People’s party president Mike Mulongoti says party has scoffed at the MMD by stating that his new political party has a better agenda for the Zambian people than the former ruling party.

And Mr Mulongoti says it is too late for the former ruling party to invite him to rejoin them and help reorganize the MMD.

Mr. Mulongoti has told Qfm news in an interview that some members of the opposition MMD are being selfish by trying to find faults in him and his newly formed People party.

He recalls how when he was fired by former republican president Rupiah Banda in February 2011, none of the national executive committee members present stood up to defend him.

Mr. Mulongoti explains that now that he has began a new life in politics, he will not be swayed by any selfish politician to rejoin the former ruling party.

And Mr. Mulongoti pointed out that MMD vice president Dr. Brian Chituwo and other members calling on him to rejoin the party should not pretend to care when they were part of the team that threw him out of the MMD.

He has since maintained that his party has a unique manifesto and the Zambian people would soon be able to access it in all provinces.

  1. Mike isn’t going back to our mighty and clean MMD bcoz his party is all about him and his mission to get to plot one.We in MMD put him on a one way single stage missile outta MMD with no recall button.

  2. Not everyone who forms a party can become President of Zambia, in this case, Mike Mulongoti.

I can state here that Mulongoti is, and will never be presidential material

    CNP

  3. CNP, at one time Nawakwi said,” SATA will never be president of Zambia.” Who is the current president of Zambia?

  4. ba ‘nantoriopus’ you are the hungry hyena, the person you refer to as hungry hyena has billions of dollars yet your self survives on ‘ndelomba ubwafwilisho’. southern people are principled hardworking people not easily swayed kaponyapolotics of the belly. so dont deceive your fellow true hungry hyena mulongoti that he can garner support for his family party. it has no secretary or any other position, just the president at a press briefing. it will collapse faster than chipoimo’s narapa

  5. Is there some form of defence to protect a person when on forms a political party? Many people who have formed these parties do so after some frustrations. Is forming a political party a form of self defense and from what? Many parties that continue springing up in Zambia has no principle that is so different from the rest! They are all non aligned non communism no capitalism. They are not even based on any well know agendas like Labour, liberalism, Nationalism, Environment, etc. They all just parrot same political agendas of the rest. So why do they form political parties? Is there protectionism in it or what is it? Is there funding that these characters rush for? Is it the only platform available when one is very frustrated with everybody and everything? Does it really matter?

  6. kALING’O
What about Mr. Munkombwe has he stopped to be Southerner?. You are a fool. Every Zambian is had working and principled. You call supporting the corrupt principles. You can hung with your principles Chi. Kala.

  7. In another world I’d puke every time I see a politician. Some are so disgusting I wonder if they think normally

  8. MULONGOTI WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT JUST LIKE HH THEY HAVE THE SAME MENTALITY DESPITE A ONE BEING A TRIBALIST HH THAT’S WHAT MAKES HIM UNIQUE

  9. People are busy calling PF as a one state Government, but at the same time, they dare someone to stand up and form a political party, on top of that they call Sata a dictator which makes me think mmmmmmm……., if you dont want Mulongoti to form a political party, you have someone in mind who you think is a right person, wait a minute now…., doesnt Mulongoti have the right to form his party in a democratic government? ain’t you yourself not a dictator? Oh no, i forgot, it can only be when it comes to some fellows you so prefer best, but not Mulongoti, how ironic! Very dull chaps we have in Zambia contradicting themselves.

  10. Mulongoti, Chama Chakomboka, Rodger Chongwe, Milupi, Cosmo Mumba, Nevers Mumba, CHifire….etc, same blood *****s. Add some more names bafikalaa!

  11. EVEN IF HH HAD BILLIONS OF KWACHAS I BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE NO LONGER BILLIONS AFTER SCRAPPING OUT THE 3 ZEROS, CHECK YOUR FACTS MR. AND YOU ARE EVEN SAYING BILLIONS OF DOLLERS, MAY ZIMBABWEN DOLLERS BUT NOT $.

  12. Mulongoti is a sell out and nobody who has witnessed the recent elections and post-election period should trust him. Together with Mangani, they sold-out their own brother to the forest. Mulongoti is toxic. He has forgotten that both him and Mangani were fired after RB found out they were scheming with Sata – who has since ditched them and they deserve being ditched because even Sata could not trust them. Anybody who can sell out a family member is not worth anything to the rest of the citizens. THe only time Mulongoti will be president is when current babies and children who don’t know him, when they grow up and listen to his forked-togue – just like the way the young *****s who didn’t know sata voted pf into power and now they are suffering!

  13. Mulongoti should ask Magande and Sondashi as to what has happened to their Parties after a lot of fanfare during launching of these Parties.Mulongoti will go the same way.

  14. @ notorious: While I appreciate Mulongoti’s right to form a Party, he has no chance in Southern Province for now. Not even in his own home area the Lamba land does he have any chance for now. In future I may never know since I’m not a prophet.

  15. mwebo bamwisho mulebako serious.kwenka ukusabaila kwati ni nsumbi baputulako ukoshi.lekeni ukwangasha abantu. kwena ndepapafye.ba mulongoti ,ba magande. ba hh.ba sakala. ba BY. ba mumba bonse mulemonakwati tapalipo umutuntulu.
