The United Party for National Development (UPND) has observed that the continued unwarranted verbal attacks on former Defence Minister Geoffrey Mwamba following his resignation are unwarranted.
UPND deputy Spokesperson Edwin Lifwekelo said that such attacks could be a ploy by a cartel of alleged desperate individuals in the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) to have Mr Mwamba expelled from the party.
In statement issued to Qfm,Mr Lifwekelo has also advised those seeking jobs in PF administration to stop using Mr. Mwamba’s resignation as a platform to secure favours from the President Michael Sata.

Mr.Lifwekelo said such people should take a deep reflection and soul searching as to whether their attacks on the Kasama central Member of Parliament are genuine or mere cosmetic.
Mr Lifwekelo added that going by his recent attacks on Mr. Mwamba, former Kasama central Member of Parliament Saviour Chishimba has exhibited serious hypocrisy over the stance taken by President Sata.
He recalled that during a 2nd October, 2008 press briefing held in Lusaka, Dr Chishimba while still Kasama central Member of Parliament issued scathing attacks on President Sata’s leadership qualities.
Mr. Lifwekelo said that Dr. Chishimba during the same press briefing described President Sata as a dictator and likened him the likes of Idi Amin of Uganda, Adolf Hitler of Germany and the Soviet Union’s Joseph Stalin.
Mr. Lifwekelo said this is why it is hypocritical for Dr. Chishimba to make a different statement about President today now that he is Head of State.

Pf have made GBM a man of the people especially in kasama. Like it or not PF will lose the kasama seat if an election is held to day. In fact let may advise GBM to resign today while the iron is still hot so as to teach Sata some few lessons.

I CAN’T IMAGINE AN ALLIANCE OF GBM, NEVERS, HH AND FATHER FRANK. IF THEY CAME TO POWER WE WOULD SEE THE SAME PROBLEMS WE ARE SEEING IN PF TODAY, STRUGGLE FOR POWER UNLESS FR. FRANK IS GIVEN A POSITION BETTER THAN ZESCO CHAIRMAN AND GBM BETTER THAN DEFENCE MINISTER OR MAYBE SOME BUSINESS DEALS. CHIPIMO SHOULDN’T EVEN MAKE A MISTAKE OF JOINING SUCH AN ALLIANCE THEY’LL JUST MAKE HIM A COUNCILLOR.
Dr Chishimba like all the other jobless people are job seekers. A dictator can never change except if he is struck by the light of Christ on the ‘road to Damascus’. Sata is still Sata. Sata is still Saul of Tarsus, the persecutor of God’s people!!!!!!!!
Did the PF go into government with a genuine plan to run the country ? Children from Grade 1 to Four to be taught in venacular languages, what is the hassal with the current curriculum set up, what harm is there ? I can foresee a broadway leading Zambia into the woods, CNP.
The hypocritical overt behaviour of “Dr.” Saviour Chishimba in his utterance is a vivid picture of unethical behaviour and politics of appeasement. The fact that this man does not have a PhD does not mean he cannot cultivate, embrace and uphold the tenets characteristic of integrity and credibility.
Zambia has a great number of politicians if not all of them that appease those in positions such as Republican Presidency in order to attract for self-benefit. Every behaviour is caused, and thus “Dr.” Chishimba’s without any doubt caused and has a behavioural correlate. I hypothetically, call this phenominon “Cosmetic Belly-Centered politics” and this environmental attribute amongst most of the Zambian politicians MUST sublime. He however, has the right to his own opinion, but not…

Its nice to note Lifwekelo is healthy and fit again to continue where him and his friend Siulapwa left. And am also happy for him that hes found and joined a party that really suits his kind, infact seriously, i think if given chance he could do better than HH in 2016.
GBM, NEVERS, FR. FRANK AND HH CAN NEVER MAKE A WORKABLE ALLIANCE, THEY ALL HAVE ONE THING IN COMMON – PRIDE AND ALL HAVE PLOT 1 AMBITIONS. (BA NGOSHE TABEKALA ICHULU CHIMO). THEY CANNOT CO-EXIST IN ONE FORMATION.

Too early to say GBM and Nevers can not work under HH. Just wait and see both them join forces under HH to remove Sata.
These two Nevers and GBM carry a Bemba tag which people are now associating with bad leadership as proved by Chiluba and Sata both Bembas. Even Nevers once acknowledged that non Bembas are beginning to doubt the Bemba ‘s ability to lead Zambia because all bad leadership is now being associated with Bembas. Too bad for my tribal cousins because they are so gullible that they can even sell their wives for money.

People kindly spare us with lies that GBM is so popular in Kasama . I hail from Kasama and I know how Kasama central constituency can be tricky since UNIP/ MMD. First late Walinkonde was formerly known as mr Kasama central. No one knew that the late Daniel Kapapa can beat Walinkonde. Then Daniel lost Dr chishimba under PF but Chishimba became too big and that was how GBM was chosen by PF and was elected. As I’m writing people are waiting to hear what GBM will decide and then go for a kill. Kasama is not developed like Chipata or other parts of Zambia due Area MPs do not lobby the govt but want to give people £300 equivalent K32.000 as being the man of the people . ALL children from pre-school to grade four will be taught in local Zambian languages beginning Monday next week.
And the Ministry of Education plans to turn more than 200 basic schools into day schools.
Education minister Dr John Phiri said in an interview yesterday that private, missionary, quasi-government and government schools would have to follow the new curriculum, which entails teaching in local languages from pre-school to grade four.
He said children would be taught in the seven major local languages depending on where they live.
“It will work very well in rural areas unless your Luvale son who wants to learn in English. But don’t you want your son to know Luvale?” he asked.
Dr Phiri said the Grade Seven results had shown that pupils did very well in local language…
