Defender Stopilla Sunzu is expected to join Zambia camp in Johannesburg on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old Zambia captain has delayed to join pre-2015 Africa cup camp after travelling to China to negotiate a move from French Ligue 2 club Sochaux to Shanghai Shenhua.
Sunzu is back in France now preparing to head to South Africa to join his compatriots who entered camp in Johannesburg on December 26.
Zambia coach Honour Janza is also awaiting striker Emmanuel Mayuka from English club Southampton in England including the Israeli-based duo of striker Evans Kangwa and defender Emmanuel Mbola.
The duo have a league commitment late on Sunday evening for Hapoel Ra’anana who host Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene of South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns joined camp on Saturday evening at the end of the first day of training.
Mweene was part of Sunday morning practice before the team took the afternoon off.
