Zambia defender Aaron Katebe is eyeing glory as his Zimbabwean side FC Plantinum takes on Shabanie Mine in the BancABC Super8 Cup final at Mandava Stadium on Saturday.
This is Katebe’s first season at Platinum after leaving another Zimbabwean team Hwange late last year.
The former Afrisports defender has established himself as one of the reliable players at Platinum.
Katebe has played for the Zambia National Team four times.
Meanwhile, the local media reports that this is the first time the two local rivals from Zvishavane town are meeting in a cup final.
Katebe’s Platinum are favourites over Shabanie as they parade national team stars Nelson Mazivisa, Charles Sibanda and Donald Ngoma.
However, Shabanie stunned Platinum 1-0 in the league encounter earlier this year.
