Zambia will face South Africa away in a friendly in January.
FAZ spokesperson Nkweto Tembwe said the friendly will be played in Johannesburg on January 4 at Orlando Stadium.
The friendly is the first confirmed build up for Zambia ahead of their participation in 2015 Africa Cup that will take place from January 17 to February 8 in Equatorial Guinea.
Zambia are in Group B at the tournament together with Tunisia, DR Congo and Cape Verde.
