  1. This is a long overdue activity which should be continuous. Maybe it should be sublet to the private sector.

  2. We are not serious about markings on the road. Now that bwana Panji has seen it I would like him push it so that markings are done both on the middle and edges as this helps a driver see the road well. pot holes too must be sorted out quickly especially on international roads. Chingola is an eyesore especially to sorting out these and the congestion at underbridge and Mwaiseni round about. the police are busy mounting roadblocks instead of controlling traffic and add to the confusion.

  3. I beg to differ. that is the problem with us . we like over-simplifying our problems. accidents just happen everywhere. we can not stop them by road markings alone. pangeniko ama dual carriageways ayakwata three lains on both sides.

  4. Road markings, drink driving and lawlessness all cause accidents.

By the way, govt should name streets in compounds. Names to use abound.

Thank you for letting us know about Paul Mushindo. My ignorance has nothing to do with poor reading culture. I wonder how many bemba-only speakers read Tonga, Lozi, Luvale etc books. Now watch your tongue.

  5. Did you just wake-up today and realized that or is it because Sata’s son is a victim of the pathetic Zambian road? Zambian politicians are pathetic and lack common sense. Call me “diablo” all you want but I hope that foo1ish boy, (Sata’s son) perishes or becomes a vegetable, and just maybe Micheal Sata will wake up from his slumber and the fix the roads and save the Zambian populace from those death traps!

  6. Move on Solwezi Chingola Road, you will be surprised for what this PF is doing. You can not be pouring gravel in the potholes and you say we are working on the roads? Where is the borrowed money working? What is the funds for toll gates doing?

  7. When toads are paved it includes marking of the roads and signs. Who is to blame? The government who hires the contractors
