Some unknown people yesterday kidnapped three pupils of Angels Park School in Kalulushi on Wednesday and later dumped them at Chambishi Cemetery where they were found tied together on a grave yard in the early hours of Thursday.

Kalulushi District Commissioner Kampamba Mulenga who confirmed the incident said the three were abducted after unknown people pretended to give them grade 9 past papers.

“It was yesterday (Wednesday) around 14:00hrs when these children were abducted. However, the fourth child managed to escape after he become suspicious of the men who had driven them to unidentified house in Chambishi,” Ms. Mulenga said.

She said the boy who managed to escape was found walking aimlessly in the streets of Chambishi around mid night.

“I am happy that the three boys who were found at Chambishi Cemetery early in the morning are well and reunited with their families. It is sad that cases of abduction are on the increase. We need to put up measures to protect our school going children,” she said.

  1. The only people who can do this are people with anger. On top of my head, the only angry people I know of right now are UPND cadres! Am just saying!

  2. My intelligent guess (as it’s called in maths) also points to the UPND.

But were the chaps abused or not.

The Boko Haram we know abducts girls but this one targets boys.

May be that’s the new way of doing things in UPND HARAM.

  3. ”we need to put up measure” maybe the children wer even molested, and yet nothing will be done to search for the pepertraters and inverstigate, zambia the real africa

  4. Boko Haram are now in the country. This is the group that funded Lungu’s campaign. They are simply saying, “We are here and this is what you shall endure”. Next thing they will kidnap our girls. I guess this is why Edgar is going on a holiday to unknown destination possibly to meet with the Boko Haram representatives and re-look at the deal they signed.
