Chief Government Spokesperson Kennedy Sakeni has asked opposition political party leader Hakainde Hichilema, and his counterparts, Nevers Mumba and Sakwiba Sikota, to apologize to the people of Zambia for being unpatriotic, self seeking and treacherous to the country.

In a statement made available to the media today, Mr Sakeni said government strongly feels that the action taken by the trio was unjustifiable, irresponsible, uncalled for and unbefitting of leaders aspiring to govern this country.

He noted that government was pleased that some level-headed citizens have expressed their views and dissatisfaction of what he termed as reckless and corrupt actions of treachery to the nation.
The chief government spokesperson described the opposition leaders’ recent conduct in South Africa as abhorrent and politically suicidal.

He advised the trio that it is highly risky for them to think that they would hide on former President Rupiah Banda’s back as he is currently refusing to be interviewed by law enforcement agencies in order for him to face corruption charges.

Mr Sakeni further urged the Zambian people to critically analyze the opposition leaders as they present themselves as alternatives for what they really are and weigh the value they represent and the motives for their actions.

He stated that the opposition leaders are only bent on boosting their diminishing political fortunes and advised them to be mindful that the Commonwealth is a reputable community of nations with well laid out values and could, therefore, not hid to attention seekers.

He called on the nation to remember that these same opposition leaders had at the time they lost the 2011 general elections declared to make this country ungovernable.

Mr Sakeni, however, hoped that this was the last time that the opposition political leaders embarrassed the nation.

Earlier this week, opposition United Party for national Development (UPND) leader Hakainde Hichilema, Movement for Multi Party Democracy (MMD)’s Nevers Mumba and United Liberal Party leader, Sakwiba Sikota, reportedly went to South Africa to present a petition to the Commonwealth on the alleged Human Rights abuses in Zambia.

    • Those leaders made an indictment on the current government of Zambia, the same way president Sata placed the blame of poor relationship with Angola on the previous regime (which he was once part of) these people are saying this regime is making several violation of its own, and they seem too big to handle.

So why doesn’t Sakeni find the need to exculpate his government? Are they truly innocent of those allegations? If they are I will believe the idea of treachery. Zambia is a part of a global village but we are at Sh.its end where things that go on are easily ignored. when we are in the spotlight they want to act good.. Explain Sakeni!!

    • If Sakeni is sure that these opposition leaders are not going anywhere with these efforts to seek international support/protection, why is he discouraging them? Guess he can just ignore them as nonentities! This reminds me of those childhood fights where you’d be scared of your opponent, but then be screaming out to onlookers asking them to separate you ” before I kill him”

    • The advise is coming from the wrong animal. Not this monkey resembling a human being! Sakeni is a monkey that is able to speak like humans and it ends there. Everything else is for the wild i.e appearance, dental formula, and speeches.
How do people allow him to stand next to their wives because these creatures in the wild are so jealous that they even put a hand on the female part to deny their friends a BONK. It is him and Summer Kabimba who act like this.

  1. never mind them, minister go on with your good work.you promised us that you will recover our money from RB and his conleagues and you just doing that for us we appreciate hon.

    • Which money is this you continue talking about?. Go easy on the State House mix of Mutototo and King Ukwa’s pumpkin leaves. From nowhere you are now talking about ‘our money’! Typical drug addicts! ‘Our Money’, my foot! Was this the money you were promised to have within 90 days? Is Ukwa now telling you that RB took all the money that is why you do not have it in your pockets? Visilu ivi!

    • “He stated that ….. Commonwealth is a reputable community of nations with well laid out values…” So why does Zambia still deserve to be a part of it, this is how we expect you to answer questions Mr Sakeni, not mud slinging. I would like you to lead me, not direct me to think as feeble mindedly as you seem to be doing. As home affairs minister I would appreciate you to defend my country with brains and diplomacy not brawn and threats.

Listen to what I ask fellow Zambians, let him defend us by explaining GRZ position and not calling names. You have a right to demand this of your leaders.

    • Where is the $ 46,000.00 confiscated at O.Tambo Airport from Mr. sata? Shall we have it also? Ala mwandi Mukaloba ilyauma. We have seen this before and nothing comes out. Which is to get ? The Kr 35 000,000.00 from Mmembe and Nchito or the unknown amount from RB? Obviously it is Kr. 35 000,000.00!!!

  2. They have really hit you where it matters! You will quack and quake till you are booted out , clueless hyenas! No Mr Sunken Face. The opposition loves Zambia while PF loves Satan! We wont let you drive Zambia into the sewers!

    • To every action, there is counteraction, good or bad, and when the going gets tough the tough get going. Do not throw stones when you live in a glass house.

  3. Honestly even the statement is so childish. Zambia has been run by useless govts since independence but Satan’s is the most useless!

    • @Conclaves, hold your fire. Do not assume that you know it all. The way you think is not the ultimate right one. Even the people you so much condemn, they also think good and bad, just like you. So being in opposition does not guarantee being of best brains. Some of the things that opposition parties do are petty, bad and even punishable. The school you went to did not produce only the best who are now in opposition. Just urgue your points but that does not mean what you know is the only right way.

  4. even from the massage who can easily notice the bitterness.HH bitterness has gone upto the glassrooted i feel very sorry for fellow who can’t catch up reality

  5. No need to apologise! first of all let ukwa apologise for lying to the voters with his 90 days garbage, iwe sakeni at your age being used like a condom by m’membe and his gang sure??? now i know why they put an empty head as govt spokesperson.

    • That is why you never progress because you believe in these politicians, honestly speaking I feel sorry for you, your mother and father who believed that 90 days theory and you claim that walikwata amano!

    • the jackal..just curious, are your parents siblings?? because your seem to have brain defections, if at all you have a brain.

    • @ the jackal… am not sure which jackal, animal or human, just thinking i might be be directing to an animal which donot reason, anywhere, nobody believes in these or those politicians,,, what we are taking about here is the system,,,a system that is fair to all.. currectly the PF govt is using evil, satanic rule of law,.. you need to have 666 number to appreciate them! thats why even those that wrong appear right,,, okay you brainless brainwashed PF lice.

    • @MMD Chief Bootlicker uli wabufu! Is the article above from Sekani or it is ZANIS only quoting what Mr. Sekani said? So, if you want to talk about statements being released by Mr. Sekani, this isn’t one of them!

“As usual we continue to pity Mr. MMD Chief Bootlicker for having to write statements which only appeals to SELF-CONFESSED ANTI-GOVT CHOIR.” I am sorry to say, but it is amazing how even the obvious is not so obvious to some political sycophants!!!!

  6. They should only be able to do so if you do not deny them their rights as bonafide citizens of Zambia. As long as you continue to deny them their rights, then they are right in using whatever fora is available to make themselves heard.

  7. Human rights abuse? who among you opposition bootlickers has had his/her rights abused and how? please prove your case before you go running your mouths and embarrassing Zambia. The trio deserve to be punished! asking them to apologise is very lenient. Punish the chaps for defaming the country.

    • The great one! take it easy! and take time to think and analyse the issues that are taking place in our country today. Our Democracy, Freedom of Speech, Right to assemble is under threat under the current regime! And if we just seat back and watch! Alot of things will go bad! and we will have no one to blame but ourselves! Currently our systems i.e. Police, Judiciary are manipulated by those in power! Leaving the opposition with no choice but to seek for help from International organizations which are mandated to ensure the the rule of law is adhered to and democracy protected!

  8. Sakeni, is that your name? Really?
How tall are you? Maybe as tall as my middle fingure and give you my middle fingure.
Apologise for what? God damn it, son.
Hakainde Hichilema has pinned down PF in an eye for an eye battle.
Anyway, there is nothing to lose on the part of HH.
HH, do not apologise because they (PF) are attempting to pin you down in their dirty schemes. If you HH, apologise for lodging complaints at commonwealth secretariat about human rights at the hands of the PF agents, then you have agreed that you are what the PF has accused of. Ignore all that which Sata and his clonies are accusing you of. Everyone in the international community is laughing at them (PF). All regional leaders do not want to be associated with Sata’s government.
    He is isolated, even that…

    • BOOM you are not a political analyst who keeps on supporting blindly this chap called HH,as you may be aware since the late MAZOKA your under 5 has being sinking with the low votes in all the general elections we have had he is always cumming out number 3 not even closer to PLOT 1 were he has being dreaming till his demise.don’t comfort failures like HH, MUMBA &SAKI

  9. It is true that HH and Nevers Mumba are getting more and more unpopular everyday because they dont seem to have any developmental agenda but are bent on making the PF government fail.HH has realised that he is not as popular as he has always thought of himself. This is evident by the poor attendance of his Kabwata rally. The man has no plan and no direction.Nevers got 2.8% the last time he tried and nothing has changed since that time. The man has exhibited dictatorial tendencies as MMD president and people are not interested in him.His political CV is useless!!

  10. “To apologize to the people of Zambia for being unpatriotic, self seeking and treacherous to the country”?. Mr. Sakeni, you are looking in the mirror. That is PF you are talking about.

    • The Opposition are realy patriotic very sincere. Komedy Sekaseka absolute example and replica of a treacherous, combative beligerent pf rouge!

  11. There is totally nothing wrong that the opposition leaders have done. What they have raised is a concern by well meaningful Zambians and its up to the Government to listen to what has been raised. If MMD were listening to what the Zambians were saying before the Elections, MMD would still be The Ruling Party Today. What is happening in Zambia today will not end well for our Country. The Animosity, intorrence, intimidation, accusations in the papers and lies are is what is going destroy our country. Give the opposition the platform to gather and assemble. i am sure they could have made the press Conference right here if they had faith in our Police.

    • But who will suffer if the sanctions are imposed? Themselves or the ordinary Zambians? It is definately the ordinary Zambians. I am saying this from a non-partisan position. Sata and his government may have shortcomings. But the route the opposition leaders have taken leaves much to be desired. Their action of advocating for sanctions is both shallow and unpatriotic. A good case is that of Zimbabwe where the oppsition advocated for sanctions and the whole economy of a prosperous nation collapsed. For what?

    • I don’t want to sound as if I am anti opposition. But we should call a spade- a spade. Just from South Africa, NEVERS MUMBA held a Press Conference. And if anything ZNBC always give NEVER and HAKAINDE a platform to respond to any allegations that the government raises, thereby giving them space to express anything on their mind. Let them give diologue a chance. The government has made some mistakes; the opposition as well. Not ‘advocating for sanctions like mercenaries.’ With sanctions, only the poor / muiltitude wil suffer. I repeat give diologue a chance.

  12. The trio must indeed apologise if we are to take them seriously. They should be occupied with strengthening their Parties so as to challenge PF at the polls in 2016. Stop wasting time doing all you can to make the country ungovernable or to discredit the country and making things even more difficult for the Zambian people. Instead of courting foreigners who are not going to vote for you, sell yourselves to the Zambians because they are the voters. RB should be left alone to court foreigners but even him at the end of the day the Zambian Law will catch up with him. Hatered for Sata should not derail your chances of winning the confidence of the Zambian people. God bless Mother Zambia!

    • So how can they strengthen their parties if they’re denied permits to hold rallies and meetings? In fact, if that press conference had been held in Zambia, those guys would have been arrested. No need to apologise.

    • Maybe you have been living under a rock, how can the opposition organize and sell their message in Zambia when they are being harassed, arrested, hurled to court and sometimes jailed just for being seen in public?

  13. In America, you cannot do what these good for nothing politicians did. Whether Democrat or Republican, America comes first. Who is going to get hurt when the international community decides to blindly follow them, Sata or the common man? And who will vote for them, The international community or the same man they are trying to sabbotage? Think using your heads dear opposition “poloticians”.

    • What would you rather, Visit a Chief and be arrested for not having a permit or visit a Market and be charged with defamation? open your eyes and see the bigger picture. Some learned man once said “Defend EVERY ONE of your rights. When any one is given up none of the rest can
      last.” — Rick Gaber

    • Sata is the one who will suffer. This is because “targeted” or “smart” sanctions are against the ruling elite and their families who will face travel restrictions. Opposition do not need to apologise. Sake I and PF should just answer point for point issues raised by opposition.

    • Of course you wouldn’t get that happening in America because the oposition is not stiffled like what is obtaining in Zambia. You mean you you cant see the difference Bantustan Nyadule. Try to use you brain alittle harder sir

    • You are preaching the PF philosophy; monkey see monkey do (or overdo). Aping whatever seemed to work for Mwanawasa (poaching opposition MPs) and Kaunda (Public order act and one party state). Now you think Zambia should be aping the USA.

    • Bantustan Nyandule – you are exhibiting tremendous amounts of ignorance. Before you give examples about USA, you must know that neither Republicans nor Democrats would deny any American citizens his/her freedoms to free speech and assembly. Both Republican and Democrats, no matter what political differences they may have, will always defend their constitution. In Zambia, however, we have a PF government that has been denying opposition parties their rights to free speech and assembly. It’s a tragedy unfolding right before our eyes!

  14. To MMD Chief Bootliker, Ministers dont write speaches.. I’m NOT sure why you are suprised. It is actually mokery for Nevers and HH to do any press statements at home… We are now used to them rusing to RSA for ‘breaking news’.. I never vote for these cowards…

    • Sakeni doesn’t write the speeches neither does he understand him. I think you PF people are either very dull or just situpidi. You’ve already been told that the Press Conference was held in SA because the opposition went there to hand a petition to the Commonwealth Africa Office which is based in Joburg! So please enough of your childish complaints. No one has died because of a Joburg presser!

  15. if ba tonga kwena mwalifulwa your ka hungry hyena will soon die of hatrate .mason at work.viva pf Govt we elected you into power.not these foools who want to come throw pamputea.

    • This is the Short Solwezi DC blogging as Kanyankula.
Instead of working he is busy doing what the monkeys from the ituri know best how to do;stealing.
The crap will catch up with you iwe ka pigmy.

  16. It has hit PF hard. What the opposition should do now is to call for a rally which will be jointly addressed by the opposition. Lets see if Ukwa will allow it!

    • EVERY LEVEL HEADED ZAMBIAN HAS BEEN HIT BY THIS CHILDISH BAHAVIOUR. AND THESE THREE CAN HOLD RALLIES TOGETHER IF THEY WANT. INFACT THEY HAVE HELD RALLIES TOGETHER BEFORE. IN MUFUMBWE THEY HELD RALLIES AND NOTHING HAPPENED. IN THE FORTH COMING BYE ELECTIONS THEY CAN HOLD RALLIES TOGETHER. AND THE PF WILL WALLOP THEM PANTS DOWN SUCH THAT THEY WILL NOT EVEN REALISE WHAT HAS HIT THEM. YOUR FRIEND SATA IS BUSY CEMENTING HIS POPULARITY AMONG ZAMBIANS WHILE YOU ARE BUSY FORMING ALIANCES WITH THE LIKES OF ARMSTERDAM. WE WILL SEE IF THIS ARSTERDAM WILL VOTE FOR YOU. THE CAMPAIGNS HAVE BEEN MADE EASY FOR SATA NOW.

  17. Information is avery powerful tool. Just like the tougue. How u use it determines your intelectual capabilities asn well as intentions. In this case a lawyer is leading the ignorant in misrepresnting the law. Very shameful. To my fellow Zambians it doesnt hurt to invest in availing one self to the laws of the country. In any peaceful country the action of the opposition is not openly acceptable. Unless they are saying there is no peace in Zed. If this is so please tell us. But, if its Human rights issues there is an office of UNCHR in the country a neutral body they could have used to dialogue on their behalf with GRZ. Pls appologise so we can be relieved of the embarassment of a ‘flygate’ saga.

  18. Apologize to who and for what? iwe chi sakeni uli saka saana what do you think is not seing yo sinking govt what u are doing. even da donor community are aware of yo foolish maneuvers to kill opposition in the nation. You feeling the heat of that press conference in RSA let yo UKWA also hold a press conference to counter react on what the opposition said. There is lot rotten things going on in this country including corruption by ministers who being protected by UKWA so what do what Zambians do, jst watch you plundering our country in the name of allergic to corruption which is another dochi kubeba slogan

  19. Someone once said “Defend EVERY ONE of your rights. When any one is given up none of the rest can
    last.” — Rick Gaber

  20. i had said it before, these guys can even sell their souls to wins. But wait for 2016, dont let us suffer because of your power hungry politicians. U will be perpetual opposition

    • In so far you are not suffering because of opposition wrong doings. What will happen in 2016, we are going to discus afterwards.

  21. no appology to make. BRAVO HH, NEVERS, AND SAKI.. ABASH one party state with KK!!!

NO APPOLOGY TO MAKE!!! THANK U SAKENIO

  22. Suppose they refuse to apologise? It will be another criminal offense? After an old man uses snuff (nose tobacco) and u hear him go eeeeiiiitttcchhaaaa!!!!, then know the snuff is very potent. When u hear government sneeze day in day out on the south african press briefing, I think it has hurt them where it hurts. By the way Hon Minister,I thought according to you, RB also attended that joburg briefing. Apologise also kaili.

  23. Under PF, Zambia has become like Zimbabwe. Opposition members being harassed, locked up, bitten, spied upon, etc. Zambians must find a way of restoring democracy

  24. # 20 Kanyankula, there is no need to insult Tongas. Why do you hate tongas? May be some tonga bull is bonking your wife. You may even never know who your biological father is, you mother could have opened to a Tonga man and you were conceived. as some one put it do not be like a male condom that is coming straight from another man’s a-nus. Inter marriages are now common in Zambia so stop thing of Tonga this, bemba this, Lozi this. Let be civil unles there is something lacking in us. People that have worked with HH will tell you how humble, principles, hard working and accommodating he is. Have a life man!

  25. ALL THOSE WHO ARE FRUSTRATED WITH THE WAY THINGS ARE HAPPENING IN THE COUNTRY ARE VERY FREE TO LEAVE, NO ONE IS FORCING THEM TO STAY.
THESE THREE DIRTY PIGS BETTER APOLOGIZE!!!!
THEY ARE BEING MISLED BY A COW CALLED HH.

  26. Sakeni lied that RB was in RSA,have you PF parrots asked him to apologise?
The PF youth who disrupted the Kabwata Rally, where are they? We all saw pictures but the same pepertrators of violence are let free, what do you want us to do? Keep quite until 2016?

    • YES YOU BETTER KEEP QUIET UNTIL 2016.YOU WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO VOTE AGAIN BUT HH WILL NEVER RULE NEVER!!!
FOR NOW CONTINUE BARKING (UKUBOSA LIKE RABID DOGS)
      YOU SEWER RATS!!!!

  27. The lawyer Armscreen is having a good day. Its a fertile place to earn a lot of money. Just engage all opposition political parties and you will earn alot from them. Armscreen has schemed a nice money spinner, defend the loosers and in the thick of things earn alot of money out of their pockets.

  28. cry my beloved country.we dead with this leadership.l really feel for zambia and the zambian.every day it is like patient getting worse.

  29. This reminds me of the foundation: We always pray to our God for deliverance for the disasters we ourselves have created from our laissez-faire attitude towards everything. At a moment like this we should be critically examining a lot of aspects of civic life and how we are treating our economic and social environments. Apologies at this stage should basically be a last resort. If there are transgressors, the law is there to get that apology by way of a court action… cheers!

  30. ALL YOU NIGGAS IF YOU ARE AGAINST HIS EXCELLENCY M.C.SATA THEN YOU ARE A SEWER RATS, RABID DOGS AND DIRTY PIGS!!!!

    • Don’t waste time explaining who you are to us because we already know you by these same traits you have tried to paste on others.

  31. comwth is nt tht cheap. go to uk, usa and other developed nations. some pipo’s human rights ar actually abused. if th rights of 10 pipo out of the 13m pipo are abused, tht is normal and acceptable by stands. nt long ago S.A police killed over 30 rioters,nt only tht some Rozi brothers where killed by RB’s police and more where jailed. ws tht not violetion of human rights? where ws MN, HH and SAKI? did we hear S.A opposition going to uk ask comwth to do wht they did? politics of hatred.

    • Whats so difficult to see what is at miss in present day Zambia. One more time, if the opposition was allowed to assemble without intimidation this wouldnt have happened. The shooting of the miners in South Africa or the shooting of our lozi brothers didnt call for airing of grievances in the UK or anywhere else because the various governments in questions did not muzzle the opposition. Is that too difficult for PF and its supporters to comprehend? Or are you refusing to see what is amiss?

  32. Again, on June 15, 2010, Hakainde charged that Rupiah, his children, Dora Siliya and the team were guilty of corruption the sale of Zamtel and they would never wash themselves clean. He accused Rupiah and his children and Dora of benefitting from the dirty transaction. “We are all aware that the children are travelling all over now. Somebody was caught with some cash. And they are covering it. What other reason would be motivating Dora? And look at the defence, it’s like bees just stinging around when people complain. Kavindele is called names; I am called all sorts of names,” Hakainde remarked in reference to Rupiah. But today, they are together. Hakainde is defending Rupiah’s corruption. He doesn’t want him to account in any way for any of these things. Why?

  33. On February 8, 2009, Hakainde Hichilema, as president of the UPND, accused Rupiah Banda’s government of corruption over its partial privatisation of Zamtel shares. Hakainde accused Rupiah’s government of ignoring legal procedures because of corruption. These comments of Hakainde were published in the post newspaper on February 9, 2009 (Issue No. 4498).

  34. Munyenge,
What will be the role of the opposition if they stop talking?
Where are the thugs who disrupted the Kabwata rally?
We the Nyengos are just, to borrow your term,’Kulolesyafye!’ But when we react,it will be ‘TUMU FULE!’ Google that word.

  35. THE SO CALLED EDUCATED HH HAS FAILED TO CONVINCE ZAMBIANS. SO HE GOES TO HOLD PRESS CONFERENCES ON FOREIGN SOIL. SAKENI IS GIVING YOU SOME FREE IDEAS ON HOW TO WIN PEOPLE’S SYMPATHY BUT YOU REJECT IT. SAKENI IS TELLING YOU TO APPOLOGISE TO THE ZAMBIAN VOTERS. NOT TO PF OR SATA. RIGHT NOW HH HAS OFFENDED THE VOTERS. SO PLEASE APPOLOGISE TO THE VOTERS. THE UNFORTUNATE THING FOR HH IS THAT HE DOES NOT EVEN KNOW WHO HE IS OFFENDING AND WHO HE IS NOT. AND HE DOES NOT KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE HE IS OFFENDING AND HOW MANY HE IS PLEASING. YOU CANNOT JUDGE YOUR POPULARITY BY THE NUMBER OF BLOGGERS SUPPORTING YOU ON ZWD OR LT AND THINK THAT YOU CAN WIN A BYE ELECTION LIKE THAT.

    • Sorry Mr whatever. Ni HH chabe. He means well than all PaFwakas combined. I’m very sorry to say Mr Kolwestan.
Oh, and I’ve just realised that ‘Chisenga’ and ‘Bo Munyenge whatever’ are one and the same person. Just check the capitalisation. The ***** is very mad with anyone condemning Ukwa. Seems he is a beneficiary of Ukwa’s onslaught on democracy. Every dog has its day and very soon the day will dawn and your enjoyment will vapourise like dew. HHHHHHHHHH2016666666666666666666

  36. The genuine leaders of Zambia (HH, Nevers Mumba and Sakwiba Sikota), who really bear the feelings of our plight, represented the views of the 57% majority of Zambians when they submitted our pains and sufferings to the Commonwealth. The FEAR that the PF has generated is adequate to trigger the wrath of the international communities. The PF Govt dictatorship has been exposed in the SADC region with ripples reaching-out to Europe, Asia and Americas. This international exposure of PF’s brutal destruction of human rights is the sticking point that is worrying key beneficiaries in the PF structure. Sooner or later, the punishment that has been metted out to Mugabe and his inner-circle will be extended to the Zambian President and his close supporters. God Hear Our Prayers.

  37. @ PATRICK
WHY SHOULD THE OPPOSITION KEEP ON TALKING WHEN MCS MEANS WELL.HIS PLANS ARE TO PROSPER THE NATION.THEY KEEP ON TALKING TRASH AND HH IS JUST A DISGLUNTLED MAD COW.THIS LUNATIC REFUSED THE POSITION OF VEEP IN THE PACT SO WHAT DO U EXPECT FROM SUCH A STINGY PERSON?

    • Sorry Mr whatever. Ni HH chabe. He means well than all PaFwakas combined. I’m very sorry to say Mr Bemba kolwestan.

  38. If i were you Sakeni i would sit down with government and advise that Zambia belows to all of us including opposition leaders. Fighting and defending the undefensible is a futile exercise. PF must grow up and realise they are government so the must govern all of us well. Politicking wont work sir.

  39. I wish the Almighty God, Creator of heaven and earth had given us in Zambia Valentine Shula Musakanya for the first President of our republic, we would not have known poverty as it is today. KK knows this truth although he cannot admit it.

Musakanya was the only man who had any real development plans for the country, but had no power to implement them. He tried to persuade KK but could not be listed to. KK could only listen to his team of ignoramuses.

What can bene Sakeni do for Zambia except to dress up in national colours and look very comical indeed.

    • It only has to be another Bemba isnt it? This inbreeding must stop. We should just form our own country of Bembas!

  40. I’m enjoying this. No need to apologise guys. You have made Zambia proud. Yes for PF bootlickers this is hating but for some of us this fantastic. Give the Kaponyas sleepless nights so that our rights are preserved. Who cares about Mpongwe and Livingstone? I only care about the money being spent worthlessly by PaFwaka!

  41. Countrymen,

Even if we have serious problems in the country, I don’t for one moment think that what the opposition did is the right thing. People should not be swayed by such simple gimmicks. Brave men, as told by history, are principled and never run away from home at the slightest difference in opinion. So are they going to come back to this ‘chaos’? RB should be brave enough to face the law and explain himself. HH and Mumba are being used by RB, and Mumba should know that he can never effectively work with HH. Gentlemen, come and talk about Zambia in Zambia!

  42. I f Napoleon the pig in the Animal Farm fable was to stand as presidential candidate along with Nevers Mumba and Hakainde Hichilema, I would proudly vote for Napoleon the pig, may be he would be more reasonable.

  43. You can now see for yourselves that I am a true Nationalist. I am not a Bemba Warlord as some people have suggested. I have , as you can see, allowed my personal Doctor to wear a Lozi Musisi. That is a very nice picture of my wench except for that ugly man on the right. He has spoilt it. And what is he holding in his pocket? Ubututu!

  44. I support the actions of the opposition in bringing awareness to PF misrule. I wish to ask my fellow countrymen, at what point do they think it is appropriate to resist the things that the current regime has done (beatings, arrests, no freedom)? It is a shame that Zambian democracy has been taken 30 years back due to the greed of a few individuals. Zambians are going to pay a high price if they allow dictatorship to thrive in the country. At the moment Zimbabwe is even looking better!

  45. OH SHAMELESS JOB SEEKERS, AND THEY CLAIM TO BE SPEAKING 4 THE PIPO OF Z WHEN THEY ARE JUST SPEAKING FOR THEIR OWN BELLIES! KWALIBA UMUNTU KU STATE HOUSE, ZONDA AZALEMA, WOOOOH

  46. ZAMBIAN OPPOSITION PARTIES ANALYSED: I had a liking for HAKAINDE before the elections. And I thought he will be the next president after SATA. But what I am seeing in him and NEVERS are people who are not prepared to offer checks and balances for the improvement of the well being of the people. What they are doing are daring the government and when the government acts they cry foul and persecution. I cannot dwell much on this as some of the things are in the courts of law. I am not P.F. P.F has made mistakes in their governance which have disapointed their supporters as well. And if they don’t perform, people will definately deny them another term, no-matter the tactics. But it seems the oppostion bent on frustrating and and force a presidential by-elect. But P.F has a five yr…

  47. Has anyone seen Innocent Chimfutumba? He masquerades under various aliases.
Be warned. He is “Zimbwi” the charlatan and mole. Like a deranged vulture he preys on people’s character. He is all over the Internet sniffing out stories and writing gibberish about people and issues he hardly understands. Google his name and you’ll see what I mean. I have compiled his texts in both the “LT and ZWD. At times he wears the hat of a skunk, spraying his terrible malodorous smell. He claims to be learned. Read all his comments (How I wish I could display them). He’s a moron who writes in colloquial English—semi-literate style. Learned bloggers write well even in haste. His writing is best described by one blogger: “so many words with no sense.” His punctuation is terrible and typos aplenty.

  48. Much as I may not like what Mr. Sakeni is saying, I strongly feel he is right in one aspect. Engaging foreign Lawyers at the expense of zambian laywers and disparaging your country in a foreign land is shameful and very unpatrotic. We have precedents of Ex-presidents being persecuted; Kaunda by Chiluba regime and Chiluba by Mwanawasa regime and none ran and backed like SPINELESS dogs in the backyard of another country. While PF may be violating and habouring persons of questionable characters, wouldn’t it be prudent for the so called opposition to tabulate these violations to the zambian people who ultimately will decide who rules them next. It is disenginous for those suspected to have looted the coffers of zambia to divert people’s attention from real issse at hand, which prosection!!

    • Indeed, it is a pity that some people are equating it to me having my nuts fixed in India. Some of them have the audacity to point out that I should be treated at UTH since it is my government, my health minister, my UTH MD that are running Zambia’s biggest hospital! But who cares? Honestly you can all go to hell!

  49. Well wishers two wrongs do not make a right. If PF is wrong are you telling me you have exhausted all means of addressing this issue.
Nga wala bila imbila pa chulu or mamutenge you are a coward.
Nevers man of God what does the bible say???? i wonder if you are listening to God.
Please twapapata Zambia is a mature nation who should lead by example

  50. petty useless boy, when are going to get it mumusula obe that mcs is the president and not privatisation thieving hapless brat with appetite for ifintu nibwangu which he doesnt sweet for.

  51. These fools should feel ashamed of them selves. As president sata correctly said saki was the only clean man among these *****s.

  52. “ON JUNE 15, 2010, I, HH, WAS QUOTED BY THE POST NEWSPAPER AS SAYING THAT RB, HIS CHILDREN, DORA & CO. WERE GUILTY OF CORRUPTION IN THE SALE OF ZAMTEL & THAT THEY WOULD NEVER WASH THEMSELVES CLEAN. I ALSO CHARGED THAT RB, HIS CHILDREN & DORA OF BENEFITING FROM THE DIRTY TRANSACTION LIKE I DID BENEFIT IN CHILUBA’S GOVENMENT. I ALSO SAID AT THE TIME THAT RB’S CHILDREN WERE SUDDENLY TRAVELLING ALL OVER IN CHARTERED PLANES….AT THE TIME, RB’S CARTEL WERE CALLING ME & HON ENOCK KAVIDELE ALL SORTS OF NAMES….” WELL, UPDN CADRES, I MIGHT HAVE BEEN DREAMING. I WAS MISQUOTED BY THE POST. RB WAS INNOCENT & I VOW TO STAND BY HIS SIDE. RB, LAWYER ARMSTEDAM, CHIMBA3 & REVEREND RON SHIKAPWASHA ARE MY WITNESSES.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT-OFFICE OF THE BANTUS-TAN PRESIDENT.

  53. RB,HH,SIKOTA,NEVERS and SATA, who is the least educated person among these five? Who ever has the lowest education must apologies to others. And should ask for guidance.

  54. Then the fake man of God had a press conference at his Kabulonga residence and he claims HE Sata is supressing freedom of speech
    It does not make sense
This is madness at its worst Pastor

  55. HH had a field day on UNZA Radio yesterday. He even insinuated that the PF government has imposed a silent state of emergency in Western province! How come he was not arrested if this country has no freedom of speech? He left the studio and walked confidently with his entourage back to his vehicle without any harassment whatsoever. I was at UNZA at the time and witnessed the whole event. My question is: if he could speak so freely on UNZA Radio, did he need to go to South Africa to complain about the PF government’s alleged abuse of human rights?

  56. Sakeni is that short?? No wonder he is stubborn and continues to issue unguided responses on government responses. Bloody kafupi.!!!

  57. Sakeni must first tell the nation what the government’s position is on the accusations. It is a futile exercise to demand for an apology when you have not justified whether what the opposition went to present is true or not. The question is whether the government is denying the allegations; and if it is then let them provide evidence that such atrocities have not been committed in this country. To the opposition, that was very commendable because the international community must know how oppressive this regime is. People are failing to express themselves for fear of retribution. Even blogging is going to be monitored. Do you think this is normal? Isn’t this oppression and a gag on people’s freedom of expression? We are not moving economically because of wrong priorities.

  58. Serious minded people should be ashamed with our politicians that they have resorted to outsiders to solve our problems. The Foreigners you are addressing are not voters. Its we the voters whom the Opposition have to win to their favour. Govt could do well not to respond to every ranting from opposition, who by now should be showing us in good political conduct that they could make better alternative parties to Govt insteady of sympathy-seeking from foreigners. Opposition leaders have made Govt stubborn because they refuse to cooperate and just want to take over power even before 2016. When they get controlled firmly, they cry as human rights abuse. When they insult Govt it is ok, shame!

  59. Dont take what my minions and I say seriously!. We are charlattans. We are congenital liars! You believe what we say at your own peril! Honestly we are just a cluess pack of Hyenas! We thought running a govt was easy. To be honest with you; it is very difficult. But what can we do other than continue campaigning against the MMD and UPND? You made a mistake electing us. The only good thing that will come of this; is that you would have learnt a lesson!
