Aliance ffor Better Zambia leader Father Frank Bwalya has accused President Michael Sata of behaving like a Devil in the way he has blocked the installation of Henry Kanyanta Sosala as the new Paramount Chief Chitimukulu.
In a statement released to the media, father Bwalya said that the unilateral action of Mr Sata has caused a lot of pain and suffering on the part of Sosala and President Sata seems to be enjoying seeing Sosala and his subjects suffer.
“Only a “devil” would enjoy seeing other people suffer in this manner, ” read the statement.

MAY 13, 2014.
President Michael Chilufya Sata has behaved like a “devil” over the issue of the installation of Paramount Chief Chitimukulu of the Bemba people. He has shown lack of feelings and humanity in the manner he has abused his presidential powers to block the installation of Henry Kanyanta Sosala as the new Paramount Chief Chitimukulu.
The unilateral action of Mr Sata has caused a lot of pain and suffering on the part of Sosala and President Sata seems to be enjoying seeing Sosala and his subjects suffer. Only a “devil” would enjoy seeing other people suffer in this manner.
It has also become evident that President Sata has anointed himself as the high priest of hatred and sadism who is not moved by the suffering of other people. He has shown that he is deaf to cries for help.
What is worrying is that he has been baptizing his ministers and many around him in the waters of hatred for Henry Kanyanta Sosala. This explains why ministers who are supposed to oppose the illegal conduct of Mr Sata have instead been shamelessly supporting his bad conduct.
One person who has refused to step into the baptismal pool of Sata’s waters of hatred is PF Kasama Central member of parliament Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba popularly known as GBM. For his refusal, GBM is now being pursued like a terrorists.
It is time for Zambians to rise and oppose this unprecedented abuse of power by the President. Failure to rise and oppose Mr Sata would be tantamount to giving him a license to abuse his authority. Next time, Mr Sata will exhibit the same conduct on other important public issues and eventually endanger the peace and stability of our country.

Meanwhile, Father Bwalya has announced that that the Opposition Alliance will hold a press briefing tomorrow at the MMD Secretariat near Friday’s corner at 09:30 hours and that the media is kindly invited to the press briefing.

Frank the Tonga Bull, Why did President Chiluba refuse to recognize Sosala as Chief? Why did the MMD recognizeYambayamba a Junior as Chitmukulu when Sosala was there? Why did Mwanawasa opt to recognize Mpepo a junior Chief as Chiti when Sosala was there? Is it not because the man is too vocal or is a public seeker? Would the Litunga do that?
Frank you suggest that Sata hates Sosala. But when did the issue of Bemba succession routes start? Is it when Sata was President or it started in UNIP?
Surely, Sosala was not in the equation when ba Shilubemba summoned Sata to appear before them for opposing the appointment of a Junior Chief Mpepo as Chiti.
Sata and Mpepo even reconciled and agreed to go back to routes. This is what agitated Sosala. He started fighting long before Mpepo died.

@ Ganja Farmer, the problem to me is what you call Bemba (or icibemba). True Bemba is only spoken in Lubemba. The version you hear in towns is pigeon Bemba – may be it should be called something else. Nyanja is not called Chewa even though the two have similarities. Mr Ganja Farmer, how come you don’t have a problem with Lozis, Tongas, Bembas etc. who speak Nyanja? Is it because your are an easterner as you claim? @ ganja farmer – the Bemba spoken in towns is not proper Bemba but ‘pigeon Bemba’. Proper Bemba is only spoken ku Lubemba. I think ‘pigeon Bemba’ should be given a different name just like Nyanja is not called Chewa despite the similarities. In Lusaka, Tongas, Lozis, Bembas etc. speak Nyanja because it is the lingua franca. So why do you find it a problem when Tongas and Lozis speak ‘pigeon Bemba’ where it is a lingua franca? These are harsh words. It is up to the President and his advisors to read the mood of the masses. Fr. Bwalya is spokesperson of the masses. It foretells of things to come. Mr. President, as a true friend of Sata family, I advise you to listen to Fr. Bwala, he is doing you a favour by letting out his anger. Any action against him and opposition parties and their leaders will make their resolve stronger and make many to cross the threshold. It is very complicated and buffling why Mwine Lubemba Henry Kanyata Sosala always finds himself on the wrong side of government. His saga started way back before Sata become president. In 2008, he was de-gazetted as Senior Chief Mwamba and only gazetted in 2011, because he was a ferocious critic of the then MMD through his well researched and articulated articles in The Post. Now he is having problemns getting gazetted as Mwine Lubemba Chitimukulu – Kanyanta Manga II.
