Chipolopolo defender Christopher Munthali is excited to stay at Nkana after his parent club Power Dynamos decided to extend his loan deal at the Wusakile outfit.
Munthali’s initial season long loan deal expired last December but the player refused to return to Arthur Davies.
The ex-Zambia Under-23 defender said he wants to be part of the Nkana squad that will compete in the 2014 CAF Champions League.
“I am very happy to stay at Nkana. For me it’s OK to stay at Nkana and not to go back to Power,” Munthali said.
“It is a plus for me to be at Nkana because of Champions League. Any player is looking for forward to play in the Champions League,” he added.
Munthali was one of the best performers at Nkana last season and his display earned him the Most Featured Player Award at the club’s awards ceremony staged last Saturday.
“I am very happy to be honoured as the most featured player of the year, for me it is a stepping stone,” he reacted.
Nkana is a team to stay in if you want a career!
Let him go backto his club Forest rangers were he is popular at NKANA he is finished
you are welcome to stay…just play better football both in he champions league and the our faz League
Despite the fact that I am a Power Dynamos fan, I welcome Christopher’s decision. The CAF champions league will give him the necessary experience and exposure to make him a dependable member of the chipolopolo.
