The Zambia Centre for Interparty Dialogue (ZCID) says vice president Guy Scott has shown good leadership by apologizing to Tonga speaking people over his tribal remarks against them in a recent interview he gave to the BBC’s Focus on Africa programme.
ZCID Executive Director Horrance Chilando says the good leadership that Dr. Scott is also commendable.
Mr. Chilando he has also urged other leaders in the country to emulate Dr. Scott by always being accountable whenever they are in the wrong.
He says this is especially that by apologizing for doing something wrong no one loses anything.
The ZCID Executive Director has however cautioned leaders in the country to desist from making remarks that can divide the nation.

Never believe any Bob Astles. He didn’t even say what he said was wrong but that the words he used were wrong. All in all he still stands by what he says but not the language he used.

Red Pig Scott has never apologised. He is an *****. Let him call for press conference and address the specific issue of insulting the Tonga people and offer an apology.
