Zesco United have won their opening game in the TP Mazembe four-club tournament in Lubumbashi.
The 2014 FAZ Super Division champions beat DR Congo club Don Bosco 1-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
John Chingandu scored the games lone goal.
Zesco will face Tanzanian champions Azam on Saturday in their penultimate game before taking on hosts Mazembe on February 3.
Zesco are using round-robin tournament as buildup for their February 14 clash against Mbabane Swallows away in Swaziland in a 2015 CAF Confederation cup preliminary round, first leg match.
