Associated Press has reported that Police in New York have said that President Michael Sata was treated in his New York hotel room by doctors but has not been hospitalized.

President Michael Sata had flown to New York from Lusaka to attend the annual gathering of world leaders at the U.N. General Assembly. He did not deliver a scheduled address to the 193-member world body on Wednesday.

President Michael Sata was scheduled to speak before the United Nations General Assembly but failed to appear for his slotted speech.

At approximately 20:50 hours local New York time on Wednesday night, shortly following the speech by President of Venezuela Nicholas Maduro, the UN moderators had an awkward period of silence as they appeared to be receiving the information, and then proceeded to simply announce the next speaker at the general debate, United Kingdom Prime Minister David Cameron.

Sata was treated on Thursday. He is about 77. He became Zambia’s fifth president in 2011 after three failed attempts. He is known as a staunch advocate for the poor and an opponent of Chinese investment in Zambia’s mines.

Sata went to Israel for medical treatment in June.

    • Ba LT do you have investigative journalists? How can you just write the story exactly the way Newsweek reported it? Be resourceful please!

    • Like all of you I find it very upsetting and suspicious on why people would lie about such a thing

Who gets doctors in a hotel room gets treated and is reported to the media

It is a lot of nonsense I don’t believe any of it.

      Concorted story.

The president is fine. We should sue these journalists.
The opposition parties have gone too far fabricating silly stories like this

      Thanks

    • fimbi ifintu fyabatuntulu, kwashi mwaile maimwe bamudala. it was good to hibernate in statehouse than be treated in a foreign hotel room naimwe. careful kuti mwabwela horizontally but nishi mwaile vertically

    • I feel sad about what is happening to our president. I pray he will make it home in one piece. The only thing that had me really angry is how our nation was treated as a load of imbeciles even when we saw with our own eyes how emaciated and fatigued Sata looked when opening parliament, the Vice President stood on a mole hill and declared him very fit and healthy!
Someone should have stopped Sata from getting on that plane to the USA considering he wasn’t well enough not to mention the cost of the trip for a sick man!

    • Abena Charlie Kays batobeka ka..I wish ba Doctor Kaseba would have said ati please no travel while sick but obviously that was the last trip and chance for all 40 people to go and hide money in USA banks. Good bye Charlie Kay..Ichalo lipupa fye….

    • Every well meaning Zambians should condemn this Mushota thing, enough is enough. She constantly mocks the president with her sarcastic comments. We all know that our president is not enjoying the best of health but week in and week out this bittch mocks him with her stupid comments. Guys lets pray for Sata, whether you like him or not he is still the Zambian president. I have my reservations about how he has lead our nations the last 3 years but I will pray for him even though his minions say he is as “fit as a fiddle” because i have eyes and ears and they tell me this is not the same king cobra who charmed his way to state house. God bless Zambia

    • Hope he comes home safely, otherwise, it Will be a famous curse for Zambia flying dead presidents from ocean to ocean! And the other old Guy insists on a presidential come back?! What’s wrong with Zambians kanshi? But some things can be very upsetting ififine announcing akwardly ati change of schedule? Knowing very much how sick you are just to prove someone wrong! Zambians please have pride…. What’s wrong kanshi?

    • When you have people who have lost hope of ascending to power through normal means , they are tempted to think that the only way to get to power is if their opponent dies.

    • Is hard to fathom that the first Lady who is a medical doctor was happy to see her sick husband make a transatlantic flight, and happy to have him appear at the United Nations to give a speech in his weakened state.Perhaps those certificates on A4 paper which she was awarded were more important to her. OR maybe we shouldn’t be hard on her perhaps speaking at the UN was on Sata’s bucket list…who knows! I hope Zambians will wake up and see that we need a new constitution.Sata should have been made to resign a long time ago but the parasites he has around him prevailed.

    • Nonsense ! What a sensationalist story ! A story without any quotes of any some sort ? Only deluded people can believe this trash.

    • It is true, he never showed up. I have the speech schedules.
We told you that it was unwise for him to go to such a function in the state we saw him in Parliament last week.

    • Where is Zambia’s President?

A mystery no-show at the United Nations raises speculations about the state of health of Zambia’s President, Michael Sata, who last week emphatically told the Lusaka parliament, “I am not dead.”

A well-placed source at the U.N. told Newsweek that Sata died in his hotel room on Thursday. The Associated Press reports that the 77-year old president was treated at his hotel by State Department doctors and then rushed to a Hospital ..

    • So it’s true, bali shikamo fimo mu State House. That’s why people who where the favorite to be in the states also died, Simon Kapwepwe, R Chisupa, K Musokotwane and my idio Paul Tembo.

    • @Saulosi,
You know it as well as many of us that for a long time all you have cleverly done is to mock an elderly frail man in his condition. You have referred to concerned citizens as deluded haters. The good news is sooner rather than later you will come to your senses and realise that you were misguided and wrong.

    • Just from talking with my reliable sources in sensitive departments. The president has never been treated in that room. This garbage was created by the associated press journalists because that paper thrives on rumours. They have a reputation for stories like this. Right now the same associated press are from troubling a friend of mine for info and when he told them the truth they hanged up the phone in frustration.

    • this president is just a sick clown and a bastard. he can rot in hell. evans mfula at evaduco reporting live from lusaka and hiding from kitwe boys

    • @SAULOSI, explain to us why he did not make the scheduled speech on Thursday? He was scheduled to address the U.N but he failed to make it. You might want to get back to your, “reliable sources”. Mate you and your Mushota need to stop mocking our president and the Zambian people. You two are really becoming irritating. This man really needs to slow down, he shouldn’t have traveled if he was unable to give the speech after way he struggled in Parliament. Kaseba has received her kama award, let them go back home.

    • He traveled for the 69th General Assembly with a huge delegation to delegate his speech to the foreign affairs Minister? Come on now, lets get serious.

    • @ 1.17 Saulosi

Just to broaden your limited horizon.
You are wrong, Associated Press is one of the world biggest and most respected news agency and NOT newspaper.

    • What a shame, when we as a nation would want to hear it from ZNBC, all we get is a deafening silence. They have all gone mute. All those still pictures from State House PR machine trying to mis-manage information has now come home to roost. We have a cluster of clowns issuing lies starting from the VP, Foreign Minister, Lands Minister etc all saying Sata was fit and working. In all this nonsense the benefactor is kaminamisa Defence Minister.

    • Ba Sata did not go to NY for the UN assembly, he went for treatment at a top hospital, Sloan Kettering to be exact, occupied by top notch oncologists which is a good move!

Why are you all complaining? He will come back stronger to lead Zambia for another 6 years.

    • The earlier Sata resigned, the better. We are tired of this nonsense now. Only in Zambia can this happen. Ukutemwa power sure nelyo muli balwele.

    • Denial, denial , denial…, Zambia what’s wrong with your people? I cannot believe that sane folks are here disputing that the Zambian president is having a rough patch with his health…, wherever you come from, this man needs to step aside for himself and family. However, I get it that most of those that need him where he is now, the Zambian president cannot do without him, it’s bread and batter, life or death. Now that we read this from foreign media as opposed to Watchdog or LT, folks come to terms, he might expire soon. I just hope he is smart enough to take time to attend to himself and family.

  1. This is a very serious national matter and only the naive PF cadres can trivialise it.
For sure there must have been something wrong for the President to fail to deliver his scheduled UN speech.
He should have just deligated it to the foreign affairs minister if he could not trust Guy Scott; instead of creating the impression that he was on national duty yet he is just recieving medical treatment.

  2. There’s nothing serious, Charlie just overslept in the jacuzzi, AP was misinformed that our hard working presido had drowned. Some of you are aware of incidences at UNZA, where one missed an exam after pounding so hard for it. Agony is to fly 18 hours to go and deliver a speech to prove that you’re not sick only to end up in a sickbay.

  3. The Truth scares Zambians. They would rather turn to prayers or fierce denial when faced with the hard truth. Prayer is fine but sometimes be realistic. Your President is old and very sick and you saw that last Friday in Parliament. But you still want to believe he is “fit and working hard”. No wonder Politicians feed you bullcrap all the time.

    • @Vilifier; why should they ban them from reporting the truth? USA media doesn’t play favorites. In any case if someone from the hotel called 911, the recording is for public consumption and can be obtained by any American citizen because it is their tax payers money that runs the emergency system! Welcome to the developed world!

    • @ #9, because America is the land of the free, where freedom and justice and the law prevails – I understand how you would not know this.
Also, a missing world leader at a summit IS news. Would you rather they just said nothing, after a scheduled world leader just ‘vanished’?

    • More sarcasm please, although this is not the right time. Banning of Newsweek, Washington post and the associated press could not be banned from reporting the issue because the Accreditation process by the Zambian missions was slightly delayed due to a number of factors vis-à-vis raiding of Bwinjimfumu, Kabimba’s communication with the clerk of the Assembly, ABC wine session with two guest among other pressing issues. (ALSO AMERICA IS WELL KNOWN FOR DOUBLE STANDARDS, MAYBE THIS ALSO RUBBED OFF!!).

  4. The cat is already out of the bag right in the open in New York, Sata has been hospitalized and he is in ICU as we speak. You can deny as much as you want but from all indications, Sata is a gonna, his rendezvous point with god is now right upon the lumpen. He is coming back home as cargo and whether the PF likes it or not, we are going for presidential bye elections in 3 months. Finito, let all stupidity end here, now!

    • The comedy has gone on for too long. Some Judge Chali prevented Brebner from constituting a Medical board. Had that gone ahead, we would have been spared all this exposition on the world stage. All the denials by the Zambian hierachy has now been exposed on the alter of truth. Deny it now that your man was not sick. I guess you will spin this and say it was a stroke, sudden illness. Well, God is the ultimate leveller. PF did not want to play by the rules, its taken a higher power to purge the country of the injustices perpetrated onto the people. Its sad, but could have been avoided.

  5. I dont know WHAT TYPE OF BRAIN ths so called Mushota has, is it chicken brain or human Brain.
Sata died in June the one we are seeing is a ‘scrap’. A dead Man walking !!
My Jesus has humiliated Sata !!! Because he is TRIBAL & USELESS!!!

    • its you who has brain chicken.you want mushota to believe that. Sata is dead and yet she saw him on tv.
      @Anderson chisala.

    • Atase @AC!
What nonsense is that? Which jesus takes pride in his creature’s suffering? Go back to your Bibble you uncircumcised jihadist! Your vengeful heart equals to that of an ISIS jihadist the only diference is that your killing is in THE mind and no 73 virgins for you! Indiote!!!

    • @anderson chisala and when we call you and your fellow UPND supporters satanists you get angry. Just accept you are a follower of the devil anderson, as for me I can never tolerate a person that wishes death on another..you are evil. Shame but the law will surely catch up with you.

  6. I am angry as a Zambian just as I was angry when he addressed parliament. it is inhuman to expose a person in that state. But all this is in the name of proving that the president is fit as a fiddle. After the parliament address PF tells us that we are not doctors to tell the health of Sata. And where is Kaseba in all this? This will continue as long as PF remains in denial

  7. Mushota in US when you call for help (911) media, police, ambulance all show up, your Sata is sick, you can’t hide sickness forever and when you get treated as a high profile person the whole world will know you had medical treatment, we can’t keep running away from reality and facts, The man is sick and he needs to rest, that selfish woman is trying to kill the President, a sensible doctor will warn you about the risks than lead you to slaughter

  8. I give up! Zambia has the most gullible and dumb people.. The man is sick..when is your dumb thick heads going to get it.. When he drops down dead? Sata can not function any more. wtf is wrong with you all.

  9. Wish him a quick recovery, although this is a terminal illness at a late stage.Lt,their is no such saying as local new York time.you should have written,20:50,eastern time.

  10. Only the ones that truely care for our dear President His Excellency Michael Chilufya Sata are genuine in wishing him a full recovery, the rest continue with their insults. Ba President we are with you, we love you and care for you and wish you a full recovery whether these reports are true or not.

    • @2020vision,
That is the main problem with people like you, when the truth is told you call it insults. What insults are talking about? Is it an insult to state the fact that the president is terminally ill and should not be handled so badly by those close to him?
Too bad, I can see that the truth is hurting you.

  11. Before Sata left for for New York I said it was an ideal opportunity for his handlers led by his wife to check him into an ICU medical centre.
Why is Dr Kaseba treating her husband with such cruelty? Her ridiculous smile getting bigger about about all this and now it is being displayed abroad.
    Let’s see what happens next.

  12. I wonder how the US stands to gain from reporting that HEMCS was treated in his hotel room. Could it be that it is true that Sata is not fit?
I wonder, and even though we all saw him last week in parliament, we still insist that he is fit.
Volunteers helping out with Ebola in west Africa report symptoms, accept they have Ebola, are treated and live to fight another day.
Africans on the other hand refuse to acknowledge Ebola’s existence and die.

Denial. Pride. Ignorance. I don’t know what our problem is.

    • What has us to do with sata ‘s illness, here the media attention right now is at the UN,so if sata didn’t show up to read his speech ,the investigative journalists will make a follow up and the us government has no any role in this, that’s true freedom of press.

    • My point exactly. I’m trying to establish the motive behind this story. The writer has no malice against Zed or PF – simply reporting the truth.
The US is run by laws and also respects the media so they could care less about Zed.
But an absent head of state who calls for medical assistance from his hotel room is big news.
This is to provide credibility to the news and serves as information to all those claiming that HEMCS is fit and claim that anyone who says otherwise is aligned with the opposition.
Some of us just love Zambia and could care less for PF, UPND or MMD.

  13. Sata must simply accept that he is unwell and ask to be excused period. People get sick and nobody is immune to sickness. It is not an embarrassment to get sick and besides with old age sickness do not easily go away regardless of the numerous treatments. Sata, Dr Kaseba and his inner circles they knew the state of his health prior to the trip to the US and we have evidence of him struggling to deliver the speech to parliament. We do not our president to die in power especially abroad, his advisers must man up let him to rest and possibly leave the presidency.

  14. The President is fine. If he refuses to read a speech at the UN summit does not mean he is unwell. He was meeting some potential investors from his hotel room. Remember I stated that Sata’s main visit to New York is to meet some serious investors to keep the economy on track. This story is a lie. How did the journalist find out that there were doctors in the president’s room treating him when the room is supposed to be a private space? I dont like such kind of stories which have potential to cause fear and alarm. These journalists who reported such lies need to be sought and charged with defamation of a protected person. If they have run out of news they should go to Iraq and Syria where news is plentiful to fill their slots. I am making a serious complaint to the UN regarding this news.

    • Going with delegation of 38 to do what?
Cost of tickets alone +/- 12,000,000 + accommodation + per diam + local transport for what?
      Another working holiday?

  15. The President is fine. If he refuses to read a speech at the UN summit does not mean he is unwell. He was meeting some potential investors from his hotel room. 16. When told Sata is sick, PF muppets resort to insults. They think Sata is “immortal”. There’s nothing shocking about this news. When ( not if) Sata dies, let no one talk of an”untimely and unexpected demise”. Death will meet each one of us, it just a matter of time.

  17. I DONT KNOW WHY YOU PEOPLE ARE SURPRISED. SATA WENT FOR TREATMENT ON THE SIDES OF THE UN MEETING. AND NOW HE IS GETTING THAT TREATMENT. AS HE CONTINUES TO RECOVER.

    • It is not us the people which are surprised that after his Parliament performance he is in desperate need of top-notch medical treatment.
It is your childish senile twits which are insisting that he is “fit as the fiddle” that are insulting human intelligence in misplaced hope that miracle is just around corner.
Accept the reality of our existence. Birth, life, death.

  18. Chikwanda was opposed to this stup!d trip from the very beginning! Kaseba will need to be held accountable and maybe that will wipe that maniacal grin from her face! Never thought I would feel this bad but I do.

  19. why do you like condeming one another , the president is jst sick and dr.Kaseba cant celebrate his husband ‘s death she has tried o her best and let the American doctors also try to help our president ‘s health to stabilise. we jst hope God will pull him thru cos we love him and need him for he is the president for the poor pipo

  20. MUSHOTA hold your fire we all love our President but the way PF you are handling the issue of his illness is disgusting, first you were saying he is fit and working but at official opening of parliament every sane Zambian saw it clear that the President is sick because everyone starting from small kids knows SATA’S VOICE how it sounds, but that voice on that day is not of SATA. Am blaming KASEBA to allow the President to travel to NEW YORK when she knows he is not OK, that is not fair.

  21. I know Sata could be saying ‘icikalipa chunfwa umwine’ ..but we can see that the man is not ok.

Sata advisers including bana Kaseba must take responsibility for this national embarrassment. Sata should not be allowed to travel outside State House until his health significantly improves.

    • Before Sata left, ABC had a heated debate with other ministers including Sata’s doctors that he must not travel to the US. But they never listened because they had a plan to visit some cancer specialists there. The UNGA just came at the time they were planning the move so that they have a good excuse and hide the initial truth and plan from the people. But it is now impossible to run and hide these things!

  22. We WARNED you ZOMBIES that this deadwood was in no position to travel OR WORK after what we witnessed on 19/09/2014. Sata is good as DEAD for some of us this is not news. He is not fit for purpose he couldn’t even avail himself to read a simple speeech at the UN.
    MHSRIP!

    • @london eye are you blind? Is this not another insulting remark from this cretin jay jay, these are the insults I have been refering to. Jay jay you are nothing but evil and God will judge you for saying such terrible things. Don’t be fooled people a lot of these UPND satanists have long wished the worst to happen but don’t forget Sata is PF and PF is Sata, we are a rock that cannot be broken by the evil works and wishes of the likes of jay jay. God bless Zambia.

    • @london eye, if what your friend jay jay is saying above is not an insulting comment then what is??? Are you blind Londoneye, you choose to blot out the insults that are coming in from your co-conspirators and seditionists and only comment on what you feel are unjustified attacks on the likes of jay jay. Lets not pretend people alot of these UPND chaps have been wishing the worst on HEMCS from months ago, the records are there and even today even now they continue with their insults. Again we can agree to disagree, there are some with opposing views that appear genuine in wishing HEMCS the best and to them thanks but others are plainly an evil assortment of the worst offspring any parent could ever have such as the one calling himself/ herself jay jay. Shame.

  23. It was surprising to hear that Mr. Sata was attending the UN G. Assembly. USA is very far from Zambi to fly a frail person. When i was in USA & each time I thought of flying back home to Z, it was not easy thinking about the stress of flying over 19 hrs. From Zambia to Amsterdam non stop is almost 10 hrs & from Amsterdam to Atlanta non stop is 8hrs. Elyo mwabikapo no bulwele. I don’t see him coming home soon edpecially with jet lag. Not PF but still Lets pray for this man.
“1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior…” -1 Timothy 2:1-3

  24. Kaseba is cruel,as a medical she should understand this situation better.King Cobra just rest wachula sana.Tawapole, too late.Ubulwele bwapitilia

  25. That’s why you quickly chased Winter because you knew Sata is ””’soon.Winter is enjoying the drama and has made peace with his wife and relatives.Kolwestans in the quest to cling to power want to replace him with a fellow kolwestan that wont work as Edgar Lungu will take it and hand it over to right leader chosen by God Jehova.Fya kwiba fitulila Kumalushi. When God choses a leader don’t vote other wise when all can see who is qualified to be president,Imwe mwakana ati U mutonga iyo.

    • @sido Mark, there is nonthing about Tongas and your so called “kolwestans” whatever you mean by that. One thing you should understand is that people voted PF and Sata and if God had another Leader then he could have been voted. Even if Sata dies(God forbid) they can vote for whoever they like. Sata was much more popular than other candidates and that is how he won. If the person you wish to win is not so popular, he could still loose in the event that there is a Presidential bye-election. Remember in 2008 Ruphia Banda who was viewed as an outsider in MMD benefited from the compassionate vote after Levi’s death. What can prevent people from repeating the 2008 scenario and keep a PF President out of their sympathy and feeling to allow PF a full 5 year term?

  26. And the stories continue every time he travels out the country. One thing that has consistently happened is this- HE ALWAYS COMES BACK! Mark my words!

  27. SHHHHIT,SHHHHIT,SHHHHIT!!!!!I feel for my cobra ZO’oona!!SHHHHHIT.Lord restore my cobras health please pantu my heart cries for him SHHHHHIT…………….

  28. Everyone is entitled to fall sick and recover or if push comes to shove pass on. I am one of those who has consistently said let us allow our president to fall sick and hopefully to recover.

It is almost four months now since he has not be feeling well. My position now is that he kicks in the succession plan. Dissolves parliament, resigns, appoints an acting president for 90 days and we go for a presidential bye election. Doing so will ensure that his greatness, his legacy will go on.

Mr. Sata is a revolutionary leader. It is unfortunate he has led Zambia for such a short time – otherwise Zambia would not have been the same. It would have developed. He is such a practical and efficient development focused president.

Mr. President you have shown the way. Now, kindly step down…

  29. Some Premiership Managers are good at saving teams from relegation to the Championship. The Uruguayan Gus Poyet did it for Sunderland, Paul Jewell kept Bradford up in the year 2000 and went on to keep Wigan Athletic afloat in 2007 after his reign of six years. SATA has been a champion for Zambia but we are in a ‘mending of a bone with a sticky tape’ situation, a costly venture. Is this the time to call on our very own RB (seasoned) to come and finish the Presidential term the way he did for LPM or has Zambia got to change course. Am in!!!

    • @Dr.Eustace Wabo,PF had fights and those are dying now after Wynter departed. So PF can sort out the succession properly. It has been clear that Sata will not go for a second term and he remains with a year and some months in power so within this time they can sort out the succession issue. Sata can then stay out of streneous activities and only manage the transition to the next elections. We read what Chikwanda said by the whole situation if they take heed they can start preparing for transition. Yes,Sata needs to be replaced in an orderly way but NOT by Ruphia Banda, but some else who could do what Ruphia Banda did for LPM!! Let us now start looking at younger, educated and wise leader that can be accepted across the country so that we start a new generation of Leadership.

    • Your writing just summarises what I was thinking in my little mind. Are you a mind reader by any chance? Am really pleased with your posting. ‘Zambia is ours indeed’!!

  30. Sadly its too late for even Image Builders.

Its even more sad that he never heeded calls to handover and rest. The monies spent on all sorts of Doctors to help him recover been just a waste and drain on public coffers. Lessons should be learnt that there is only so much you can do for an elderly person, that is why they came up with retirement age.

When citizens express concern they are labelled bitter. The consequences of such tragedy happening in USA is that all will now be exposed. It was a serious mistake to have traveled.

  31. We’ve not grasp the culture of standing down on moral grounds.
Alex salmond is standing down on principle because his scotland independence campaign failed.
Lets encourage this trend across the Zambia in all spheres even in churches.

  32. Get well soon MCS. May God’s healing hand be extended to you, and all the sick…and may all the care-givers recieve strength from above.

  33. Only fools would wish their head of state ill.
Kudos to those wishing our beloved head of state good wishes.
For the fools the least they can do is to keep quite

  34. What amen iwe chota? According to Newsweek, the presido left for NY earlier ,with five doctors. He wanted to visit Sloane cancer center. The report further states that he died…………. hope it is not true anyway.

  35. These gullible PF pundits! It seems they are as insensitive as they are insane. While the president has been fickle and frail, they still insist he is fit as a fiddle! It would seem that their insanity is as incurable as is the president’s strange illness.

    • For Zambia, it is the insanity in PF that should engender the greater concern, not the president’s illness. Of what consequence would it have been for a sick president to travel overseas in search for treatment? None whatsoever. But PF want this kept a top secret! I don’t get it.

  36. Its sad… life is more precious than power… its better to be poor but in perfect health than having presidential credentials at the expense of one’s health..

    I thank you

  37. I appeal to my fellow country men and women to pray for the President and the nation. Sata may have his short comings but needs our prayers. It is not good to wish him dead. If there is any moment in the history of our nation where earnest prayer is needed is now. We should not take things lightly. We should not allow the devil to take advantage of our country. Politicians could have made so many mistakes but it important for all citizens to pray for the nation.

  38. PF will know what happened to UPND after the death of Mazoka.Already they are fighting. The post for one month wrote headlines saying HH is tribal and UPND is a Bantustan party. They have labeled PF as a bemba party with the firing of Kabimba they will continue untill PF is on its knees.Who does not know how has Sata has benefited his tribes men.We are not fools we are watching.Even with doctorates as long as you are another tribe you are nothing you stink.we shall fight this kind of thinking to bitter end.We want Zambians to start respecting each other as equals.

  39. Lets wait & see! If it reaches death, the wife & ministers need 2 take responsibility & possibly face prosecution but again the presido himself hz a part 2play. he simply doesnt wnt 2resign nomatter what!

  40. I feel sad that he cant share his illness with the country so that we can support him. It is afterall cancer. If it was HIV kuti wayeba ati maybe he is ashamed or something (not that HIV is shameful…just its connotation).
