  1. Hmmm… Chishimba was so quick!! I guess every move (robbery) was planned way before the gun was stolen…and hey LT, what is this you have written: “took advantage to STOLE the gun”? Damn!!! Is this grammar really coming from you? Furthermore, are you sure its Evance and not Evans? Anyway, your news is loud and clear.

  2. Sergeant, how could you be so careless, especially that the gun was loaded? “Mutale and Chishimba are charged with one count of theft of a gun,” what about the serious case of armed robbery? People who use guns in robberies should be put away for a long time, so add the charge of armed robbery, please.

  3. Why does a Zambian army office carry a loaded gun…or just a gun…when there are panga boys doing their jobs. The job they do as i know them is to jut sit around from morning to sun set at the offices reading newspapers, telling storoes and drinking.

  5. what was a sgt who is a medical officer assinged to a clinic doing with an assult rifle. Unless he doubles as a sentry.

  6. Just some poor reporting, the lowest rank for medical officers in the Army and indeed defense forces is a captain and these guys are usually at maina soko or camp hospitals, and a Sgt is not an officer.

  7. @sir, get your records correct, a Sgt is a Non- Commissioned OFFICER. Whilst Captain and so on are Commissioned OFFICERS. what is wrong with calling a sergeant ‘officer’ in short?
