Defence Minister Geofrey Mwamba has dismissed allegations that he will be banished from the Partriotic Front and government.
ZANIS Kalulushi reports that Mr Mwamba said it was not true that him and Kabwata Member of Parliament Given Lubinda would be suspended from the party and the government.
Mr Mwamba who’s also Kasama Member of Parliament told ZANIS Kalulushi in an interview yesterday upon arrival at South downs Airport on his way to Kitwe where he’ is scheduled to meet the youths.
He said if he had committed any offence which was acceptable by the President he saw no reason why the president could fail to suspend him.
Mr Mwamba said stories about him running on Zambian Watch dog that he had been banned by the president from visiting his constituency were not true.
Mr Mwamba explained that operations in government are that when you accept government portfolios you should also accept assignments by his excellence the President.

Whats going on in PF should not be taken as a surprise. Get back to political history in any set where there is dictatoeship tendencies purging suspected and percieved polical opponets is order of the day.In any case who is prepared to work with a person who is way ahead of oneself. PF is cleanising itself and history will prove itself.

The furthest measure the Central Committee can take is to pardon the two since evidence against the two is said to be not sufficient and convincing. The Kabimba group will be mobilised to accept the two for the great work they have done for the party and for the sake of unity. Lubinda and GBM seem to have the symphathy of Chikwanda, Kambwili, Scot plus many more from provinces outside Lusaka, says my source within PF. Kabimbi and the Post are only backed by Lusaka province constituency chairmen who Kabimbi managed to mobilised and, to a large extent, by Mr sata himself, but most of these chairmen are not members of the Central Committee. In short, I foresee the verdict to be in favour of GBM and Lubinda.

When we say that PF is a tribal party the kolwestans refuse. One kolwe has just confessed that PF is for the northerners. So Kabimba you are just being used to portray a national character of PF. You were now being used to haunt GL. Next you will be asked to leave. I can assure you that your leaving PF will be VIOLENT. Mark my words. That Ka hapunda thinks he is PF. Expulsion is not the ONLY solution but reconciliation. We would like to see reconciliation to begin from the party level before we can see at National Level. We may not be PF but we like your ministers and any harm to them sends wrong signals to all. The party is not for the few who can speak loud but to all the members .

Now, here’s a simple lesson we should learn from this: Formation of political parties should only be based on a belief system in different ideologies on governance, and not mere frustration resulting from one’s failure to attain some political office. Here we see a party that doesn’t seem to have a credible constitution, systems and procedures, rules and regulations on how to handle pertinent matters in their organization. Drama unfolds every day and anyone expresses an opinion on the position of the party. WHERE’S THIS COUNTRY GOING?
it surely wouldnt augur well if the decision of the pf desciplinary committee on Given Lubinda and others will be based on the influence of the petitions of contituency chairpersons whose arguments are baseless.we are all human and bound to error and really all errors can be controlled amicably without condemning.
Each dog has its own day, thinking out of the box, the meaning is constructed and we are witnessing deep cracks on the wall which signal the failures of Sata and his clonies.
All that which can be correctly and collectly argued in the aftermath of PF’s lies is that the regime must apologise to the masses for letting them down .
