Faz Division One North leaders Lime Hotspurs coach Mathews Ndhlovu has expressed dissatisfaction with his side’s performance in Sunday 2-1 win over Kalulushi Modern Stars.

Lime opened up a 12-point lead at the top of the table after beating second placed Kalulushi thanks to goals from Allan Chibwe and Paul Chibambo.

Lime have increased their tally to 60 points while Kalulushi have 48 points.

In a post-match interview, Ndhlovu said Lime struggled to beat the Kalulushi outfit.

“My boys did not rise to the occasion despite us playing at home,” he said.

Ndhlovu added:” The game was almost 50-50 we did not dictate the pace especially in the first half.”

“Despite scoring we were struggling until making those substitutions in the second half. Even after scoring in the second half we never raised our game today.”
