Acting President Guy Scott has appealed to Zambians to remember and honour the legacy of late Michael Sata by retaining the Patriotic Front (PF) as they cast their votes tomorrow.

Dr. Scott said PF president Edgar Lungu was better placed to continue with the infrastructure development programme which was initiated by the late President Sata.

He said this today when he addressed a public rally at Mushili grounds in Ndola.

The Acting President has since assured supporters that the PF, under Edgar Lungu will not crack but continue to grow stronger.

He reminded party members that the spirit of the late President Sata was still with the party.
Dr. Scott has since urged PF members to use the late President Sata’s spirit of hard work to guide them.

And PF president Edgar Lungu assured Ndola residents and Zambians in general that he will lead Zambia to a better economic and social position.

Mr. Lungu said he will continue with president Sata’s legacy of massive development, provision of good health services, high educational standards for all and wealth and job creation.

He has since urged Zambians to turn up in large numbers and vote for the PF.

He further urged Zambians to desist from engaging in violence and avoid retaliating even when provoked.

And former president Rupiah Banda urged voters to elect Edgar Lungu because he was the right successor to president Sata.

Mr. Banda said Mr. Lungu was the best candidate in tomorrow’s presidential elections because he listens and has a big heart to govern the country.

Earlier, Ndola city came to a standstill as hordes of people lined up the streets to catch a glimpse of the former president Banda, acting president Scott and aspiring president Lungu.

Dr. Scott, who was accompanied by Mr. Lungu and the former President Mr. Banda drove through Ndola town and some residential areas among them Masala and Mushili Bonano to the delight of the public.

  1. Scott has lost it
Stop using and in this case abusing the GREATEST president to ever rule this country.

Legacy and Lungu do not belong in the same sentence I am afraid.

    Thanks

    • No Way! Dr Scott is dreaming. The 3 years of Sata’s legacy has been confusion, hypocrisy, lies and violence. All we ever get is deceit.
Tomorrow, every normal person is going to vote for HH so that this legacy of PF hooliganism and primitivism can be finally made to be completely buried.
The visionless drunkard is part and parcel of this skirmish pathetic failures party, that has brought anarchy everywhere in the country. These PF axes, machetes & panga fighters have deteriorated democratic institutions of the state. Surely tomorrow, PF is being democratically voted out.
Dr Scott, I advise you to go & enjoy your retirement, great job for protecting govt resources from the visionless drunkard to cadres.
      Viva HH.

    • The Post Editorial comment 19/01/2015:…..it doesn’t make sence for Dipak to try and distance Hakainde from Munkombwe’s statements when he himself is comfortable with them, sees nothing wrong with them. Clearly,it is Dipak who is disturbed by Munkombwe’s statements and not Hakainde himself.Anyway,Dipak is in the company of people whose political DNA he does not really understand.By denouncing Munkombwe,Dipak thought he was doing the right thing when he was actually offending the people he is helping to campaign and win an election.

    • Mushota, interesting you’re. For once imagine that EL loses, that’s the end of PF. If today your might Sata came back to life, do you think that he would celebrate the loss of PF to nonentity UPND? If you say that you’re PF supporter, you should be the first to glee over this support EL has. Or you’re another of the impossible to please?

    • Ka Mushota calm your tities and take a seat

we the majority will vote for one Edgar C. Lungu whether ZWD and HH like it or not. The drunkards, the dunderheads, the uneducated, the foolish ones, the thieves, will turn out in large numbers to vote for the visionless Lungu, the Sick Lungu, the Thief Lawyer Lungu, The crooked Lungu, the not presidential material Lungu, the Boko Haram / Muslim Lungu…..In short the Edgar C. Lungu is the next Zambian President. If you don’t like this fact – well then you can leave our country and we wont miss you at all.

      HH try Hagain next year.

      Viva EL Viva PF

    • Some upnd cadre on here said he was in the same class as HH…so its official guys we have 52 YEAR OLDs insulting on LT…

I should be laughing but no – am very worried and so should you.

      Viva EL Viva PF

  2. HH THE SATANIST WILL NEVER RULE ZAMBIA
HH THE FREE MASON WILL NEVER EVER RULE ZAMBIA
HH THE DEVIL WORSHIPPER WILL NEVER EVER RULE ZAMBIA.
HH THE THIEF WILL NEVER EVER RULE ZAMBIA
HH THE LIAR WILL NEVER NEVER EVER RULE ZAMBIA

    • Superstitious! This kills Zambians. HH is better than many of these leaders – young, vibrant and modern. If only he had better supporters, I would vote for him. But I won’t because I don’t want my children to become 2nd class citizen to Tongas.

    • *****ic, un patriotic and self pitying statemnts like yours show how we desperately need 2 uproot disrespectul thinking and talking in our country. GROW UP…. I feel sorry 4 ur children… what are you teaching them?

  3. Another PF misrule. Just a warning to my relatives, please to ask me to send you dollars when you choose PF in tomorrow’s elections. It’s your choice to suffer under Vodka. I will keep my dollars and so you should keep your sinking Kwacha.

  4. The so-called ‘Bishop’ is a ‘mario’ who feeds off rich and successful women, (milk cows.) He has been milking one Esther Chewe who I know way back fromChililabombwe who went toIbenga Girls School. A few years ago she even took him for shopping to Las Vegas USA, where she had gone to attend a Business-Expo. The ‘man=of-gold’ has current got himself a new milk-cow in Permanent Secretary Rose Salukatula from Ministry of Defence. Rose, isukaumutwe, this man is just using you for contracts.Stop deceiving people you sluggard and do decent work for your living like a real man.+258876511167

  5. We cannot have Vodka Lungu as our Commander-In-Chief. When he came to Kalewa Barracks recently we observed him having serious tremours (alcoholic or hypoglycaemic.) Half the time the chap was gonking whenever seated. He plans to have ‘Gonena’ Willy Nsanda as his Defence Minister, over us who have been to Staff College, University and have learnt Military Strategy. Never in the history of Zambia Defence Forces have we had such a huge number of educated military strategists to be ruled, commanded by nincompoops. Imagine KMB type of ‘misbehavour’ in the military. Kaminamisa, Chililalila as our Commander-In-Chief, KaponyaGonena as Defence Minister, God save us. . Twakana mediocrity. Officers and Men, Vote wisely, Kwasila.

  6. As you vote Changwa, remember the 65+5 years of waiting for the package. This is retirement for our parents please in case you forgot! In addition our brothers will have no Jobs in the next 10-15 years

  7. Fellow Zambians do you surely want a drunkard with no vision to be your president? I urge you to vote wisely and choose a credible leader not Edgar Lungu please. Edgar is only fit to be a leader of Kaponyas. For sure his Kaponyas turned in large numbers this afternoon at his final rally in Lusaka. They were all drunk. Surely this country will be ungovernable with Lungu at the helm. Please fellow country let’s serve this country from mediocrity. EL shouldn’t be allowed to be president of Zambia.

    • MAN DRINKING IS SOCIALIZING WHILE YOU NETWORK. IF YOU DON’T DRINK LIKE MANY DO WHO DO NOT DRINK, YOU ARE A WOMANIZER. IT’S GOOD THAT EDGAR GOES TO PUBS BECAUSE THIS TELLS US AS ZAMBIANS THAT HE IS OURS AND THEREFORE HE CAN UNDERSTAND COMMON MAN’S PROBLEMS. IF BA CHITOMBWA DOESN’T GO TO PUBS JUST KNOW THAT HE IS A SOCIAL MISFIT. IN THAT CASE HE MAYBE BUSY CHASING AFTER EVELYN HONE STUDENT GIRLS FOR ILLICIT SEX.

  8. Yes we shall honour the legacy of Michael Sata by voting for Edgar Lungu

    2015 Pf ni kotinyo
    2016 pf nafuchi nikotinyo

    Chikubabeninso!

  9. I’m here proudly to say PF has some us proud. This morning in my office with my new work colleague from Ghana asked me the question where I come from? I said Zambia. This is what he said, ‘ you Zambians are cool and hard working.’ ‘ my fellow pastor was in Zambia last week, the roads, buildings, the friendliness, electricity in abundance.’ In Ghana they are rationing electricity.’ He went on saying your late president had a vision and commitment to develop Zambia.’ This is a man of God talking , proudly I said God has taken his son our beloved president its upto us to finish where he left. I know my contribution has no bearing on the voting or outcome as I’m not going to vote. I pray for peaceful and brotherly atmosphere in Zambia as the citizenry decide the person to lead mum…

    • @10. SIMILARLY, THE PERSON WHO INFORMED ME WAS A TSWANA WHO ATTENDED THE WORLD TOURISM CONFERENCE IN LIVINGSTONE. HE TEXT TO TELL ME THAT. “MAN IT WASN’T LIKE I VISITED ZAMBIA A LONG TIME AGO. LAST TIME I WAS IN ZAMBIA WAS ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO. BUT I CAN’T BELIEVE THE MAGNITUDE OF DEVELOPMENT IN LIVINGSTONE. THE PLACE HAS COMPLETELY CHANGED FOR THE BETTER”.
SO, I WAS VERY PROUD OF THIS WHEN HE WENT ON AND ON ABOUT DEVELOPMENTS IN ZAMBIA.

  10. This election is not about the past or Sata. Sata run his race. It is now upto the candidates and what they can do for future of Zambia. Hiding behind a dead man will not solve the problems the country is facing

  11. Scott I think you should have been the one to honour your friend by standing by his decisions of not allowing Vodka Lungu to sell PF to Rupiah. Now he will finish the party that your friend worked hard to build, even if you cheat and rig the elections from HH. You will definitely lose the 2016 elections, no doubt about that. Anyways, its good you never moved into the VP house because you should have had your bags fully packed by now like you fellow clowns. We cannot allow these incompetent clowns to rule us Zambians, please make sure you vote them out and let get real development to start.

  12. Michael Sata’s hard work was exceptional. Especially in keeping Lusaka clean and great in the 80s. Work on work on.
