Acting President Guy Scott says he has not received a copy of an injunction to restrain him from holding a parallel Patriotic Front (PF) general congress which is currently underway at Mulungushi Rock of Authority in Kabwe.
A surprised Dr. Scott said he has not seen or heard about the court order intended to stop him from proceeding with the general conference.
The Acting President was responding to a question from journalists who wanted to know whether he was aware of an injunction issued by the Lusaka High Court stopping him from proceeding with the parallel general conference.
The ex-parte order has been drawn by Mweemba Chashi and Associate on behalf of PF national chairperson Inonge Wina to PF secretary general Bridget Atanga.
Dr. Scott also laughed off reports that he, together with PF secretary general Bridget Atanga and her deputy Anthony Kasolo have been fired from the party by newly elected party president Edgar Lungu.
He said no one can fire him from the party that he formed with late President Michael Sata saying the action was a far-fetched dream.
Mr. Lungu was elected PF president yesterday by another PF general conference but Dr. Scott nullified his election.

Guy Scott was instructed to call for a general conference by Kaseba, and then absconded up on realising people including the delegates they transported from provinces changed their mind and were supporting Lungu.
Its a blunt lie that there was violence at the conference. It was relatively peaceful knowing what PF minions are capable of.

It does not need to have been served on him in person, it can be served on others in the party structure.

All this shiite is as a result of one stupid judge Issac Chali – a man with no brains to do his job professionally. When this character was asked to preside over a medical board case, this sycophant threw the case out. At that point transition would have been sorted out. According to article 88(b) of the constitution, a two-thirds majority of the members of the national assembly can dissolve itself so that we go for a general election. Humbly suggesting we go down this route.
