Sata is a property of the Zambian people – Milupi

ADD President Charles Milupi says he does not agree with government’s resolve to allow only state house to be the sole source of updates about President Michael Sata.

On Friday last week in parliament Vice President Guy Scott told the house that government had resolved that only state house will issue statements to update the nation on President Sata.

But Mr. Milupi has told QFM news that he does not agree with government’s resolve because the country’s head of state is a property of the people of Zambia.

Mr. Milupi says this is why the president’s health is always a concern to the people of Zambia whenever he is said to be unwell.

The ADD president says it is on this basis that he thinks that the Patriotic Front (PF) government is allegedly being dishonest by not telling the Zambian people the status of their leader.

He says he is of the view that if the PF government had been open to the Zambian people about the status of president Sata’s health, people would have been more empathic if indeed he was unwell.

Mr. Milupi says this is also especially that leaders like him do not want to make president Sata’s health a political issue.

  1. Guy Scott and Kapeya told you the health status of the president. What else do you want ? You get confused because you mix what you read on Zambian watchdog(they are claiming Sata is on his death bed after doctors refused to give him a kidney transplant) and what you hear from the government. It is up to you to use your discernment in order to know what is fabricated and what is true.

    • @High IQ levels,
When did Guy Scott and Kapeya say anything about the president’s health status and what exactly did they say? I challenge you to answer truthfully?

    • @ The London Eye
Remember during the BBC interview when guy Scott was asked about the health of the president and he said “he is okay.” When further pushed by BBC if the watchdog cancer rumours were true he answered “not to the best of my knowledge.I could have known if that was the case.” It doesnt get better than that.

    • To say ‘he is ok’ and ‘not to the best of my knowledge’ does not amount to giving a health status, it is simply a dodgy and unconvincing and an inconclusive way of avoiding to tell the truth which is already in public domain. In other words a health status cannot be based on lies and contradictory pronouncements.

  2. bo milupi, our president is no longer a property of zambians but a liability to the zambian people. if he was our property we would have been told every move the president makes wherever he goes. but now he can come as a “traveling incognito”. just like he left the country to Israel as incognito

    • The black-out on the No. 1 citizen has caused the Kwacha to continue nose diving. There is fear and speculation on the market thus driving investor confidence to its lowest ebb save for the days of super ken. Inflation is now in reality above 20% if not 50% if one takes the increase in prices of minibus fares, bread, mealie meal, meat (selling at k87/kg for some portions), fuel doubled since 2011, groceries in spar, shoprite, pick n pay are going up almost monthly!!! CSO and BOZ stop lying about single digit inflation.

    • MEDICAL BOARD of INQUIRY.

      NOW!

Where are our Cabinet Ministers? It is time for you to stand up for the people of Zambia. We cannot continue with this CIRCUS!

Or are you just as USELESS as Sata told us?

  3. I do not want to hear from PF Government about SATAs health. It is plain and obvious that THEY DO NOT KNOW THEMSELVES! Or if they do, they are just telling LIES about it.

What I DO want to hear is from the Cabinet WHEN THE MEDICAL BOARD of INQUIRY is going to happen, and then I will await THEIR findings.

  4. I THINK ADD statememnt is misplaced because it depends on which part of SATA’s body we are talking about otherwise the Presidents body belongs to Christine KASEBA she is the only one with access

  5. In May Mugabe failed to attend the burial of Brigadier-General John Zingoni at the national shrine as he was in Singapore where he was filmed entering a hospital said to specialize in treating cancer.

Rumors about Mugabe’s health have gone on for some time but as he is advancing in age speculation has increased over the years. The situation has been made worse by his frequent visits to Singapore where as his aides routinely claim he is being treated for an unspecified eye problem. Despite official denials it is widely believed that Mugabe is being treated for something else worse than an eye problem with some saying he is suffering from prostate cancer.

    • We are talking about Sata and not Mugabe. I don’t give a toss what Mugabe is up to but our president. Mugabe is a very old man who has lived 3 life expectancies of many of his countrymen and was not destined to live forever. Back on to our presidency front, it would be noble if Sata called for an early election should he not be able to continue leading Zambia. Please Mr Sata do the noble thing and your fortunes will change dramatically – do a Madiba and your name will remain forever in the Zambian history books as the man who retired the presidency in order to allow another able son/daughter of the soil to be at the helm of driving Zambia to the apex of development. Remember that poverty anywhere is a hindrance to prosperity everywhere. Do the right thing Mr Sata. I rest my case.

  6. The MAN in the picture is a PRESIDENT OF AN OPPOSITION PARTY!!! WELL LET HIM REMAIN IN OPPOSITION I CANT IMAGINE SUCH A FACE TO BE PRESIDENT OF ZAMBIA AND PORTRAITS ALL OVER
