Brave Nchanga Rangers players on Thursday morning donated assorted items worth over K3,000 to Chingola’s Nchanga North General Hospital.

The donated items bought from personal contributions by players included beddings, mealie meal, sugar and cooking oil among others.

Speaking on behalf of his team mates, midfielder Martin Daka said Nchanga players realises that they have a duty to help the needy.

“As a club we would like to be associated with this hospital by showing love to the less privileged people in society,” Daka said.
And hospital senior nursing officer Georgina Chipowe saluted the players for the gesture.

“We are humbled as a hospital by your gesture in that you are young people but you can think about this hospital’s needs,” she said.

Nchanga coach Fighton Simukonda, his assistant Elijah Tana and club president Blackwell Siwale witnessed the donation.
