Power Dynamos coach Beston Chambeshi says the team is ready for the 2013 CAF Confederation Cup.
Chambeshi’s side will host Recreativo da Caala of Angola in the preliminary round, first leg tie on February 16 at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.
The coach said he was also happy with the performance of new signings in recent warm-up matches.
“For sure, we have played Zanaco that is a sign that we are ready. We have played Zanaco which is a big team,” he said.
Power beat 2013 CAF Champions League representatives Zanaco 2-0 in a friendly match last Thursday and prior to then lost 3-0 to FC Platinum of Zimbabwe and drew 1-1 with Don Bosco of DR Congo.
“The team is physically fit looking at the way they have played the past two friendly games. I am happy with their level of fitness,” Chambeshi added.
“All I am looking at is co-ordination you know we have brought in new players.”
