Injured Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan is a doubt for this Friday’s crucial 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Ghana and Zambia in Kumasi.
Ghana team doctor Baba Adamu has hinted striker Gyan could be withdrawn from the Black Stars squad for the deciding World Cup qualifier against Zambia.
According to Ghanasoccernet.com, the striker is struggling with a suspected hamstring injury following his failure to complete the team’s second training session on Tuesday morning in Accra.
Gyan was again made to rest for the afternoon session as the team’s medical team continue to closely monitor the Al Ain striker.
“It was during training that he felt heavy in his thighs and complained of some pains,” Dr. Baba said.
“So we will continue monitoring the situation when we come to Kumasi [on Wednesday].
“If the situation doesn’t improve we will have to take a decision on him.”
Gyan’s possible withdrawal would serve a massive blow to the Black Stars who are hoping to have all of its players fully fit for the expected grueling encounter against Zambia on Friday.
we do nOt feAR Gyan,we have beaten them several times with him AS THEIR captain and us without Jacob Mulenga…they fear us ..its only us who underrate ourselves guys…GO CHIPOLOPOLO!!!
This is of no consequence to us, coz the only result we want can only happen if we keep SCORING
hahahaha even without ba Gyan we’ll massacre the tupololopos. Go Ghana 4 tupolopolo 0. anything less than that will be a big disappointement to me personally. we have to shut up these loud-mouthed zambians once and for all. hahahaha
Hey Tup…,
Tomorrow after the game send the same message on this same blog.
Good Luck
You have failed twice, even this time you are failing. We will nature you properly.
Chabija, he was supposed to be in the team when we wallop them so that he too gets fired with the rest of his teammate yuppers
Ghana has to be a full house. We dont want excusses when we silence them
MULEIKALA FYE. UKUSABAILA KWEKAKWEKA YANGU! ITS 4 – 0 IN FAVOUR OF GHANA.
Now its balanced,
Zambia missing J. Mulenga and Ghana no Assamoa Gyan, and both teamshave South Africa based goalkeepers, and both teams have T.P Mazembe defenders!!
Ni chipaye no lamwina!!
Chipaye no lamwina Ba Nostra indeed, am somehow so excited i cant wait, so many things have been said and curses we have heard, judgement day is here.
@Cindy, yaaa I heard that from you!!
He will miss thats just a fact, if he insist playing we should know where to hit…… make sure he doesnt last more than 15seconds, but becarefull i suspect this game will be full of foul play from the Ghanians, faking of injuries on th pitch to clinch fake free kicks and penalties, so am urging you my boys to be calculative in every move you make, lets play!
But why is Gyan injured please? We need them at full strength so that the victory is sweeter. Go Zambia go. We last lost to Ghana in Senegal 1992 via Abedi Pele’s goal (1-0). From then on it has been 1-0 in our favour ( SA ’96, Gabon 2012 and Ndola 2012). I have never seen Ghana panic like this in my whole life!! Mwafwa baisa!!
Cawama, at least maybe, just maybe, we could reduce the loss margin
with or without Gyan, the scoreline remains the same. Ghana 4 Zambia 0. hahahahaha cheap-polio-polio. we will put zambia where they belong- in the dustbin! heheheheh

“Judgment Day is Here indeed,” as Cindy has said. May the best team win!
The mistreatment given to our team each time they visit another team should be considered a blessing to us as a nation, we have no such a bad history. I feel Gyan’s injury scare is a direct punishment on behalf of fellow country men mistreating our team.
I just want to wish our guyz “BEST LUCKY” balekeni balenda abeni baleimwenamo nga fyacitika. Zambia liikulu.
