Do not let PF finish what they started

I have heard some people rehearse the argument that we should allow the PF time to finish what they started.

Should we let them finish not paying the farmers, sacking our nurses, increasing the national debt and delaying the constitution? Should we let them finish denying students bursaries, thuggish behaviour and intimidating those who speak out against them? No, we should not let them finish that.

Of course where development and construction projects are underway we must continue with these, but no one government will ever finish development and I can tell you now that we will move these forward at a quicker rate and at better value for Zambians.

At the same time we will act to stop the various failures in areas such as farming and education. We will stop the waste and irresponsible accumulation of debt without proper benefit to the Zambian people.

On the matter of the budget that has been passed it should be noted that the budget that has been passed is the Zambian National budget and not simply a PF budget. We can revise elements of that budget, but most importantly we can oversee its implementation with more competent and open management.

We would also like to address some misconceptions being peddled by PF regarding our ability to deliver on our promises if Mr Hichilema is successfully elected President on 20 January 2015.

We have shown in the past weeks that we have cross-party support and that we are in agreement with many others on the right course of action, for example on key areas such as the constitution. In this campaign we have opened our arms to all Zambians – this working together in unity to deliver should be encouraged and not shied away from.

Those who say we cannot do anything in two years are those that twiddle their thumbs while Zambians across the country go hungry. They are worried we will show them up and the people will judge them harshly by comparison.

Mr Hichilema has already committed to a number of pledges for almost immediate action, including reversal of the retirement age, ending of the wage and employment freeze and recognition of Henry Kanyanta Sosala as Chitimukulu. Some promises will take longer to deliver on but we are committed to getting started in January 2015.

As Election Day approaches I appeal to Zambians to remember this is an election and the choice rests with you the Zambian people. Come 20 January 2015 vote for the candidate you believe will deliver change and move Zambia forward.

    • No we are not going to let PF finish what they started because more farmers, students and sick people will perish under continued PF rule.

No we should not let PF continue because fuel, and food prices will continue to rise.

No we should not let PF continue because the kwacha to loose value further.

    • Should the PF be allowed to continue wielding Pangas , No, should they continue disrespecting our Chiefs, No. Should they continue denying our children bursaries, NO. PF (Paya Farmer or Panga Family) must be voted out . Edgar Lungu has already confessed that he has no vision.

    • Useless Dipak Patel. I can`t wait for 20 th January to silence these chaps from UPND, but we know they will still come back with more noise in 2016. UPND always makes the loudest noise but never wins the elections.

    • What is bringing birds of different prey under the Umbrella of UPND? Common Interest. What is that common interest? Continuance of dominance of the Elitist System that deprives the majority the right to decent living, decent wages, dignity and equality before law and society. EL is a threat to the System. They have seen his resilience, felt his steadfastness and drive to keep focus and not be waylaid by insults (calling a Christian a Muslim, a Malawian, a Drunkard, a sick man, a man about to die etc.). They are worried that their days of ruling Zambia by sharing the cake amongst a few privileged is about to come to an end. Lungu is a man of humble background. He is sincere, focused on delivery of development, making playing field even for all so that come 2016 he is given Overwhelming…

    • What Dipak Cartel is saying in his las paragraph is “Come 20 January 2015 vote for the candidate you believe will deliver change and move Zambia forward”, and that candidate is EDGAR CHAGWA LUNGU !!!! Thanks Dipak.

    • DP. Can you tell us why sugar in Zambia is high. You sit on the board of ZS. Someone wrote implicating you in a report you shelved whilst minister of trade. This is a report from the competition commission which revealed that Sugar in Zambia highly priced despite Zambia being a low cost producer. And because you were minister you demanded for that report and till date the commission has never presided over its findings. Today sugar in Zambia is exorbitantly high. Where is your morality and corporate governance tenets. And you are telling us all these things without checking your self. No way….If this came from other people – perhaps those who have been there for HH. I would understand and not someone like you who have no corporate morals.

    • For now everyone is a genius.

Come 20th jan 2015 it will be very clear who does and doesn’t make it.

Confidence levels will drop and endorsements will turn into sour(mabisi).
Fresh political prostitution will open up

    • PF has failed and one farmer has died waiting to be paid and the cost of living is too high for poor Zambians. PF wawa!

  1. Late payment of the farmers
    RDA at statehouse
    Single sourcing of fertizer supplying
waste of tax payer money on commission of equiries
    Use of panga
    etc

Zambia remember to vote wisely come 20th

    • Continued from 1.4 , This is what is making the Muppets of the Cartel uneasy. They see their system crumbling before their eyes. They do not mind HH losing in 2016 and Kabimba taking over, what they want is EL shall not take over so that the “system” remains intact, the system that rewards feudal lords (self-proclaimed lords of the likes of Chilupi, Maureen, Dipak, Desai, Katele, GBM et al). Fellow Zambians I humbly request you to forward this message by emails and posting on online media, facebook etc. Let the people make an informed decision. 1964 gave us political independence 2015 is the year of independence from feudals. Choice is yours- one of us to vote for or to vote for Feudal candidate!

    • @Zambia sugar. You are right. No I can relate the who the two are associates HH-DP. HH was given the mandate to preside over elements of the privatization and he ended amassing wealth at the expense of Zambians. Perhaps he is not being sincerer on why he exactly wants to pay back to the Zambians. I doubt if its about the free he education he enjoyed he as been talking about. I think he has a heavy heart and things haunting him because of the suffering he has caused to Zambian because of the privatization agenda. If copper belt voted for him in numbers, I would be shocked. Because he is also to blem for the existing misery and poverty in the that area. What is more hurting is that he owns shares on most of the companies he recommended foe sell. This ties in with your point on DP. Crooks.

    • This is the only time I have heard logic. PF might have done well but we can have another party do even better. We are choosing to forget quickly the recent past. A bunch of deceitful characters are almost winning everyone over again. No basis for any argument. These PF guys who even hid their leader and just kept everyone frustrated as to what on earth was going on. They are back to cheat us again and almost succeeding. They will just go back to their old ways once they get their way. We need to be analytical and not choose to forget quickly the behaviour of PF in recent times; the arrogance, the lies, the treachery etc. Now they are back telling us that they are good girls and boys and we are expected to agree. Let’s get a new party in to see how things will go.

  2. I’ve been hearing this name(dipak Patel) since I was a mere boy. I’ve never connected it to any real life situations, is he one of the chinama run away?

    • Ha ha, you made my day brother. He is the one who slept with his young brother’s wife. Messed up his marriage. He slept with Jack Joinery (his company) secretary- messed her marriage life. This is Dipak for you. A narcist.

  3. Zambians hold PF to account: no more false 90 day promises, no more pangas, no more political violence and thuggish behaviour.

  4. Dipak, wishful thinking. PF is a working party and Edgar Lungu will continue were MCS left. Better schools, roads, Nitrogen Chemical of Zambia in Kafue, New districts, Clinics, etc……………………………….. Ifintu ni Lungu.

  5. this is very warped thinking by this spent force called dipak mumbai patel. What was wrong with the sacking of nurses for their lawlessnes. Mumbai patel, tell us something that can add value to your already low quality party. Things you have itemised are normal rountine happenings in any country. Ladies and gentlemen, putting upnd into statehouse will be a grave mistake with gustly and grissly conciquences. If upnd have nothing to offer let them vote for edgar. Hh is busy copying sata albeit in a less inspiring manner.

  6. Dipak you must realise that a pledge is not the same as doing something that the people want. When you say HH has pledged to do a lot of things in the shortest period of time you are not telling us how these things will be done. And what is the shortest period of time are you talking about? We have seen what the PF government is doing especially in the area of infrastructure development but we have not seen what the UPND intends to do.All HH keeps saying is doing giving empty promises and empty pledges that do not make sense.Come 20th January the Zambian people will decide who they want and it is not you to tell them who to vote for because their minds have already been made.ICHINTU CHINTU UMWENE!!

  7. Dipak you where sent to go and negotiate the shoperite deal you came back with a worst deal retail industry and your brief case was full of money and bought yourself an island, don’t think we are stupid we are watching you. Sata who knew you better is dead now you can yap this nonsense……hh has already declared himself winner as if he’s unopposed….wait till 20th. Wina azali la!!!

    • @Morcas. So besides the Zambia sugar issues raised there is also the Shoprite issues and him screwing his brothers wife. Awe ndeloleshafye. More I think is still coming?????? Waona manje DP. Ati mumbai lol..

  8. uno muku mathani taitambe bwino. he is funding UPND through this Hindu tribesmate of his and he thinks he will overturn sata’s pro-poor choice Edgar. Tukamona.

    • Mahtani is not in the picture. Leave him and deal with Patel Dipak, you PF moron. Be man enough to face the one in the ring and not the ones sitting in the gallery. Mahtani is an honest industrialist, banker and investor just like His Excellency Hakainde Hichilema.

    • We shall make we teach PF a lesson they will never understand. The PF believe in violence that we shall take to them once and for once they refuse to accept the results.

  9. PF IS ALREADY FINISHED WITH EDGAR NO VISION.SURELY WHO CAN VOTE FOR SOMEONE WITHOUT VISION.LETS TEACH THEM A LESSON AND WHOEVER COMES IF HE DOES NOT FULFIL PROMISE 2016 KUYA BEBELE…THIS IS ZAMBIA NOW LETS BEHAVE LIKE AMERICANS…

  10. Too much illiteracy in Zambia even when some one is talking something sensible, people won’t take time to analyse it but just rush into condemning.country men you’re on the ground and you’ve witinessed yourselves the damage on our Economy by the current regime.any a hungry man forgets about the hunger that struck him yesterday simply because he has been fed today and does not care about 2moro that’s the majority Zambians. We can only fight ignorance by investing in Educating the young population so that pipo can start making informed decisions

    • What is bringing birds of different prey under the Umbrella of UPND? Common Interest. What is that common interest? 11. I have now confirmed that PF kaponyas just cant reason. When HH ( the next President ) indicated that Fuel prices should go down they rose and objected that it is not possible, Today their Muzungu President says Fuel Prices will be reduced. IF the price of fuel goes down, the knock off effect will be a drop in the price of basics like mealie meal etc. VIVA HH VIVA HH People please Vote HH ! ! ! ! !

  12. Dipak, solemnly swear that HH and his politicians will go to public hospitals like the rest of us when unwell rather than rush to overseas medical facilities. Your non-commitment to this sacred matter convinces me HH is no different from the next politician. Please show me a different politician.

  13. Indeed zambia is a peaceful nation where even zambians of Asian origin and with duo citizenship can participate in national affairs. shame. Can someone tell me what tribe this stupid buger Dipak Patel is and where his village and chief are for him to have the audacity to try and talk this crap. Go back to mumbai india where you have no land to live in and there is no burial places such that when you die you are burnt and the ashes are thrown in the ocean. The next govt should not allow these stupid second class citizens to be involved in the affairs of our country. Have you ever seen an african MP in India?

  14. Its only in Zambia whre PF can win an Election coz voting is NOT based on Quality Leadership but on……….( fill in blank).

    HH Foward.

  15. Where do UPND members get the confidence that they will win this election? I wish you good luck, but if it will happen, that will be the biggest political miracle to ever happen in Zambia

  16. ICHIKWANKA BACHIMWENA KUMA MPALANYA.

We have seen how PF has hundled us and they have no message to deliver as at now and ba Dipak Patel you have mentioned may concerns.

PF is damned to drown and this will make them disappear. PF is an ugly and evil party which is not suppose to exist after 20 January. Let us all bury it by making it sink under deep waters for it big hole it which has caused may people stumble. We have hope to come out these deep waters cause by PF with their weakening boat

  17. Thumbs up Dipak. Continue to educate illiterate Zambians. They’re not educated and cannot reason properly. To them poverty is the way of living. Their eyes are closed and its high time they open them and see the damage PF has caused to this country. Maybe we need to start translating this messages in local languages for them to understand. Bena balandafye at ifwe ni “pamaka” and yet they’re suffering. We need such messages for people to make an informed decision.

Sad that I’m now living in Europe and how I wished to be part of the team to remove that irresponsible government. Fortunately have been in touch with my friends and relatives to vote PF out and bring sanity to mother Zambia.

Zambia needs to be liberated from poverty and not that mediocre government of PF.

    Think mwe…

  18. PF has been disturbed by UPND and are shevering for the 9 days more.
They do not know what is happening. Kambwilli will give birth to a still – born baby on 21 January. He unable to sit down properly. He sits on the floor as though he is in the labour room while Dr. Scortt worriedly to receive the fetus so that he can throw it into (fire) incinerator.
People, did you see that picture when he attended the funeral of (MHRS)…home on the post newspaper?

He is in labour for pains 3 months 3 days old.

  19. It’s true PF has done more damage to the economy than good. What was the national debt when they too over? What was the state of the economy? Unless you still want to all them to steal and destroy the economy further bring them in. The best way is to bring in a new leader to lend them until the term ends to slow down their selfishness.

  20. SOME PRONOUNCEMENTS BY HH DO NOT MAKE ECONOMIC SENSE. HE SAYS HE WILL GIVE US FREE EDUCATION FROM PRIMARY TO TERTIARY. HE WILL SUBSIDISE M/MEAL AND FUEL. I THINK THIS IS CHEAP POLITICAL RHETORIC. HE CANNOT JUST SUBSIDISE CONSUMPTION OF M/MEAL WITHOUT TELLING US HOW HE WILL CREAT THE MONEY. FREE EDUCATION FROM PRIMARY TO UNIVERSITY. THIS IS NOT PRACTICAL AND A SURE WAY TO SINK. YES IT SOUNDS GOOD TO THE EAR. UNIP CRUSHED BECAUSE OF GIVING THINGS FOR FREE. I FOR ONE DO NOT WANT FREE THINGS. WHAT I NEED IS TO BE MADE CAPABLE OF AFFORDING TO BUY M/MEAL AND FUEL AND SEND CHILDREN TO SCHOOL. WHAT TYPE OF ECONOMIST IS HH? FREE THINGS FYAKALE. IN THE USA THEY SUBSIDISE PRODUCTION NOT “MUSHETO”. THESE ARE THE FALSE PROMISES THAT POLITICIANS MAKE. AND WE WILL CONTINUE GOING IN CYCLES.

    • @Chisenga Listen and listen carefully.

I know when people are used to living in poverty for too long, they are convinced there is no other way.

Zambia is rich. I mean, very rich. What we need is first to grow the economy to a level where we can afford to provide for everyone. If a country like Lesotho, Namibia, Botswana can afford a lot of free services for its people. Why can we?

Did you know in South Africa, EVERY CHILD born of a single mother is paid every month? Every old person is paid every month? Every South African child is entitled to free education? By the way, when we say free Education, it does not mean that private schools will stop. No. Only that private schools are believed to be more prestigious hence parents wish to send their children there.

      We can also do it.

  21. Dipak,it is good that you have admitted that some promises will take longer to accomplish but remember that this election is for programmes to be implemented in two years! So why lie to the electorate about things that may take longer than a two year mandate? Your President seems to campaign as if he will be elected for a 5 year mandate that is why a message of continuity seems more plausible to accept than a mountain of new promises!Yes PF have made mistakes but they have also done well in some areas;increased civil servants’ pay, introduced minimum wage, increased taxation from mines (MMD under Musokotwane as Finance Minister scrapped windfall tax without additional taxation, but PF doubled Mineral Royalty tax and have proposed even a more beneficial taxation regime for Zambians from Mines)

  22. In Zambia a change of presidents is a complete change of Government. Edgar Lungu will not be like the late M Sata. It is thus naive and malicious to think that what went wrong in the past Govt will continue

    • Very true, and this is what the feudals are worried about. They are trying to lump Edgar with the types of GBM who was in the government. If he is a saint today just because he jumped to HH’s bandwagon to continue eating with both hands, Edgar is the best saint we ever come across. He has never been involved in any government deals, bribes, underhand cuts. He is an honest, sincere, simple humble person. His presidency will be based on delivery for the masses and not for a few feudals who want business as usual. Dipak, can you answer the charge of Shoprite sale, you headed the team, sold it for a song. UPND has been infested with a pack of hungry hyenas. Zambians beware! These are devils camouflaged as saviours. Beware!

  23. .. cont’d.PF raised the income tax threshold to K3,000 so those earning less than that do not pay tax,PF repossessed ZAMTEL which was dubiously sold, repossessed ZR which was being run down under the concession, halted corrupt contracts in key institutions e.g some road projects and at ZRA,revived NCZ to produce fertilizer locally and for the first in twenty years Zambians are using more locally produced fertilizers than before, construction of fuel storage depots in provinces, construction of dip tanks, Vet laboratories to effectively control animal diseases, initiated a project to connect all Districts in Northwestern Province to the hydro-powered National Grid, prevented loss of jobs in mines (when KCM wanted to prune 1,500 workers without adequate reasons),.. cont’d..

  24. ..cont’d.. have reduced load shedding with the hope of ending it all together when power generation expansion and distribution projects are completed, rehabilitated(in some case expanded ) and constructed new roads, increased teachers availability by employing more teachers, improving availability of health facilities through health posts in rural areas and constructing more education institutions from primary to tertiary in all provinces. Failure to pay farmers even in one season is a serious breach of responsibility on the part of government and they would do well to find a means to cushion these farmers from the losses they have suffered this year- this has not be happening every year! So Bwana Dipak,Zambians in various parts of the country are looking at these and many other developments

  25. ..cont’d..So Bwana Dipak,Zambians in various parts of the country are looking at these and many other developments that have taken place in the last 3 years to decide between continuity with change or total change with a new party for the remaining 2 years of PF’s mandates.

  26. The ruling PF has now blamed the worthless Kwacha to the importation of campaign materials by various political parties………..Really???????????

  27. Some people write manuscripts here. People at work can’t spend too much time reading what you think. Keep it short and to the point. I don’t know you – why would I give 30 seconds of my life to your (probably wrong) opinion – 5 seconds is all I’ve got to spare.

    Keep it short!

Ok, I’m going back to being quietly confident in my choice of Mr. Hichilema.

    • @jessie wa mu town,it gets when one wants to adequately inform otherwise we keep it short and it sounds like a mere ritual of stating something unspecific without qualification. For example some one says failures, which failures ,successes which ones etc… So it is better to qualify some of them.

  28. we still have pipo doubting that lungu will win election. Go to NP, EP, LP, MP, CB, CP and LSKP. Even if lungu gote zero from WP, SP and NWP total registered voters from this 3 provinces will be beaten by LP, NP,CB and LskP. EP and MP will be the wining votes for lungu

  29. Even in football a better team does not boost, its only a satanist Wooo does not see or appreciate wat pf has done just in shoty time coz thy believe in over nite things like dipark

  30. For now everyone is a genius.

Come 20th jan 2015 it will be very clear who does and doesn’t make it.

Confidence levels will drop and endorsements will turn into sour(mabisi).
Fresh political prostitution will open up

  31. U even wonder where the PF are getting energy to keep hoping they will win. There is no single sign whatsoever pointing to the PF winning this election. There is a belief that once you get in power then you are assured of at least a full 10 years, even 20 years in office. But the PF will be the first government to exit the drive seat only after 3 years. No one wants the PF and so the PF have no moral right to want to continue to rule. You have taken us for granted, dipped your fingers deep in corruption and you think we can still give you the vote. You have to pay for failing the farmers, failing to reduce tax, failing to put more money in our pokets, for increasing fuel price, removal of subsidies, you got to pay for creating a panga culture in Zambia. PF kuya beebele come January 20

  32. Prophesy……..

    Ichi chintu ni chani?

    Ni chintu chagwa!!!

    Chagwa, kaili ni chagwa.

I believe this name will be full filled.

some names are not good, they are so indicative
