The Patriotic Front (PF) in Kalabo District is overwhelmed by President Edgar Lungu’s appointment of Inonge Wina as Republican Vice President.

PF Kalabo Central Constituency Chairman Chibinda Kashela told ZANIS yesterday morning that it was gratifying to note that President Lungu appointed someone from the Western Province where he got less votes.

Mr Kashela said the move by the President was a sign that he had confidence in Mrs Wina and that he was ready to work with people from Western Province.

He said the people of Western Province appreciate the appointment and the commitment his Excellency had shown to work with Mrs Wina.

Mr Kashela was optimistic that Mrs Wina would deliver to people’s expectation.

“We appreciate the appointment of Mrs Inonge Wina, it shows how much confidence he has in her despite the Province not voting for Mr Edgar Lungu,” Mr Kashela said.

  1. What President Edgar Lungu has done is Marvelous. Did I not say that the East and the west shall lead. Today Mama Inonge Wina is president of Zambia, while President Lungu and other African heads of state are on holiday in Addis Ababa for the African Union Summit. I meant they are discussing African commerce and global warming.

    • If you really want the votes in western province take industries there so people can feed they families ! secondly remove all the soldiers and police harrasing people there its become a police state! Once thats done sit down with its leaders and try and workout have to restore that agreement that was signed in bad faith! Otherwise Pf will have to rig elections in 2016 and there will be a civil war in zambia.

    • How and why are you answering yourself? lol. All is well. In 2016 people that want development shall be working hard. The losers in all parties shall as always try to bring about divisions. Those days are behind us, intermarriage and intelligence rule.

  2. I would like to advise mr lungu our president not to sign boresland he should bring development to north province.
