Crucified 11 year old boy out of danger and discharged from Hospital

THE 11 -year -old boy that was allegedly ‘nailed’ to a tree by a 35 year old man in Chisamba, Central province has been discharged from hospital.

The boy had his hands and feet nailed to a tree after his assailant tied him with a rope for allegedly stealing his catapults as part of the punishment.

Acting Central provincial Medical Officer Abel Kabalo said the boy who was nailed by Stanley Chinyama was out of danger and that there was no need to keep him in hospital.

“I want to confirm that the boy was treated and has been discharged though he had the sign of nail wounds in the palms and legs, “Dr Kabalo said.

Last week Central Province Police Commissioner Standwell Lungu confirmed the arrest of a man who is alleged to have crucified a boy from Kapini area in Chisamba over catapults.

At the time the boy was found, he was unconscious and was only rescued by his parents who rushed to the scene after they were informed by a friend to the boy who witnessed the nailing while hiding in the nearby bush.

Mr Lungu said the boy was earlier dragged to the nearby bush around 12.00 hours where Mr Chinyama tied him to the tree with a belt and started nailing him.

“It is shocking that in this time and age, someone could act in such a manner to a defenseless boy and as police we will continue ensuring that those involved in such acts face the law,” Mr Lungu said.

The boy could not scream for help because the suspect had threatened to kill him but a friend to the boy who was watching from afar went to report to his parents who later rushed to the scene.

Mr Lungu said the suspect has since been arrested and charged with unlawful wounding and would appear in court soon.

  1. When Sata heard about that crucifixion of poor boy, he laughed his lungs off. It was George Chela who cut that peace of news and gave his boss has a “joke of the day”.

  2. Eish, this surely is cruelity at its best!. We are not in the days of Pilate for someone to religiously nail a young boy to a tree.

    • how i wish it was u facing that punishment. u sound like u could have learnt a quicker lesson through that brutal way. the bible states that if u yourself have never sinned b4 do it. im sure u know what i mean if u r a christian .

  3. “UNLAWFUL WOUNDING!” My foot. PLease ba Police, stop toying with people’s emotions. Find another charge with at least the word MURDER in it. These are the chaps against whom Instant cum Mob justice should be meted.

    • Flagrante Delicto, my bro these cops are corrupt & most likely relatives to the murderous adult have paid something for a wrong charge to be put up. The little boy merely survived the cruxification because of the observant friend who also is very intelligent and courageous for quickly getting help. Of course this is a case of attempted murder! Atase Fikapokola!

  4. @No. 2 Nostradamus given a chance to meet the our Republican President MCS what can you ask from him? its seems you hate him so much

    • Jerry, this boy was crucified except for spearing the ribs he would have died! He even passed out/fainted due to pain! This man is a masochist and he should be sent to jail for a longtime before he escalates and starts killing children through cruxification!

  5. So then, if there is unlawful wounding, then there must be lawful wounding??…, please when will start to value human life. That crazy man nailed a child to a tree! that child is so lucky to be alive. what else did he have to do for the courts to call it attempted murder? hmm
