Jimmy Ndhlovu wants to go pro

Share

Power Dynamos star striker Jimmy Ndhlovu is seeking a professional move abroad.

The ex-Junior international is currently at Arthur Davies Stadium on a one-year loan from Nkana.

Ndhlovu said time has come for him to move abroad after playing in Zambia for some time.

“You know one need to have dreams. I have played in Zambia for a long time,” he said.

“I believe this season I should go outside and try my luck,” Ndhlovu said.

Last July, he attended trials at South African side Moroka Swallows before the proposed move collapsed.

The former Zesco United and Red Arrows striker, however, said he was committed to his current employers.

“It is not just a job, I love playing for Power Dynamos,” Ndhlovu said.

He scored 13 goals in the 2014 FAZ Super League campaign and helped Power to finish second on the table.

  1. A person can participate in elections as a voter, a candidate, an election official or monitor/observer.

Candidates in the elections are either sponsored by political parties or contest as independent candidates. The winning candidate in these elections is determined on the basis of a simple majority vote. This is referred to as the first-past-the post (FPTP) electoral system which Zambia has used since its independence in 1964.

All elections in Zambia open to monitoring and observation by local and international organisations respectively upon obtaining the necessary accreditation. The observers and monitors express their opinions on the conduct of each election through reports that they issue at the end of their missions.

  2. Isn’t the Zambian league professional? we should not have these headlines. Language must change. Jimmy Ndhlovu wants a move abroad. simple. Not that he now wants to be a professional.

  3. Now that we’ve won; the constitution Road map has to be followed ‘religiously’, need to grow our foreign reserves, diversify the economy so that mining firms don’t hold us by the balls, promote more Zambians into different economic sectors to grow our economy. The inflation needs to be trimmed and the country’s credit rating needs to be improved. PF should point at these parameters in 2016 to ensure a solid vote. The usual politics of maize also needs to be sorted. Yuss! ECL, the ball is in your court now, time for politics is over. VIVA PF!!!

  4. Imwe stop bringing politics into a sports thread. We clicked on it because we wanted to read about soccer, we know where to find politics. Does anyone know how serious Mayuka’s injury is? Or is AFCON over for him? Hopefully the rest of the team still stands a chance despite their helplessness after he injured himself.
