Mighty Mufulira Wanderers lost their first game of the 2014 FAZ Division One North season on Sunday when Gomes Wanderers stunned them 3-2 in Ndola.

The result ended Mighty’s two match-unbeaten start to the season after defeating Kitwe United 2-1 in their opening fixture before settling for a goalless draw with their archrivals Mufulira Blakpool.

Goals from Sydney Phiri, Mako Sinyangwe and Guldo Lubaba were enough to condemn Mighty to their first loss of the season.
