Konkola Blades coach Beston Chambeshi has saluted his new team’s 3-0 victor over Kabwe Warriors in the FAZ Super Division Week 15 match played at Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe.

Chambeshi engineered Blades’ first win in eight matches in his first game in charge of Sharp Razor.

He said the team’s first win since 4 May was a sign of good things to come at the club.

“It is a sweet victory,” Chambeshi said.

A goal each from Lazarous Kambole, Peter Zulu and Humphrey Maseneko propelled Blades to a rare win this season.

“The boys played well and it was not an easy win because Warriors played well.”

He added:”We have to improve on this result.”

Chambeshi said he wants to improve Konkola’s status in the FAZ Super Division.

“Konkola has been a big club; I am hoping to take the team to higher heights,”

“I am at the right club, at the right time.”
