Nkana heads to Mongu

Share

Dethroned FAZ Super League champions Nkana on Sunday morning travelled to Mongu for a week long intensive pre-season training camp.

Nkana team manager Charles Chakatazya said the club expects to play some friendly matches while in Western Province.

“We will be leaving on the 1st of February and will only return on the 8th of February,” Chakatazya said.

“We may have one or two friendly games depending on the teams that we will find and willing to play,” he said.

Beston Chambeshi’s side last month kicked preparations for the 2015 season.

  1. I hope the corrupt Galu and his cronies could learn a thing or two from this. …the need to have proper facilities at home rather than wasting taxpayer’s funds in RSA.

  2. @Jay Jay, this is not Galu Watchers in Zambia page. Moreover it is about our team Nkana, and not Kalu. Were you already born when he used to play-fu?

  3. The Mongu stadium is still at ground bush level after Sata walked out on the ground breaking ceremony because there was no shovel. That’s was the last and end of the project. No wonder PF will never win in WP.

Good luck to Nkana as they learn to play in the sands of Mongu.

    • @Silumba-sa-Sata.There is no language for thieves in Zambia and any one can speak any language anywhere in Zambia. There is no law forbidding that!

  4. there is no stadium in Mongu that was built by PF, the only pitch they will find is the old stadiums built by KK in all provincial headquarters. however, the reason these teams go to Mongu is because of thesandy pitches found there. they make you fitter and you easily shade off excess weight. i noticed the other time that ZESCO, NAPSA, Power Dynamoes all go there for the pre-season training.

  5. Mwamona nomba you Bembas chased Herve Reinard and now look at how he has transformed Ivory Coast.
