Zambia’s Fourth President Rupiah Banda today visited President Michael Chilufya Sata’s son, Kazimu, who is admitted to Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The former head of State was relieved to find that Kazimu was making steady progress. Mr Banda wished him, and the other two accident victims still in hospital, God’s blessings.

Mr Banda arrived at the hospital around mid-day and was received by Kazimu’s mother and his wife, Tiwonge, who were by the bedside.

The former president, who was accompanied to the hospital by his administrative assistant Mikatazo Wakumelo, also visited former Indeco director Brian Moyo.

On Saturday, President Sata visited his son Kazimu who is admitted at Milpark hospital.

Kazimu Sata was on Tuesday involved in a road traffic accident on the Kitwe-Ndola dual carriageway.

The accident happened around 17:30 hours near Kitwe’s Moba Hotel when the vehicle in which he was travelling overturned.

Kazimu was evacuated to Johannesburg, South Africa, for specialist treatment for injuries suffered in the road traffic accident

  1. This man has a good heart, LT, use the current photo of Sata since is now more of a skeleton or a moving coffin.

    • Birds of the same further. Both Sata and Banda have been bad leaders for Zambia. Both are thieves, both enjoy transporting their relatives and ministers to SA at taxpayers expense while our pour people die at UTH. While our Nurses are fired by Sata. Where is Zambia heading mwebantu njebeniko!!!

    • Folks

Where was Sata when Banda visited Kazimu? Sata is not mentioned in the article why? Has he gone back Zed already? Something is amiss here folks. I expected Sata to be by his son’s bed side to receive visitors like Banda.

Its either Sata never was in Zambia and later on in South Africa.

      SATA has gone awol!

    • Ba Wanzelu don`t show ignorance here as if you don`t live in a developed country. This is not UTH where relatives sit 24 hours by the bed side of their sick relatives.Thats a nurse`s job.Can you honestly think the whole president to be a Kazimu`s bed side for 24 hours ? You have an education and yet you prefer to be ignorant.Zambian ubufontini

    • Looking for leniency or going to finish the man off? Ba Sata be careful who you are permitting to visit your son ka!

    • Wanzelu still with Komboni nzulu. We don’t sit on the bed sides in high class clinics like this. That belongs to your matero clinic.

    • If you want pictures, go to Zambian Daily Mail online.

You will see RB at the hospital with Magarate Manda, the mother to Kazimu in SA. Mararate was friends with the Late Mrs Rupiah Banda.

Mind you, Sata has been friends with RB for many decades and Sata used to go and eat Shima at RB mother’s house in Chipata. Has anyone seen / heard Sata call RB a thief. These two behind the doors are stilll friends.

Nchto has been told to drop the cases, but as silly he is, he does not want to. RB is a statesman

    • @Mbewe

Milpark is private hospital which even provides accommodation for the patient ‘s relatives. What are you telling me?.Even if he is not supposed to be in Hospital accommodation given his status, he should have been by his child’s bed side before other visitors are allowed.

I can understand if you tell me that Kaseba does not like Kazimu, thats why they did not bother to be at the hospital with Banda. Besides there is no other business Sata went to South Africa for apart from being with his son. So your reasoning lacks merit my bro.

    • @Mbewe

The fact still remains, Sata is AWOL. He might not be in South Africa at the moment.

Its surprising that not even a single South African paper covered Sata ‘s arrival to see his son at the hospital. Did he also sneak into South Africa?

I will get the facts by phoning the hospital my self.

    • @ The Bricklayer, well said. I am wishing the president’s son quick recovery. However, we fire our nurses, people suffer and receive substandard healthcare while those who have the bigger share of the cake (in this context taxpayers’ money), the ones who are “more equal than others”, fly their relatives to SA for treatment. This has been going on for at least time immemorial and one wonders what has made it so difficult for our country to improve healthcare. We have been blessed with peace and have not had any civil war but the more time passes the more backwards we go.

    • @Wanzelu
You are just a komboni type.He doesn’t need that. But again i`m just wasting my time trying to reason with you because you have what you want to believe.Ubufontini bubi

    • Mbewe

Stop wasting you time on this Wanzelu ,he grew up mu Komboni ,fyonse kutalika.
About his education,he is on HH scholarship .skool yamubukulu.Go to any Hospital in UK. Nurses are there everyminute. They are waiting for Sata to die so they can be presidents,we know they killed their own Mazoka .Am warning you Lloyd Himaambo aka wanzelu ,stop the devilish acts.

    • This is nasense, this chap Ala Bee is a two bit criminal, who gave this thieving chap access into that hospital. The chap is a thief who should be arrested on sight. I am ready to testify against this vile vile chap.

    • @Robin

Just chill. I am my own man. I left Zambia way back in the early 90s soon after graduating from UNZA. All what I got I have worked so hard for it . I am not being sponsored by HH. I am doing fine in the Design Mechanical engineering field where I over see huge projects.

So HH is sponsoring people abroad and pays £17000 per year at an English uni, wow ,then he is good leader. How many has Sata sponsored out of his pocket? You see this why I encourage you youngsters to join him. For some of us we don’t need his support we already sorted.

    • I LOVE THIS RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SATA AND LUPIYA BANDA.THIS IS WHAT THE CARTEL NEVER WANTED.THIS SHOWS THAT OUR LEADERS ARE PEACEFUL LEADERS AND THIS IS BUILDING OUR IMAGE OUT SIDE ZAMBIA.VIVA ZAMBIA A CHRISTIAN NATION

    • RB just misses those trips he used make as then president. Tell me: has he visited any of the accident victims admitted to the local hospitals?

    • @Diaspora, Robin & Mbewe,

Fair enough you have told us that Wanzelu grew up ‘mu komboni but you haven’t said anything about where you yourselves grew up. Are you going to claim that you grew up in Putney (London) or in Manhattan (New York) or is it a question of a pot calling a kettle black?

  2. President of all Zambians. The picture above shows Sata of yesteryears. Sata of today is a skeleton. Ni mabonzo yekayeka. Anasila mudala

  3. Banda Marco polo Kanitundila Yaninyokola knows its not Sata who is prosecuting him but the law. He can differentiate

    • Well, maybe he wanted to see the Cobra – how sick the chap looks, with his own eyes, since we can’t get anything making sense out of Govt & it’s P.I.G!!!

  4. Sounds like things are looking up for Mr. Banda. The cartel let him leave zambia without any drama!

  5. Mr Banda is now a humble man, power must not given to some people because it makes them f00lish. I’m happy to see nyama soya humbling himself and now down to earth man. I hope those still in leadership can change their attitudes and learn to serve the people with honest and fairly.

  6. RB is a humble and dignified man, not that other one. Well done RB.
LT it would be useful to support your report with relevant pictures (not file pictures) especially Kazimu’s mother and wife.

  7. Thumbs up ba Rupia. Thts is the spirit needed in Zambia.
    One Zambia one Nation !!

    God loves all.

  8. Don’t over praise RB , u will upset Mutembo , Mmembee. They will be fresh corruption charges tomorrow.

  9. Shamelessly they converge in South Africa, a country they proclaim is backward. They have no confidence in their own medical facilities and yet they are/have been president. How stup!id are they?

    • @Wantashi

Thats very true my bro. The fact you have mentioned about our f00lish leaders going to South Africa for medical treatment while leaving our hospitals in a state of disrepair make my blood boil. Thats why I have no respect for any these two guys(Banda and Sata)

    • @Saulosi, naupwa…. you came #10 today? And only 4 votes kekekekekeke.
So Kazimu is not Kaseba’s son? Where was Kazimu’s mother when that bully Kaseba went there with his ex-husband Sata?

  10. silence from kambiba is deafening. the 1diot has been put in his right pigeon hole. he thought he would hijack the tribal pf and lead it, no wonder the panting and labeling others as living in f00l’s paradise. he has now realised that he is the one living in f00l’s paradise. kambiba come out and say something you 1diot. problem with kambiba is that he cant see beyond his nose, shame on him

  11. MOST ZAMBIANS ARE SIMPLE MINDS. WITHOUT THE INTERNET ONE WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT WE ARE GREAT MINDS. NOT AT ALL. WE INDULGE INTO PETTY ISSUES TOO MUCH. MAYBE IT’S ONLY THOSE ABROAD WHO ARE MOSTLY SIMPLE MINDS. BECAUSE, THE ZAMBIANS I KNOW AT HOME ARE MOSTLY GREAT MINDS. OR HAS JEALOUS, HATE AND BITTERNESS GONE TO THE BRAIN OF MOST ZAMBIANS?

  12. i find it extremely difficult to respond to a lumpen boy with a slow punctured brain like that of WANZELU. His mother wonders why she wasted energy of her panama canal vomiting a retard like him.

    • Your mother should restrict your use of internet tony brair. How do you insult like that as if you fell from heaven or your mother used some different opening to vomit you in matero clinic? Shame!

    • @Tony blair

Leka kutukwana iwe . The fact that you have attacked my innocent parents shows that you were not raised properly. You are exhibiting tale tell signs of person with mental problems.
If you were normal like Saulosi, MMD Bootlicker ,Gen to mention a few, you would not have mentioned my mother in this. But instead you would have refuted my comments and provided a counter argument to convince me otherwise.

In all my debates about Sata, I have never sworn at his parents, but all I mention is that he is liar or may be he is dead. Which might be true.

If you go on like this, you will hung yourself when you hear that Sata is dead and PF is out of power.

Chill my dear it just a commercial.

    • @ tony blair: do not think as if you failed to deficate. you mention some one’s parents is madness, learn to analyse issues and comments that your fellow *****s post. i have been reading these comments on daily basis, no one has mentioned parents. let us talk about politicians who are running to SA for medical attention leaving our hospitals without medicine, bad roads, inadequate funding to universities, higher mealie prices, higher fuel prices yet they spend millions on minor cough and flu

  13. Wanzelu do you really have parents? If you have as you are claiming and felt the pain of your parents brought into the general blog. Imagine how Mr Sata and his family feel about your perpetual character assassination, hate, names calling and so forth. We may strongly disagree and agree with each other regardless of our political. Social , religion ideologies but as Zambians and Christian especially you SDA the level of insults and hate against mr Sata is beyond what a young man with possibly good ambitions to serve Zambia can not exhibit on this blog. RB and Sata remains close friends and this is not questionable. Wanzelu it’s people like you who paint your HH and UPND negative. UPND must rebrand as a peoples party and stop jump from un attractive political self destruction .

    • Wrong, those two are not friends anymore. Its a known fact that Sata hates RB. Sata thought he could finish off RB but thank God his plans haven’t worked. RB has a big heart and is now showing the evil man (Sata) how to live like civilised people. The SDA church is bigger than your ‘tuntemba’ churches ran by conmen. The problem with 1diots like you is that you think Sata is a God. For God’s sake Sata is just a mortal man. If anything, the man is cursed. God will not allow him to enjoy his presidency untill he repents.

  14. If it is true as quoted in the Post that Sampa spent the whole day with Sata last Saturday in South Africa, flew back home with him & he was in a jovial mood, then we have some serious soul searching to do as Zambians! I mean, what manner of father would fly back in a jovial mood leaving his own son seriously knocking at death’s door? Something just does not add up here, all of Sata’s recent pictures are still & none show him speaking. I honestly, it’s obvious he had a stroke & has either lost the ability to speak or walks with a limp! For one who loved to hear the sound of their voice like Sata, the silence is deafening & very suspect. Only time will tell!

  15. sata is already dead, awaiting burial announcements.his skin no longer loves the bones.its like water and oil.life should be meaning less.

  16. Whee Nine Chale? He won an LT prize and has disapeared. RB is a statesman. Zambia has been cursed with poor leaders. Are we the 9th province of South Africa? We Zambians are docile? we allow our leaders and their families to go overseas for medication yet our hospitals don’t have medicine. Shame. we need a people driven revolution to flush our leaders with no heart for the people.

  17. I know two people who are not in any way connected to PF who were sent to India for treatment by the Zambian Government. What do you say about that?
Limo ukula bwatabwata fye teukwete te ne fishinka cilanga uku kana cenjela sana nge fyo ba Wanzelu bale shininkisha ukuba.

  18. @ kanyankula ,yah, naba ama tall lay just like u.what makes u think he will live on earth permanently.his time has just come.
