Zambia go into the draw in Pot 1 meaning they will avoid Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Mali and Tunisia thanks to the seven sides classification points accumulated in the qualifiers and participation in the 2010, 2012 and 2013 tournaments.

Pot 2 contains Algeria, Angola, Cape Verde, Togo, Egypt, South Africa and Cameroon.
