    • Yes, RIP BY. We knew you as a kind but shrewd politician–that’s politics. Your name shall ever be etched in the annuals of our history. By the way I am the real Nostradamus. The guy with an American flag is an impostor. He misrepresents the name Nostradamus with his shallow comments. Take a hike.

  1. BA ZWD WER SAYING HE IS BEDRIDDEN HOW COME HE IS ABLE TO WALK ON HIS OWN. ZWD SHUD BE CLOSED EVEN ON FACEBOOK WER THEY ARE ABLE TO APPEAR

    • iwe mbuli don’t play with Facebook, you need advanced gadget to access ZWD site. What software are you using which fails to bypass the firewall(blockade) placed by dull chinese? Get yourself an IT guru to show you how to surf the internet and how to break into blocked sites.Usachite uchisilu apa, sha.

    • Why do you also befriend them on Facebook. I can never watch Fox News even if its on my tv. Do the same and have a happy life.

    • The beauty about the stupid zwd using the Faceebook is they cant bloke anyone now like they used to on their silly web site. So tulebatuka bafitole without hindrance! So from here im going for them. Easy meat. Twakulabatuka paka bakanye utufi twaba nyinabo.

  2. Longest serving Defence Minister?? How many Defence contracts to his name, pa Zed you are only respected by hypocrites when you are no more a threat.

  3. The only way rich party funders get their money back in Zambia is by being rewarded with a Defence ministry position.

  4. R.I.P BY its a trying moment for the family ,losing two children within a month and some few months a Dad, i remember in Prayers. may God comfort you

    • Tell them mwana balitumpa bafitole aba. By the way if u want to insult here dont use “bafikala” they rub it off, u must use “bafitole” they dont know it yet fitole fyabo

  5. LT, Sometimes your reports are very confusing and unreliable, your headline reads, ‘Sata leads scores of mourners’ and the main report reads ‘the president leads hundreds of mourners’. Which is which? In case you didn’t know ‘scores’ are 20’s and of course hundreds are 100’s. There is a huge difference in terms of estimates. LT please jack up your standards.

    • Its amazing how people like you complain about trivial things.20 can go into 100 five times .so if there were hundreds of people it can be deduced that there were scores of people also. You can measure time in seconds or hours, distane in cm or metres- it the same thing man!

    • @The London eye, we are not in an English essay class. What is wrong with you zambians kansi? Stick to the issue. Whether the president lead two or a million people at the funeral, it does not matter. His presence is the only issue here. You are disappointed that the president was there.

    • You are right! We expect decent and trained journalists to convey an accurate summary of the full text in the head line. Scores invariably means less than 100, so if in fact there were hundreds then it is fair to conclude that the heading is misleading! Trivial as this may seem to some, it is actually about the integrity of the message rather than the language (this is not about English).

    • @hacker & kapala,
It is not a coincidence that both of you have highlighted the ‘it does not matter’ mentality which is responsible for mediocrity in the country.
Kapala, you have chosen to distort my view to satisfy your malicious agenda by falsely accusing me of not being happy about the president’s presence. Can’t you be truthful for once?

  6. I remember my late former Minister as a man who had a big heart. Once upon a time, I engineered to write a letter to him soliciting for donations for Church building in Luanshya, as we struggled to raise funds for the same. Then the late former Minister came to our rescue. I personally handed him the letter, the next morning I received a call from him asking where he could deliver the bricks, Sand and Stones?. With God having inspired him, the next morning 4,500 bricks, 3 Truck load of Sand and Stones were delivered at Church site. The SDA Church, housing 300 Souls was built due to the good heart the late former Minister MR Mwila had. May his Soul rest in peace and may Our Lord Jesus Christ strengthen the family. Remember dear sons and daughters your father was a Champion for a good cause.

  7. RIP MR BY

SATA Cobra Chilufya M, come back to serious business now. The Lozis are becoming too big for their underpants. For the sake of peace, kill their leaders. Simple! it is important to emulate Machiavellian type of leadership. Because if you leave them, they would continue with nonsense. its time to move on

    • Killing them would not be the best solution.Remember the saying “Do’nt argue with a fool for they will not differentiate whose wise”.Let take development there and speed up decentralisation so that the Litunga will have the needed power and say so that we see wht those old men will have to say.

  11. Being bedridden does not mean you can’t stand up to go to the toilet, sitting room or take a walk to inspect the watering of state house lawns! It just means you are not functioning like other presidents who visited all corners of the country while you just peep at the cameras while missing your comfortable bed. The man could have drank a concoction of redbull, lucozade, Nakambala syrup, kabompo honey and burn energiser. Does that answer your question you dunderhead! Don’t bring zambian watchdog issues on Lusaka Times
