ZANIS reports EFZ Executive Director Reverend Pukuta Mwanza says the decision by Mr. Kabimba to cooperate with the ACC is commendable.

Reverend Mwanza said that the Justice Minister’s decision to cooperate will make the job easier for the commission.

And the Non Governmental Organizations Coordinating Council (NGOCC) says the decision by Mr. Kabimba is what is expected of a leader, adding that it is long overdue.

NGOCC Board Chairperson Beatrice Grillo said in an a separate interview in Lusaka, today, that the ACC should without fear or favour conduct thorough investigations into the corruption allegations against Mr. Kabimba within the shortest possible time.

On Sunday, the Justice Minister said he was prepared to cooperate with the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) to enable the Commission conduct smooth investigations on allegations leveled against him.

He said this in Livingstone, when he featured on Falls FM’s Checking Point programme.

  1. Please Rev. u r failing to read between the lines, which corporation are u talking about? Do u think there is anything that ACC can do even if this man go back to them? This case is going nowhere if anything it is the past; president MCS already said everything. i wish our poor brothers and sisters facing such investigations were favoured like Mr Kabimba

  2. Justice should be let not to be delayed,no sacred cows and no intimidation of the process of investigation.May Our Heavenly Father Jehovah bless our beautiful country and it’s leaders.

  3. it’s frighteningly enough to think that the ACC investigatn Kabimba could already be holding the tails between legs in fear of presidential pronouncements.

  4. Tnis therefore is a diversion of true justice and a compromise on the promises of the current regime, ba Rev. please read between the line.

  5. KABIMBA DOES NOT EVEN NEED TO SAY THIS. IF ACC HAS EVIDENCE WHY CANT THEY BRING IT OUT. FACTS ARE FACTS. WHERE ARE THE FACTS? SHOW US. DID ANYONE STOP THEM FROM INVESTIGATING HIM? IF SOMEONE HAS STOLEN , HE HAS STOLEN. OR IF SOMEONE ACTED CORRUPTLY HE DID IT. WHETHER HE CO-OPERATES WITH YOU OR NOT. YOU JUST TAKE YOUR EVIDENCE TO COURT AND THE CHAP GETS ARRESTED. NOW WHAT WE HAVE ARE ALLEGATIONS AND COUNTER ALLEGATIONS. IT IS IRRITATING. WHERE IS THE CORRUPTION? SHOW US AND KABIMBA WILL BE KICKED OUT. IF YOU HAVE NO EVIDENCE THEN SHUT UP. OTHERWISE WE WILL CONCLUDE THAT IT IS BITTERNESS AND ENVY AFTER LOSING ELECTIONS THAT IS LEADING YOU. IF YOU HAVE NO EVIDENCE THEN SHUT UP. I MEAN SHUT UP. TAKE YOUR EVIDENCE TO ACC. OR STOP BLOGGING ABOUT THIS ISSUE IF YOU HAVE NO EVIDENCE. PERIOD.

    • Chisenga – you are true PF indeed. You think ACC will bring out the facts after they got intimidated and what Sata told them to get permission from him? You are kidding me?

  6. I think we have to wait and see what he means by cooperating.

I am saying this because he said his antics in the last visit were part of cooperating…….is he going to continue behaving like that and call it cooperating?

  7. Thanking Mr. Kawimba for agreeing to testify at ACC can be likened to a father who brags at a bar for having bought school uniforms for his own children. The church should stand firm, right now it is the only voice of reason. We can’t trust UNPD nor MMD. President Sata seems overwhelmed by corruption. He messed up by protecting Mr. Kabimba, who owes the nations an apology for behaving like a MMD cadre. The courts seem quite compromised too. It this point i very much doubt if Dora, Namulambe, Kapoko, RB and Sons, Laito will ever be held accountable for stealing our money. Who will save Zambia from all these theives nkansi!

  8. There’s nothing to commend Winter for after his behaviour. He was waiting for his boss Satta to bully the ACC. Has Sata given approval then? In fact as Winter says, this is just to close the matter. Who will find him guilty without Sata’s approval? It’s already a closed case. Can’t believe Zambia is sinking lower than Zimbabwe. Where is SADCC?

  9. KABIMBA NEEDS TO BE CASTIGATED, HE HAS ALREADY DRIVEN AWAY GENUINE MEMBERS OF THE PF AWAY FROM PF BECAUSE OF HIS UNBECOMING BEHAVIOUR. FOR ME PF WILL NOT GET MY VOTE EVER UNTIL KABIMBA IS EITHER BOOTED OUT OR CAGED. HE HAS BECOME TOO BIG HEADED FOR MY LIKING. MY ANOYENCE NOW EXTENDS TO THE PRESIDENT HIMSELF BECAUSE OF THE KID GLOVES HE IS USING AGAINST KABIMBA. I AM ANGRY

  10. You Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) Director Reverend Pukuta Mwanza for goodness sake! how do you praise this I.DI.OT Kabimba when the corrupt President Sata has already intimidated ACC!

ACC wont do the investigation independently but now they have to inform the corrupt Sata and his PF before prosecuting this corrupt Kabimba?

Now it seems Sata is was involved in the formation of the corrupt company Kabimba made to raise money for PF.

Shame on you Sata and Kabimba and all the PF corrupt leaders, i regret for the support i gave to you during the 2011 political campaign.

Luckily you will be prosecuted without government interference (when we vote u out) people for all your corrupt and criminal activities you are currently undertaking.

  11. This is a disgraced regime. If they were straight, the president would have reprimanded Kabimba or Kabimba would have apologised. But nay, they are special. Sorry no kudos for this kind of stupidity from a Justice Minister.
