Iris Kaingu asks for forgiveness from Zambians

Iris Kaingu the woman convicted of producing an obscene video has asked for forgiveness from Zambians. Iris said that she is grateful for the support and sympathy she received from Zambians during her trail.

She said that she would not want another person to be caught up in a similar situation as hers. The daughter of MMD vice President Michael Kaingu said that she will now concentrate on her school and developing her business.

The 21 year old said that her parents are already making efforts to secure her a place in school outside the country.

Iris was this week found guilty and convicted on one count of making obscene cinematography films tending to corrupt morals by Lusaka Magistrate Prince Mwiinga.

  1. Forgiveness for what? you are a single naturally beautiful girl with no child out of wedlock unlike most of these Zambian girls; you can do as you please, just focus on your future. Look around you or go to the local courts on Monday and you will be surprised at the adulterous cases that appear in front of the judges in this so called Christian nation.

Just be careful with silly boys next time and try to be careful what you get up to, focus on your studies and making the most of your life. Some people are noisy but deep inside they know they’ve done it before! There is no law that stops you from filming yourself and your boy in private but this must remain private. Infact how come homeboy had no case to answer. Kaingu, i ask that you forgive us zambians because this case was never about justice. I can understand the college expelled her because it brought the institution in disrepute and ultimately they reserve the right to addmission. However there was no legal basis to bring your case before the courts. You are a victim of politics. In a real democracy the courts are made up of people who uphold the law and protect the rights of the citizens of that jurisdiction.If anyone had a case to answer it would have been that ***** who breached your trust and pulished without your consent

A SIMILAR JUDGEMENT SHOULD HAVE BEEN PASSED IN THE CASE OF THE TWO MALAWIAN GAY MEN INSTEAD OF SENDING THEM TO JAIL AND BACK-TRACK, AGAIN. AND BE FORCED TO ACCEPT GAYISM BY THE WESTERN WORLD BY THEIR WITHDRAWAL OF AID. THERE WAS NO WISDOM IN JAILING THEM.

  37. I forgive her but being beautiful and the way her trial had progressed should not be the passport for her to go to any Western embassy and seek scholarship. What about the boy? Should he also go and seek scholarship? Irish’s case could have ended long time ago if she had pleaded guilty to the charge but she wanted to be smart. The judicial system has actually treated her well. Why do we want to treat those who do bad things as heroes? I don’t condemn her but I don’t want to treat her as a heroe to be given special privileges which decent moral girls can’t be given.
