.AS FOR ZRP i hve never heard of this party s manefesto ,for me to determain their mental capacity on how they entained to govern us one day.i just hope its not a pocket party.

  39. This is the worst government this country has ever had. Today, Zambia has all the characteristics of a failed State.
    In a failed State, the police and the judiciary serve the interests of the President and the Party in power, and not the interest of the nation. In a failed State all key institutions are run by the President`s cronies and not professionals. That is the situation in Zambia right now. Very unfortunate!

  40. Iwe Kibinda you are just a heap of junk. So you mean to say until all the trash you have mentioned are sorted out we cannot talk against PamFi government and human rights violations? What we are saying is lets work on more serious issues like load shedding and unemployment and not just petty politicking like what the PamaFi government is doing now. If it can take 7 years to solve load shedding why not put mechanisms in place that will solve this problem now than to concentrate on harrassing innocent people like HH. Remember that PamaFi disciples and their learned boss uttered a lot of trash against MMD and RB and none was arrested. I rest my case!

    • Lol; actually you are free to say anything about PF; thats not my issue. The issue is how does load shedding make a person he worste president when in fact it was created by the inaction of a previous government? And to clarify that inaction, it was not an inaction for a year; rather for 20 years? Say what you want, but dont twist facts. Its like saying you will build roads to deal with traffic jam in Lusaka or Kitwe, or Ndola overnight; no chance. It takes planning, designing, constructing, commissioning and then use; all these things need to be done whether its PF, or Up and Down in power. Except, you cannot use the lack of infrastructure as a reason for poor performance for government in power for 10 months. Unless you are naive, mediocre or utter stupid.

  44. Many a time Sata has lied and no one has arrested him.Not even KK who was deemed as a dictator by many then took this action against Sata when he announced at a rally which I even attended that KK was keeping Sadam Husein’s family in State house.

    Personally also am not happy with the direction our country is taking but hold your tongues. What will it merit u to further discourage your brothers in Zambia? Even the locally based prophets of doom, make a positive action towards your desired goals before talking! I reckons most posters here are iliterate 15 year olds.
