The Patriotic Front (PF) Chongwe District and Constituency committees have refuted claims by area Member of Parliament Silvia Masebo that all committees in the area have endorsed United Party for National Development (UPND) president Hakainde Hichilema as the preferred presidential candidate.
Constituency chairman Oliver Kachepa said the PF structures in Chongwe were intact and campaigning for party candidate Edgar Lungu.
Mr. Kachepa disclosed that the committee registers from the district political secretary in Chongwe shows that none of the officials have defected or endorsed Mr. Hichilima as a presidential candidate.
Speaking during a press briefing at Barn Motel in Chongwe today, Mr Kachepa said Ms. Masebo‘s pronouncements were lies adding that she will not achieve her selfish ambitions by taking the routeof lying and scandalizing the PF.
The press briefing was attended by various Chongwe district, constituency and ward officials who gladly sung solidarity songs for the PF candidate in the January 20 elections Edgar Lungu.
Mr. Kachepa stated that PF had the best candidate among all the presidential candidates and urged the nation to vote for Mr Lungu.
He said Ms. Masebo cannot claim to be popular in Chongwe as she has failed to develop the area during her 10 years as a Member of Parliament.
Mr. Kachepa added that the construction of two Universities, roads, high schools and nine new health posts were initiated by the PF government and not Ms. Masebo.
He emphasized that the PF party committees and officials in Chongwe will remain steadfast and united while praying and campaigning for Edgar Lungu.
Mr Kachepa who described Ms Masebo as divisive warned UPND members to look out for her adding that she was likely to divide the party.
And PF Chongwe district political secretary Thomson Chakaleka has called on Ms. Masebo to resign on moral grounds.
Mr. Chakaleka said by virtue of her endorsing UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema she ceases to be a PF member.
He said Ms. Masebo does not own Chongwe district and that it was unacceptable for her to remain in a party which she is now insulting.

Chakaleka is advocating for an alien practise where a member of a party is prisoner to that party. She can’t disaggree with whatever the party decides even if it is wrong.

Masebo is disgrace to chieftainess Nkomesha because her Royal Highness holds PF in very high accolades especially that her chiefdom has seen massive development by Mr Sata and PF.
She is on record of praising PF of bringing development in Lusaka, Chongwe Palabana and Chiawa areas. Masebo is just a political prostitute who is not thankful and should be taught a lesson she will never recover from.
PF is building two universities namely, Chalimbana and Palabana and on top of this, the State Lodge Chiawa road is a masterpiece and was amongst the first to be completed under Link 8000 by PF.

Let this woman be honest with herself, Lusaka is changed for the better and I speak as a resident of Silverest. It’s PF which has done wonders in only three years and not Masebo. She is nowhere to be seen this woman in Chongwe constituency and all right thinking Zambians should vote massively for PF and EDGAR Lung because I can’t believe the development taking place in our country. Just take a drive and look around and you will appreciate what am talking about.
