Zesco fall to Mamelodi Sundowns

Mamelodi Sundowns beat Zesco United 2-0 in a training game at the South African champions’ Chloorkop training base in Pretoria.

Zesco are in South Africa where they have just wrapped up a ten day pre-season training camp.

Anthony Laffor put Sundowns ahead in the first half before extended the hosts added their final goal lead after the break.

Zesco’s loss came 24 hours after a 2-1 win over Ferroviario de Beira of Mozambique in Johannesburg.

Mwape Mwelwa and Winston Kalengo were on target in that match.

Zesco return home on Sunday after arriving in South Africa on January 15.
