    • The man is sick and I cried when I heard him speak on Parliament radio, my advice to him is; Please resign on 24th September 2014. The people around you have no mercy.

    • Nice pics but I see a dead man walking in pics 33/34. No wonder the private media was banned from covering. He only allowed Mmembe because he knows he is the only one bold enough to challenge the move. I really feel sorry for this old man. Utuminwe kwati ka gecko! Let this man rest please. He really looks undernourished and in pain! He needs some sun and porridge yambalala! Truthfully speaking guys!

    • iwe bantu,,,, stop cheering! Sata needs prayers, all is not well,,, just look at pics# 32 and # 33.,,,,, this is what killed Mwanawasa, one is ill and people are cheering him on,,,, go to zambia reports and hear his voice,,,, sorrowfully sad!!,, am one of Sata`s critics,,,,but today ,,, i felt pity for him, the man is surronded vultures in PF,,, and the oppostion cant wait for him to fall down

    • Am now convinced more than ever that our president is not healthy. That is not the king cobra the people of Zambia voted. His stare is empty. Please allow him to take a rest.Your votes PF are secured. There is nothing to fear.

  1. What’s up with the red buttons?…and the suit? Shouldn’t the president in such times wear something that is Zambian (not Chinese)? Is it just me this guy in the picture looks scary and reminds me of patients in ward E at UTH

    • Yaa learn from Sata’s miss deeds and repentance.
Insulted ministers, Sosala & other chiefs, missed important funerals like Mandela’s and his own preacher Cardinal Manzombwe. What did God do to Sata= PUNISHMENT…
Sata came out HUMBLED yama totally humbled like a sheep!! Sata will never ever insult a fellow parent, and he will never walk with witches like Kabimba. I can’t even see Judge Ngoma in pictures in longer.
PF please learn from your boss.
      Lesa ni Malyotola!!

    • Saulosi for once be serious. This is not a laughing matter.Lets be honest our dear president is not well. There is nothing to celebrate. We are all sad after looking at these pictures up close.

    • Ummmm even crying dear. You can see that she’s kinda embarrassed in a way and the only defensive or should I put it, solace is in laugh-cry all the way. Ba Saulosi, Mushota etc ala mwalikosa. I had a controlled mourning myself after listening to the voice first and seeing the pictures made me bleed with tears. The walking dead is the only word that summaries what I heard and saw today. The man is a size 5 now, you can make up his skeletal structure penetrating the clothes. Cry mother Zambia. I have seen Sata, attended his gatherings greeted him several times together with Scott even before his presidency, but never in my wildest dreams did I think I will see such a political giant to fall back. But there’s time for him to resign graciously for the love humanity. We pray for him.

    • KASEBA IS A VERY HAPPY I EVER ENCOUNTERED AT CLOSE RANGE. SHE IS A GENUINELY HAPPY WOMAN WHO HAS A GENUINE PERMANENT SMILE AND LAUGHTER. IN FACT I PERSONALLY SEE HER AS A BLESSING TO ZAMBIA AS A NATION DUE TO HER HIGH STANDS OF PROFESSIONALISM, HAPPINESS WITH A HUMAN FEELING. IF YOU SAY SHE LAUGH AT EVERYTHING YOU CAN BE EXCUSED FOR NOT KNOWING HER. SHE’S UNIQUELY A TRUE AND LOVING PERSON. I AM LOST FOR WORDS TO DESCRIBE HER PERSONALITY. BUT, FOR THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND ON FEW WORDS- THEY WOULD KNOW WHAT I MEAN AND THOSE WHO HAVE MET KASEBA THEY WOULD CONFIRM WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. FROM THE FIRST TIME I MET HER I STARTED LOVING AND RESPECTING HER.

    • @Peter I agree mama Kaseba is a real blessing to Zambia, she is such a wonderful and caring person..God bless that dear and wonderful lady.

  2. OK finally pictures firstly as a straight woman I must say that the traditional dancer is a very pretty woman. Thumbs up Zed!!

Secondly when Sata commented about many ugly hats in the house he definitely included Dr Kasebas

Thirdly whats wrong with her teeth why does she keep showing them like that?

    • Interesting how a woman’s brain sees things diffrently from a man’s. I was seeing how neat parliament grounds are and contrasting with the filth that I see in our towns. Meanwhile Bootyfull is seeing beautiful fellow women, ugly hats & probably contrasting with Slyvia Masebos big colourful hats and the observing Kaseba’s teeth. Not that I want to pick a fight but just wondering/appreciating that men and women are different!

    • @Bootiful

All celebrities show their teeth. It takes a better picture. Check your magazines or celebs online!

That is why photographers always ask their subjects to say ‘Cheese’ before taking the pic. Go to your mirror and say Cheese, and see for your self that your image will be of a toothy smile.

She is a tutored, public figure. It’s fact and not debatable!! I find her smile excellent and she never fails to smile. Proper professional conduct!

    • We are generally allergic to cleanness as a nation.

We wait for foreigners to come and do the cleaning for us.

There can be so much that can improve our lives as a country if our towns, cities and our country were generally clean.

The onus is on us, besides its our coutry

  3. Nice picutures but I think the focus was to much on Sata. I guess there was too many people who attended its supposed to colourful.

  4. I think a lot of people thought that MS will not manage to open Parliament today have been put to shame. The man is not in the best health as he was few years ago but he still managed. I think of the stories from ZWD the last few days like MS speech will be 10 minutes, MS will use the back door to enter Parliament and many others are a disgrace. Only when the Lord calls MS to sleep will that happen. Please let the opposition re-organize themselves and avoid short cut to State House. Good pictures.

    • Just listen to yourself You are supposed to be debating the speech but now everyone is talking about Sata ‘ s health.State House is not a hospital there is supposed to be someone fit there not a patient. And don’t demonise ZWD 2 at least they prepared us for the Zombie that we saw today. Can you imagine if we all thought he was healthy and fit as Scott wanted us to believe? Pipo we’d have died of stroke today.

    • ZAMBIANS ARE SELF-EFFACING. THEY LOOK AT THEMSELVES AS INSIGNIFICANT PEOPLE. YES! IF YOU LOOK AT YOURSELF IN THAT MANNER, YOU WILL DEFINITELY BE AND THIS IS WHAT ZAMBIANS HAVE BECOME- INSIGNIFICANT.

  5. This is bad for our country to have our president being forced to perform such duties of the nation. Our president is not in good health please zambians let as give him a rest for now.To the first lady please love our husband ,give your husband the best advice to take a rest. This first lady was in a high sprit and what about her other rib,pls help as too.

    • Ukatambe (1) Joshua; (2) Three the Hard way, (3) Django Unloaded, or simply come to Zambia, Namibia, Zimbabwe or even SA, you will see blackmen on horses. Iwe chinshi ukwela?

    • ICIKALIPA CHUMFWO MWINE. WHEN HE WAS BAD HE DECIDED TO STAY AWAY AND REST. TODAY, HE HAS FELT ENERGETIC AND HAS DECIDED TO WORK FROM HIS OFFICE AND HE HAS DONE IT. SO, WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? ANY PERSON DOESN’T WAIT UNTIL HE/SHE IS ABSOLUTELY, FINE TO RESUME WORK. THEY START GOING TO WORK BEFORE THEY ARE COMPLETELY HEALED AND SATA SHOULDN’T BE SEEN TO BE EXCEPTIONAL. YOU ZAMBIAN PEOPLE HAVE A VERY BIG PROBLEM WITH YOURSELVES- YOU CAN’T PROMOTE YOURSELVES. BUT, YOU READILY PROMOTE FOREIGNERS. YOU ARE A BUNCH OF DISGRACE UNTO YOURSELVES.

    • Just find a picture from 2010/11 and compare it with the current pictures. There nothing wrong with being unwell. The president is unwell you do not spectacles to see that he is unwell. What any sensible Zambian should do is pray for him to get well and not celebrate ones sickness. PF/government should demand that he does every function.

  6. May our God bless our president mr sata and the family.[And this commandment we have from Him :that he who loves God must love his brother also.]1 john 4:21.

  7. He looks sick.
    He coned the Zambian people.
    Wont last long.
The first lady looks happy though but for Sata’s health is at risk.
    Love my Zambia.

  8. Looks like there was order and decorum. This is what benefits such occasions.

Thumbs up to organizers. This was well executed. Proud of the system that put this together.

    • @KEEN YOU ARE RIGHT. THAT’S WHAT I THOUGHT FIRST TIME I WENT THROUGH ONLY FEW PICTURES. I HOPE ZAMBIANS COULD LEARN HIGH STANDARDS OF ORGANISATION LIKE THE ONE APPLIED IN ORGANISING THIS OCCASION. CONGRATULATIONS GO TO ORGANISERS AND KEEP IT UP.

  9. You mean it was glamourous? Naya ZAF yakupisha indeke mwiyulu? I am sure zyali zyafuma uku Mbala Airforce Base (Samora Machel Airforce Base). Awe chumi chali chazipa sana.
Alino nalolakuti kansi yaya ama social networks yaka somba sile? We were told way back that Sata had passed on. Please dear colleagues we all have our time, just like its dog has its own day. When God decides, he will take him just like he will take the rest of us. Just because he wired you in an election, doesn’t mean you have to spend sleepless nights hating someone. Your day will also come.

  10. You i.d.iots talking sh.it about HEMCS shut your beaks and wait for 2016 for you to lose again. The president is very fine and I can’t wait to usher him into state house for the second time. Ba chimbwi imwe shani jealous. You will make it only if cows are allowed to vote for you.

  11. He is a great achiever so now he has acquired a theology in pastorial as some pic shows. Now we have pastor Sata and Pastor Mumba in politics long live Sata you out shine Pastor Mumba

  12. wanzelu where the hell are you??? For those of you who are still saying nonsense have you never been ill before have you never ever had parents, uncles, brothers, sisters, aunts that have recovered fully after being terribly ill?? The big man is recovering and will make a full recovery to regain his full health.

    • You want Wanzelu to comment on the dead man walking. Well done ba Sata you managed to walk and talk through hard labour and your cadres are happy….woow sir you have perfomed one duty although you struggled. i thought that as a president you ought to be fit as a fiddle and your health shouldn’t be the subject of debate among your people but it seems when you say 300 words Zambians go and celebrate. To them it is the greatest achievement!!!!!!!!!!

    • @clueless you miss the point, the reason why we are all happy is as follows:

1)because evil people like yourself as clueless as your name implies you are, you were running amok telling terrible lies that HEMCS has passed away, yes that is what you chaps were doing…you were wrong we were right

      2) many of us challenged your statements and you replied with insults going as far as even wishing death on HEMCS. Some of you said he would never open parliament…you were wrong we were right

3)some of you said PF would lose all the elections, some of us said we would win most of the seats of the recently past bye elections..again you were wrong we were right

    • @clueless and so here are real ACCURATE forecasts for you and your fellow UPND cadres
      1) HEMCS is going to fully recover from his recent illness in good time to become even more invigorated and committed to Zambia
      2) UPND is going to experience a mass defection of its members towards the PF as some of your top leaders will lead the way in leaving what they know is a tribal gathering of bitterness and hatred in UPND
3)in 2016 UPND will lose lamentably in the national elections and may not even claim a single seat outside southern prov.PF to win almost half or more of the parliamentary seats in Southern Prov.
      4) after 2016 UPND will fire HH who would’ve become broke haven spent millions of Kwachas on fruitless pursuits as a result of poor advice. UPND will then choose a non Tonga…

    • @2020 vision;if upnd loses it won’t pain me at all my dear. All my friends are mbwanas in pf. The fact remains whether the president is hibernating or forcing himself to open parley he is a dead man walking. You can’t change nothing and I can’t change anything. Btw, I don’t even vote in Zambia so please don’t crucify an innocent party on my behalf. Good luck to pf, mmd, upnd, abz and the rest. Mr. Sata rest!!!!!!

  13. Great to see president Sata.

People on LT, you do realize that president Sata is 77 years old right. So please let us be respectful. Only criticize when necessary.

  14. Its actually PF members who are killing Sata. If Sata surrounded himself with sensible people by now man would be recuperating and resting somewhere.

  15. Please my fellow Zambians pray for our president, even if he may be your enemy, but continue praying for him so that that he may continue leading us well and in peace,as most of you were not even expecting the peace you are enjoying from him.so i beg you to continue thanking God for this man.If we fail to love our enemies that means we have failed to qualify.Sorry to some of you,our president has done great things which most of you can’t do if it were you.I am sure God saw the right person to give us.Promotion does not come from the east, west, south or north but from GOD.Just wait, your time will.Remember how he tried for his time. When your time come no one can stop it.When God says yes no one can say no!God bless you.

    • You sincerely believe he himself and his wife don’t pray? Why would God listen to you if he does not listen to the family?

      Nonsense!

    • You are right and are a good man before God. However, Sata is not our enemy, he is The a President Of a The Democratic Republic Of Zambia. As such we have a duty to be obedient unto the laws of this country. Democratic procedure will allow challenges at the appropriate time in 2016. In the meantime let us not create a terrible environment for each other.

  16. These pictures show the energy of Zambia! Wonderful! My fav. Is of those oldie ladies shaking their booty! I am sure they sometimes ‘cut one’ (break a fart)!!!!!

HAIL THE KING HAS SPOKEN TO HIS somewhat cantankerous subjects!

  17. Whoever looks after the parliament grounds and plants should be commended. I hope they can make our football stadium surroundings as larsh green as the parliament grounds.

  18. The pictures clearly show that Sata is now a finished old man who should step down immediately before he plunges this country into chaos!

  19. Long live His excellence the President of the republic of our great nation Zambia. Mr Michael Sata Chilufya shall not die but shall live to do that which the Lord called him for. He is a.
son of Abraham therefore, he shall finish his term with the help of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  20. The truth pains. Mwalemona kwati Sata takesule Parliament but you have been proved wrong. Most of you talking about his healthy mwalinaka and you feel conforted when you hear about another person, s illness. Just care about your doping and don, t waste time talking about long leave HEMCS.

  21. Christine Kaseba is the happiest woman on planet earth, she is all over smilling wide knowing the will is in her hands………i think she cares less about how sata looks grey now and just want him to go as quick as he came

  22. Now we have seen what we wanted to see and since we have eyes to see a sick and dying man. High time we now pushed for the president to take a leave and fully recover for the sake of not having a presidential by election. Those pictures are speaking volumes about the state of health of Sata.

  23. I DONT SEEM TO UNDERSTAND THE ARGUMENT HERE. LETS SET THE FACTS STRAIGHT.
1.SATA HAS BEEN UNWELL OF LATE, THE PICTURES AND HIS VOICE TESTIFY TO THIS.
2.SATA HAS SHOWN A LOT OF IMPROVEMENTS .AGAIN THE PICTURES TESTIFY TO THAT.
3.SATA IS ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY.
4.MOST OF US ARE WISHING HIM A QUICK RECOVERY SO THAT HE CONTINUES HIS GOOD WORKS.
5.THE PF SHOULD HELP SATA IDENTIFY A LEADER WITHIN OR OUTSIDE PF WHO SHOULD TAKE OVER FROM SATA TO ALLOW SATA REST AS HE RECOVERS.
6.SATAs VOICE SOUNDED LIKE SOMEONE WHO HAS A TRACHEOSTOMY TUBE IN THE TRACHEA WHICH THE SERGEONS INSERT IF THERE IS A “GROWTH” IN THE THROAT WHICH IS BLOCKING BREATHING…JUST THINKING.

  24. Am glad our president is on the mend. It is better we wish him well and to continue his term in government. Or do we wish to lose another president? As for me I wish him well as I don’t want to lose him like we did ba Levy, those who want him dead check your hearts and mind. Wish your enemies good health and shame the devil. Stand for what is right and not wishing ill health because of difference in political aims and convictions…
